Star Shadow #4

Extraordinary Things

Rate this book

Leo and Caleb have been through hell—addiction, destruction, and even a five year separation—but they’ve come through on the other side with their love stronger than ever.

Caleb knows he’s earned Leo’s forgiveness. He wants to believe he deserves it, but just when Leo needs him more than ever, a voice in his head insists that maybe he doesn't. It’s so loud, he can't block it out. So loud, he’d do anything to silence it.

Including risking everything he and Leo, and the rest of Star Shadow, have built together.

Extraordinary Things is a continuation of Leo and Caleb's love story from Terrible Things. It should not be read as a standalone.

Disclaimer: I beta read this for Beth but that goes nowhere near explaining how much I love this book.

For so it began with Caleb making a brave move to try and sort his life out, so it ends with him and Leo and their long fight back to happiness.

There's no messing around with the relationship here, it's more an exploration of the depth to which being an addict can make you doubt not only yourself, but everyone around you.

No plot spoilers but the ending was everything I hoped it would be. I didn't quite bawl at this one, but the feels were definitely all over the place!

#ARC kindly received from the author in return for an honest and unbiased review

I don’t really know how to rate this.

But, sadly, I feel like this was...unnecessary.

I had to read it so I could have closure with the series. But it didn’t really add anything to it. I ended up skimming a lot of it because a lot of it was just recaps from the previous books only seen through Caleb’s POV.

In the current timeline, the small drama between Leo and Caleb was confusing and boring. The two got their hard won happy ending in book one and this seemed like stirring stuff up for the heck of it.

It was nice to catch up with all the guys. To see Diego and Benji get a more permanent HEA. To see Max and Felix happy. But it didn’t really enhance anything for me I guess.

I don’t know. It was underwhelming. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I was given a copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

I’ve really enjoyed the Star Shadow stories but I’m not entirely sure this fourth book really adds anything to the series. Leo and Caleb enjoyed their HEA in the first story and we’ve had glimpses of their developing relationship in the second and third book. I like them happy and I didn’t love revisiting them as their relationship starts to crack.

I have two real issues with this book. The first is that I didn’t love all the scenes that retell scenes from the first book from Caleb’s perspective. I don’t think it added anything new and I kept wanting to get on with the current story. Probably a third or even half of the book replays moments from earlier in Caleb and Leo’s lives - and none of the replays are new. My second issue is that the conflict between Caleb and Leo in this book seems contrived. After the first few chapters, I wasn’t really sure why they weren’t getting on and why they weren’t sharing a bed. I feel like the author needed conflict to base the book around but as a reader, all I knew was that Leo was upset, then Caleb was upset - and I’m still not sure why.

I enjoyed the Vegas wedding and the interactions between the band members. Honestly the parts of the book I liked most involved the other band members - not the overblown angst between Leo and Caleb. Ultimately, I don’t think this book was necessary. It doesn’t really add to the series - if anything, it detracts from the satisfying HEA in Leo and Caleb’s first book.

Big fans of this series will surely love this extra addition, coming back to the original couple, rehashing a bit from the last book from these guys perspective and seeing previous early scenes from Caleb’s pov.

I really liked the actual song writing in this and the emphasis on making music and the reality of how they have producers, get musicians to come in and play instruments etc, it’s not all magically done by the same main characters. It is a nice change to read a book about musicians where they actually make music.

In terms of the characters and plot, it was nice but I don’t think I was invested enough in this series to love it. I actually stopped at 15% for a month or so and came back to it as it wasn’t holding my attention when I read it directly after the last book.

Loved getting to see Caleb and Leo again. I like getting to see them after the HEA, that that doesn't mean everything is great and perfect. They still have issues to work through. I appreciate seeing that. I like them working through their issues without it being a threat to the solidity of their relationship. There's still work required to be happy. Also loved the development with Benji and Diego. Nice revisit and wrap up over all.

“The simple things are also the most extraordinary things, and only the wise can see them.” ~ Paulo Coelho

Although Leo and Caleb, of ‘Extraordinary Things’ by Beth Bolden, are back together, they have a long way to go before they are on an even keel. In some ways, things are wonderful. They are surer than ever that they are meant to be together, but are so busy being happy that they are afraid to rock the boat by bringing up issues that they need to confront. If Leo and Caleb continue to tiptoe around issues they have been trying to ignore, it may fall apart all over again; this time... forever.

