Can Liosh heal her of her trauma so the two of them can bond?
The situation gets even more complicated when Jodi’s fiancé comes home and the Varians sniff her and Melli out. Now Vorn and Liosh are in a desperate race to save the women they love—will they succeed? You’ll have to read Taming Two Warriors to find out…
**Author's note: Though I have tried to handle it sensitively, one of the characters in this book has a history of past sexual assault which may be triggering for anyone who has experienced sexual trauma in their history. Please read responsibly!***
Evangeline Anderson is a registered MRI tech who would rather be writing. And yes, she is nerdy enough to have a bumper sticker that says “I’d rather be writing.” Honk if you see her! She is thirty-something and lives in Florida with a husband, a son, and two cats. She had been writing erotic fiction for her own gratification for a number of years before it occurred to her to try and get paid for it. To her delight, she found that it was actually possible to get money for having a dirty mind and she has been writing paranormal and Sci-fi erotica steadily ever since.
We first met the set of characters in Taming Two Warriors in the novel Stealing Her Heart. Although Taming Two Warriors can be read as a stand-alone Kindred Tale, I enjoyed reading it soon after I finished Stealing Her Heart. Sisters Jodi and Melli are daughters of the heroine Vicki in Stealing Her Heart. We met them briefly near the end of their mother’s story. The evil villains are still the Varians, but we meet some pretty bad humans as well. The two warriors, Vorn and Liosh, are chosen as the sisters’ bodyguards.
As the author tells us, in the beginning Melli and Liosh seem to be immediately attracted to each other, but Melli suffered a trauma in her past that throws a block between them. Jodi and Vorn seem just the opposite: snarling and snapping at each other from the moment they meet. You must be asking yourself if this tale is about taming the warriors or taming the daughters.
While Melli is dealing with her past, Jodi’s finance makes his appearance. If you look under his name in the dictionary, you’ll see selfish, arrogant dud. I just wanted to shake Jodi to get her to see his true colors. But then, the Varians attack at the moment the girls’ bodyguards are called away. The sisters are taken.
At that point the novel reminded me of an old black-and-white western. It is circle the wagons time, but the horses are missing. The men have all left to round them up, leaving the women unprotected. Will the men return in time or will they arrive only to discover total destruction? Will the two Kindred be able to save the women they love or will they, too, arrive too late.
Taming Two Warriors is a very enjoyable tale with lots of action. You’ll find the clash between the couples, the harshness of the Varians, and the steamy romance the Kindred are known for. I have read Evangeline Anderson’s novels for several years, and she has become one of my favorite authors. I’m definitely keeping this one on my virtual keep and reread it shelf!

I absolutely love this series, an escape into another life. This one continues from a previous story but it still reads as a stand alone, but quite frankly I think you should go back to the beginning of the series ;) Two Kindred guarding the daughters of another mate that are in danger from scaly aliens. All the emotions, funny, sad, sexual tension and danger. A thrilling tale of action and romance, I loved it.
Two for the price of one! Both of these Kindred have their work cut of for them, but they each come through in the best possible ways. To be honest, I wouldn’t be able to pick which parts I like better, Liosh’s or Vorn’s. They were mirrored stories. I love how intricately they wove together, while keeping each one a separate situation. It was super hot and sexy, and filled with the “feels” like I’ve come to expect from Evangeline Anderson and the Kindred books. A big win for me!!
Why can men be like these kindred warriors? Seriously! They’re so patient and kind, know exactly what your feeling most of the time, and do all they can to make you happy. These two couples have their work cut out for them, but the males know exactly what their females need.

Jodi is so bitchy it's hard to connect with her as listening to her snap at her. Also she's a sex therapist but she is shocked that someone suggests that she should expect her fiancé to meet her sexual needs. Why would she want to marry a guy that not only doesn't meet her needs but who actually shames her for using toys. She is clearly unsatisfied with her relationship but insists on sticking it out simply because she doesn't want to be like her father who left her mother, without stoping to think if there is reason for it. Leaving someone just because you want to trade in for a younger model is not the same as breaking of an engagement with someone who doesn't respect you, has no interest in seeing you happy. I really don't understand why James stayed with her if it turns out he not only doesn't love or respect her but actually has been regularly cheating on her with someone else. Why go on and marry her at all he's not even getting money out of it so why stay in the relationship?
Melli initially seems easier to cope with. She's had a very traumatic assault and Anderson does try to deal with that with dignity and despite it seeming like she's being overdramatic in insisting she won't ever be able to bond because of her trauma we do learn that there is a medical reason behind that belief. However she has a TSTL moment when she answers the phone to her old nemesis the breaks her promise to keep safe in the dorm and goes out to meet the girl then goes ahead outside to meet with an unknown other person and then allows herself to be led away into the dark... What's more when she is confronted by her old rapist she just stands there like a lump and while she might be frozen in trauma in the face of her attacker why doesn't she punch the girl in the face.
What's more it's great that Kindred can't hurt a female there ought to be some sort of exception for women who are pure evil. What about a girl like the one who has now twice set up Melli for rape and even wants to watch it? I'd kind of like to see a Kindred Warrrior go into rage to save his mate from one of the many horrid abusive women that show up in these books.