It’s taken Leo and Caleb two years to get to the point that they are able to try again, to overcome the hurt feelings and begin to build trust again. Leo has forgiven Caleb and sincerely wants to work on their relationship. Caleb does as well, but he is haunted by his past and terrified that Leo will change his mind and leave him. In this case, he is his own worst enemy. Leo may have forgiven Caleb, but the problem is, Caleb hasn’t forgiven himself. His lack of self-worth and doubt color their relationship, affecting it negatively by standing between them and making any real progress. Caleb simply doesn’t know how to proceed.

When Caleb is offered an opportunity to cut his own album, Leo goes along, even though it is supposed to be their vacation. Leo is frustrated with Caleb. He has tried his best to show Caleb that he has forgiven him and wants to be with him for the rest of his life but wonders if that’s what Caleb wants. Leo doesn’t know how long he can stand the tension between them. With Caleb spending so much time recording, taking away from their time together, he gets even more frustrated. When Leo’s mother falls and breaks her hip, Leo needs to leave immediately, strikes out at Caleb, telling him he doesn’t want Caleb to come home with him. Instead of telling Leo that there is no way he is going to let Leo go without him, Caleb shrinks from the confrontation. His old fears of abandonment and insecurity raise their ugly heads and freeze him into indecision. Caleb lets Leo leave alone, thinking that his worst fears are coming to fruition, that Leo doesn’t need him after all.

The feelings between Leo and Caleb are so intense that they took my breath away. It also reminded me that, like many others, I can be my own worst enemy. Communication is one of the most important elements of a relationship and things aren’t always going to be easy, fair, or comfortable, but it’s the uncomfortable discussions that enrich a relationship and make it grow more secure and fulfilling than it was beforehand. An important element in Caleb’s recovery is self-forgiveness. Without it, he and Leo would never have had a chance. It’s a lesson everyone should be mindful of. Thanks, Beth, for giving Leo and Caleb their opportunity to have their happy ever after.

Every book in the Star Shadow series has been emotional, but Caleb's story surpasses them all. I think the reason this book hit me so hard is that I already know these Star Shadow band members. I've uncovered each of their backstories and delved deep into the heart of each man. I know their motivations, their deepest hopes and wishes for the future, and what makes them tick. Extraordinary Things isn't the beginning of a new journey, it's the achingly real, sentimental and sweet conclusion of three epic love stories.

Despite how happily Leo and Caleb's first book ended, these two still had issues. I'm thrilled that Beth gave them the extra pages they needed to work through the last of their trauma. Caleb in particular never addressed his own feelings of inadequacy and need to atone for his past actions. This book explores what Caleb's life has been like without self-forgiveness, how he's taken on everyone else's burdens to try to earn the second chance he's been given. It made my heart hurt to see how afraid Caleb was of messing things up again. While he and Leo were never in danger of breaking up, they couldn't truly move forward until Caleb learned to trust himself.

Outside of Caleb's personal journey, this book's fluffiness absolutely melted me. Caleb and Leo's ocean-deep love swept me away from the first pages. While there were spots of angst as Caleb struggled with his emotions, nothing could really come between them for long. As Leo says,  “The pain is a reminder that joy exists. And nothing would ever feel as good as this, if we hadn't been through the bad times.” On top of that, Benji and Diego's wedding is in this book and I can't believe I underestimated how adorable they are as a loved-up couple.

It felt so fitting to conclude this series with Leo and Caleb's latest musical creation. Music has been the heart and soul of these books, and nothing expresses Leo and Caleb's emotions better than the songs they perform together. Music is what brought Leo and Caleb together as teenagers, what ripped them away from each other, and what healed their hearts. Of course music is the only thing that can show the entire world how special their love is. Major kudos to Beth for such an outstanding series--I can't wait to see what's next!

3.5*s of redemption and recovery

This is the fourth book in the series, and most definitely needs the context of the earlier books to be fully appreciated. Having said that a lot of the book involves Caleb revisiting events in the past, which could be useful if it was a while since you read the earlier stories, but at times I found superfluous.

It may just have been my mood when I read this, but I realised that I really had been happy with things as they were at the end of HT ... although even in Hazardous Things it was clear that Leo and Caleb still had some issues. Usually I am sad when I have to imagine what happened after the HEA, but here, my illusions of happiness were well and truly shattered. So I realised that maybe using my imagination is perhaps a better option!

I did love when we get the band together and see how their lives have moved forward - but seeing the pain caused by Caleb's insecurities and his acceptance of the changes in his life, the love that Leo most definitely has for him ... it was tough. It may be due to the current climate, or some hang up of mine, but in a way this time, it was hard work getting to the end of the story through all the angst. One day I will read all four in a go and possibly feel quite differently about the contribution this one makes to the whole.

So happy to have a book in this wonderful series from Caleb's POV. It allows us to get closer to a character who had so much impact on others and are the reason the band reunited.
With everything that Caleb has gone through, it's so very hard to quiet the negative thoughts constantly in his mind, that he can never again make a mistake, especially when he's had them for so long. Caleb and Leo's relationship comes full circle here as we see that though they were reunited in Terrible Things (book 1), it didn't make them a perfectly happy couple all of the time. There's still a lot to process and work through for them individually and as a couple. There's a lot of emotion that I felt impacted by - struggles, love, forgiveness, friendship.
It is a perfect way for Beth to end this series and I'm so glad that I got to read and experience all of the character's stories.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

Extraordinary Things, the fourth book in the Star Shadow Series is a wonderful book by Beth Bolden. This is a part of a series; a continuation of a painful, complex storyline. It is necessary to read the other books first, starting with Terrible Things.

This a second chance romance for Caleb and Leo. Caleb is getting healthy from addiction. He's still in love with Leo but isn't quite ready to be with him.

Caleb destroyed himself and is now struggling to forgive himself. His is a journey of learning to accept one's past, and move forward with acceptance and forgiveness.

Their love is a love worth fighting for. Their journey is full of pain, hurt, fear and apprehension. They have to deal with conflict and insecurities. The tension jumps off the pages.

Extraordinary Things is a story of trust. This Beth Bolden story is a tough read, but a worthwhile one. And it's a stunning finish to the Star Shadow series, which covers three love stories.

I think Extraordinary Things, the fourth book in the Star Shadow series, is my favourite. It definitely needs to be read in order, as there are continuing storylines, and this book focuses once more on Leo and Caleb. One of my issues with Terrible Things is that it felt a bit unbalanced in favour of Leo. Here we have the opportunity to see things more from Caleb's perspective, though the timeline is a couple of years later. There are a few flashbacks to some of the key events in Terrible Things as seen from Caleb's POV, if you need a bit of a reminder.

The acknowledgement that recovery from addiction is ongoing, hard work and painful is clear in Extraordinary Things, as Caleb runs the risk of letting his insecurities get the better of him. He proves himself to be a fighter though, whilst Leo proves himself to be loving and supportive.

Extraordinary Things is an emotional roller-coaster of a read and feels like a fitting conclusion to the series, with HEAs for all. 4*

I adored Leo and Caleb in Terrible Things, so it was wonderful to revisit their relationship here in the final book of the series. This time, the story is told from Caleb’s point of view and peppered here and there through the story are “interludes”—flashbacks to a couple of years ago when Caleb had returned to the group and his and Leo’s relationship restarted. While I’m not generally fond of flashbacks, here it helped knowing Caleb’s thoughts from those scenes from the first book.

Since not every relationship is an automatic happy ever after—even if it may seem so at the time a previous story ends—Extraordinary Things lets readers see Leo and Caleb continuing to work on their relationship. Yes, they love each other; that’s obvious even as they seem to hit some bumps in the road. Everything they’ve been through up to this point makes their hard-won happiness even more solid.

Now, I’m going to admit—if I had never read this book, I would have been perfectly happy with how things were left at the end of Terrible Things. But the insinuation of possible issues between Caleb and Leo at the end of book three (Hazardous Things), and the opportunity to get Caleb’s point of view made me glad I read this story. Bonus points for getting to spend some time with all of the guys again, and the author just HAD to squeeze in something to make a couple of tears fall (for those who’ve read it…the story behind the tattoo).

Extraordinary Things was a solid 4-star read for me, and it closes out the series on a high note (pun intended). Please note that this is not a standalone—at a minimum you need to read Terrible Things first, though my personal recommendation is to just read the entire series in order to get the most enjoyment from this story. This book is meant for readers 18+ for adult language and sexual content.

A wonderful way to end a great series

Review: Extraordinary Things
(Star Shadow #4)
by Beth Bolden

Rating: 4.75🌈

Extraordinary Things is the series finale for Star Shadow, Beth Bolden’s rock band romance.

While all five musicians got their HEA, the heart of the band and much of its drama centered around the couple Leo Humphries and Caleb Chance. It was the disappearance of Caleb that caused Star Shadow to disband and Leo to shatter. And it was his reappearance that eventually put them all back together…4 books later.

In Terrible Things, we got the background of the band, the group’s long friendship and the couple’s relationship. It was completely Leo’s perspective, including watching and being unable to help a Caleb who’s addiction to alcohol was spiraling out of his and everyone’s control.
It was raw, angry, and painful.

And I wondered about Caleb’s viewpoint in that book.

In Extraordinary Things Bolden gives us Caleb’s story and missing voice. A perfect way to come full circle and wrap up the series.

We’re able to go back into the past with Caleb, his addiction, his feelings about what drove him away from Leo and his friends. As well as what’s still driving him today. It’s a complicated and complex internal picture of a man still struggling with forgiveness and the destruction he caused to those around him.

The other side of which is Leo who also is trying to adjust his life to Caleb’s needs as well as his own.

Bolden’s story, the band’s new dynamics, and ongoing trust issues are beautifully defined and well written. I love that communication works out to be key to forward movement here. Frank discussions and finally a leap of faith in each other’s feelings and strength.

This is an emotional story who’s journey starts with Terrible Things. For me books one and four are the jewels here but the others are the necessary pathways to get there.

Read them all in the order they were written with pleasure. I’m highly recommending them.

Star Shadow series:
Terrible Things (Star Shadow #1)
Impossible Things #2
Hazardous Things #3
Extraordinary Things #4

Synopsis:

Leo and Caleb have been through hell—addiction, destruction, and even a five year separation—but they’ve come through on the other side with their love stronger than ever.

Caleb knows he’s earned Leo’s forgiveness. He wants to believe he deserves it, but just when Leo needs him more than ever, a voice in his head insists that maybe he doesn't. It’s so loud, he can't block it out. So loud, he’d do anything to silence it.

Including risking everything he and Leo, and the rest of Star Shadow, have built together.

This is the fourth and last book in the Star Shadow series and it isn’t a standalone book. In this book we follow again Caleb and Leo and this time it’s from Caleb’s point of view. I will admit that I was a bit scared to read it because Leo and Caleb went through a lot of pain before getting their happily ever in book one and I didn't want them to suffer more. I was pleasantly surprised because even though they had their ups and downs and they had to work on their relationship they weren’t really in danger of breaking up. I loved how they communicated and how they showed their love. I love all the couples in the series but those two have stolen my heart. Their relationship felt so realistic. They’re people with flaws and they will disagree but in the end they will stay together and fight for their happiness because they love each other so much. And their love is just epic.
I really enjoyed seeing the other couples again, and I adored the interludes. It was great reading scenes from book one from Caleb’s pov.
I thought that the book was perfect, a great addition and a great way to close the series. I couldn't stop reading it and at the same time I didn’t want it to end. I’m going to miss Star Shadow, I really loved following their journey.

This book picks up after the Grammy’s. It overlaps Felix and Max’s story, and some of the scenes we’ve been through already, but now see from a different perspective. It dives deeper into Caleb’s struggles with his past, choices, and recovery, and how it’s affecting his relationship with Leo.

I was fascinated with the interludes. They went back in time, to previous scenes, but show them from Caleb’s perspective. It gives us more insight into his journey and thought process.

After their hard-fought reconciliation, it’s hard to see Caleb and Leo still struggling. The life of a recovering addict never ends with recovery. It evolves, but it’s a lifelong process. Caleb has lots of internal struggles, and not being able to forgive himself is one of the biggest ones. It’s heartbreaking to watch. Caleb isn’t done learning things, and this process doesn’t mean they won’t get a HEA. It just means there’s more work to be done beforehand. Leo is supportive throughout the entire process.

I’ve really enjoyed this series, so I’d never turn down more time with these fellas. It was good to get snippets of what Benji, Diego, Max, and Felix have been up to. Overall, this was a good addition to the series, and I’d highly recommend it.

I'll be honest. I read this book because I read the others and I felt almost an obligation to finish out the series even though I was really wary of revisiting Leo and Caleb's relationship since I their issues were one of my least favorite parts of Hazardous Things. They worked hard for their HEA, dammit. It was an emotionally draining journey.
I wasn't all that enamored of the way they were portrayed in the last two books and I was not sure I wanted to know the rest of the story, as it were, but again, I felt that I'd invested this much already, so I owed it to them to keep reading.
As the book started off, I almost closed it. Again, been there, done that, don't mess with the HEA! But I told myself to give it a chance and read just a couple more chapters, so I did, and I discovered that I really DID want to know Caleb's point of view. I really did want to know why he and Leo acted the way they did, and I really did want them to have a solid relationship and a solid HEA.

Bottom line, I'm glad I read the book, and if you're on the fence, I hope this review pushes you on the side of reading it. Please note - all these books are well written. It's a testament to Beth Bolden's ability to create three-dimensional characters that my review centers so much around them!

Extraordinary Things is the final book in the Star Shadow series and it is wonderful to see how all three of the couples are doing. We get Caleb's POV of his reasoning for getting the band back together and it is interesting to see how he was affected by everything that happened when he returned to Leo and the band. He and Leo still have a few things to deal with even though they have been happy together for the last two years. Caleb has to figure out how to keep moving forward with his and Leo's relationship, his solo career and his continuing recovery. I love how this group of friends are so accepting and supportive of each other and that they all are finally getting their well deserved HEA's. There is a little too much angst and drama for me that seemed to be unnecessary at times but overall I enjoyed this story and I look forward to seeing what the author has in store for us next.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I was so nervous about Leo and Caleb after book #3, leading me to be very anxious about Extraordinary Things.

I need not have worried; Bolden had it all under control. This story (which runs concurrently with the timeline of #3) lets the reader delve more deeply into the complex and amazing relationship these two have. Investigating their history as well as more information about their previously-mentioned interactions is an intriguing way to develop the relationship.

These men have an enduring relationship, despite multiple struggles. As Bolden says, “All of you know some of the versions of Caleb that lead to these songs. I don’t think any of you know them all, except maybe one man. Leo, who’s been my rock, my foundation, my North Star, for as long as I’ve known what love is.” And really, that sums up this amazing series and I am so grateful for this second take on this couple.

I remember that when I read "Terrible Things", one of my critics was that you never read Caleb's POV, and I kind of disliked him at first because I just couldn't accept the hurt he caused Leo. Now I am floored by the intensity and depth of his feelings and the daily struggle he faces to be the man Leo deserves and loves. Be prepared to be pulled into a continuous self-analysis, self-doubt, and self-downgrading. But you will also have a chance to reconnect with all the band members of Star Shadow, see how they interact with Caleb and accept him back among them, read about the development of their own love stories and just be emerged in the world of these men, who are one big family, with their faults, defects, but also ready to make amend, forgive and love. Wonderful final book of the series! I will miss all of them.

From the very first book, the guys from Star Shadow regularly tore my heart out, stomped on it and put it together in the best way. The perspective of reading book 4 made me feel prepared. I thought I knew what to expect.
I was so, so wrong!
To say Beth Bolden created a masterpiece is still not enough! The brilliant culmination of Leo and Caleb's story is written with such finesse it left me absolutely speechless! The healing, the doubts, the turmoil in this book is so visceral it makes it impossible to remain impartial. The reader is sucked into the story totally and completely, from the very first page! The glimpses of the situations from book 1 shown from Caleb's perspective are an absolute gem!
I thought book 1 was a complete story, but with book 4, they paint such a more wholesome picture! And a beautiful one at that!

This series has given me three couples to adore. Leo and Caleb were the first introduced in Terrible Things, and they broke my heart and put it back together. This wrap up to the series goes back to Leo and Caleb, and it just reinforces their love for each other, and my love for them. We see more about the fears Caleb experienced when he came back to Star Shadow, the band he abandoned when he hit rock bottom with his alcoholism. There are some great flashbacks, along with very sweet and loving scenes between Caleb and Leo as the strong couple they are now. This story shows that things are not always perfect, and love isn't always smooth sailing. However, a couple as devoted as these men can make it through.
It was great to see the other couples as well, and I loved the mushy love each couple exhibited. This was a lovely wrap up for a fabulous series. I loved it so much!

My favorite boys are back!

Caleb and Leo, the OG Star Shadow couple, are back again with a continuation of their lives after a second chance at massive success. Everyone is paired off and living their HEAs. Caleb and Leo head off to Fiji for a vacation. Well, a working vacation for Caleb. He's recording a solo album!

I loved getting a view of Caleb's thoughts, feelings, and struggles In Extraordinary Things. He's still carrying his baggage from his addiction and the damage he caused to his personal and professional relationships.

He was just a mediocre bass player in an ex-boyband, an addict who'd never truly recovered.

My heart was broken and mended and ripped apart again...just to be put right back together again. Caleb is the hardest on himself out of anyone in his circle. Some of the damage is still there, lurking in the background; but, for the most part, the boys in the band have forgiven him and have moved on.

Some of the best parts are the Interludes where the reader gets Caleb's POV of scenes from Terrible Things.

Bolden creates perfect harmony in writing Caleb's process of recording his solo album and his working through his remaining issues. These two things went hand and hand, making Caleb and Leo, and Caleb and his bandmates, stronger in the end.

Extraordinary Things was a lovely send-off for Caleb and Leo, and Star Shadow.

Leo had forgiven Caleb for leaving him, imploding the band when he left. Star Shadow had come out the other side, bigger and better than ever.

Caleb had never forgiven himself for hurting Leo. The doubts piling around him, making him doubt himself.

Leo was the fire that drove Caleb. His reason for breathing.
Leo felt the same. “The pain is a reminder that joy exists”.

This was a nice ending to the Star Shadow story. Well written. Even though it was Caleb’s story it showed a lot of insight to Leo’s thoughts. I think this series is my favorite of the author’s work.

I was so nervous to read this because I loved the way Leo and Caleb's love story turned out. But I needn't have worried. It is deeply emotional and this time, getting Caleb's POV just hit me hard. Although they've been happy for the past two years, Leo and Caleb still have things to work on, and Caleb has to work through his ongoing recovery and finally forgiving himself. Despite the bit of angst that comes with this, Leo and Caleb are rock solid and super sweet. And getting to see all the other band members on top of this makes for a wonderful conclusion to this series, with solid HEAs all round. I'll be re-visiting these guys for sure!

Extraordinary Things, Star Shadow book four by Beth Bolden. Love!!!! The last book of the Star Shadows series is EXTRAORDINARY! I didn’t know if I wanted to read another book about Leo and Caleb. I’m so glad I did! That’s not really a true statement. I knew I would read anything that Beth wrote in this series. Every book in this series is fantastic! This one had me going through every emotion. Beth has become one of my favorite authors! This series is one of the reasons why. This is a book and series you have got to read!

This story was from Caleb’s POV and it was incredible. Learning his side, his thoughts and feelings were heart breaking for me personally. I cried ugly tears at times. The story delves deep into Caleb’s mind, his insecurities and love for Leo. This story was fantastic. I loved how we got to see Benji and Diego’s wedding. I’m going to miss these guys and the incredible world that Beth Bolden created!!

Wow. What a finish for a fantastic series! Caleb has faced his demons every day since his recovery began. He and Leo deserve their happy ever after. The way these two know and care for each other so deeply makes even more endearing.
Just like the other books, this one is hot! It has the same snarky sense of humor and the same candid approach to life and it’s problems. Despite the fact that all the guys are filthy rich, they’re quite down to earth. Mostly. They’re family, and there for each other all the way.
I just finished it a few minutes ago, but I want to read it again right away!

I totally enjoyed Extraordinary Things, the final book in the Star Shadow series. It really helped finish the series going back to the first 2 MCs, Leo and Caleb and give them a finality. All the other band members had plenty of air time in this book too, but it was at the heart about Leo and Caleb figuring out how to be a couple after the first flames are over. It was hot, sexy and full of personal growth. I definitely recommend this book and the entire series.

Leo and Caleb have been on a rollercoaster of emotional pain and really put through the wringer. Seeing theses wonderful characters fight so hard for their happy ending made me so glad that I picked up book one, Terrible Things, all those months ago. I was there at the beginning of their story and I am so happy to be here for their much deserved (and fought for) happy ending. I highly recommend starting with book one because not one minute of this amazing story is to be missed.