Evangeline Anderson - Taming Two Warriors: A Kindred Tales Plus Length Novel
First I want to thank Evangeline for making this a Plus length novel I could not get enough. Second although there were triggers about certain terrible crimes against one of the characters they were done with sensitivity and an important part of the characters storyline and road to healing. These characters were first met in the book “Stealing Her Heart” which involved the sister’s mother’s story. With the Varians trying to capture Melli and Jodi the Kindred have assigned the a warrior to each of the sisters for protection. Although Melli was instantly drawn to her Blood Kindred Bodyguard”Lions”, sister Jodi was just the opposite. She resented “ Vorn”, a beast kindred, and couldn’t wait to be rid of him (although she was intrigued by his addicting smell and manly appearance). This book was awesome, each character having their own issues to deal with. Melli a past horror she has yet to overcome even with the help of her sex therapist sister Jodi. Liosh instantly realized Melli was his mate, but had to figure out how to get her to trust him and how to help her overcome her past. Vorn can’t escape the sexy messages Jodi can’t help revealing. This addicting book was a rollercoaster ride of action, romance, danger, humor, emotional upheavals, and a whole lot of delicious 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. Seriously turn up the air conditioning because just a fan won’t do. The four all undergo their own paths towards healing and their HEA’s, but the path to that point makes for one awesome read that’s impossible to put down.
Jodi and her sister Melli star is this double header in kindred tale. We met them in the last book when their mother found the love of her life in an M switch kindred. Lizard aliens wanted an artifact and threatened to kill all 3 ladies. This is where Liosh and Vorn first come in contact with the females that would stir their mating scents & hearts. Both girls need body guards until the Kindred can close any openings in the shield around earth. This is a different kind of kindred tale because both sisters stories are being told at the same time. Melli has had serious trauma in her past she so wants to be loved especially by Liosh but feels broken and unworthy. Jodi has been repressing her inner wants and desires. She hides who she really is because she feels like she's supposed too. Liosh and Vorn have their hands full keeping their females safe, healing them and showing them that they are loved for who they are. Great story💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖💖
I listened to the audible version of Taming Two Warriors and it was good, however I think that because it has two couples in this book, this one had more steamy scenes than story. Vorn and Jodi part of the story seems more focused on Jodi's exhibitionist and her desires for role play. She isn't getting what she wants sexually from her fiancé James, and Vorn is more than happy to help once he and Jodi get over their aggravation of each other. Melli and Liosh story focuses more on Melli exploring her sexual desires once again after being physically assaulted. Liosh, A blood kindred is willing to use any means necessary to help his bonded mate heal. Melli just doesn't realize that he's claimed her as his yet and he has no intention of letting her go, even if she feels damaged. Both Melli and her sister Jodi get their HEA in the end. This story has threats, deaths, exploration, steamy scenes, revenge, discusses matters that may be sensitive for some and a well-deserved HEA.
Omg I was waiting for this book to come we meet the 2 sisters Jodi and Melli in the last kindred tales. I new from seeing them in the last book that each sisters story was going to be great. And I wasn't disappointed at the girls need 2 kindred warriors Von and Liosh to protect them from the Varians. Both couples face miscommunication and they must all go threw trails to find there happy ending. Great adventure spicy hot love scene Evangeline Anderson continues to write such amazing stories I can6 wait to read her next book. This book came just in time even though the country is going threw a terrible time with this pandemic this book allowed me to escape the chaos for awhile. No spoilers here definitely recommend this book.

It's a stand alone book but the set up for the characters happens in the preceding book (Stealing her Heart). I read both. You CAN only read this one (it's a lot better than the book before), but I don't think it's the best move.
I really liked the structure: two couples instead of one / and the setting: earth instead of an alien planet (although I like alien planets).
Melinda and Jodi are sisters. They are paired with Liosh (Blood Kindred) and Vorn (Beast Kindred) respectively. Melinda and Liosh are lawful good and quite sweet. Jodi and Vorn are chaotic evil and fight all the time. The contrast of those two stories (they were quite parallel) really worked for me.
Jodi needs a chill pill and some perspective though. She was angry and outside her lane all the time. I liked Melinda and Liosh a lot more than Vorn and Jodi.
Opposite sides of one coin I have read most of this author’s books and I think this may be one of my favorites. She did such a wonderful job of showing how one moment can effect many people for way longer than you would expect. Especially when it comes to the most heinous crime against a female. But not to fear, these warriors know exactly what their ladies need. With a little help from the Goddess, and the author, all four characters overcome the obstacles in their path to find the HEA that they thought was beyond them. I also like how a certain someone gets it in the end, how poetic. This book is filled with everything that I have come to expect from the author. I can’t wait to read the next book she sends our way.
So just like the rest of this series, this book was awesome. It's definitely stand alone but we briefly met the characters in Stealing Her Heart. So it made it a bit more enjoyable to read them in order. This one was a bit different from the rest of the series, we have 2 couples in this book. One of the couples immediately clicks but Jodi has trauma in her past so it kind of puts things at a stand still, even though she feels the connection. Then we have her sister Melli, who is just so focused on her kindred being annoying but she can't pinpoint why. Well, we know why!!!! We know the ones we love annoy us the most. I loved the action in this book, there were some twists and turns that really made the story great and I look forward to more.
It is always good to see another book come out in this series. The book can be read as a standalone. The author did an amazing job making sure you did not feel lost when reading the story.
I love that she wrote the sisters together instead of breaking them up in separate books. I love that the sister was as different as day and dark but they were so protective of each other. They truly had that sisterly bond.
I almost laughed at the different experiences the Kindred warhorses had with these sisters but then there was the sad situation as well that would make your heartbreak for her.
Reading this story made me wish I had a Kindred bodyguard. This was a story I would recommend. I truly enjoyed the read.
As usual this series doesn't disappoint. This one continues from a previous story but it still reads as a standalone, but I would totally recommend that you check out the other books in the series first. It going to have you feeling all kinds of emotions. Add-in the laugh out loud moment, sexual tension, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hook from beginning to end and you have a helluva read. Can't wait to see what else is in store for this series. I received a free copy via booksprout I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.
This story features two parallel, interconnected stories revolving around sisters Jodi and Melli who are under the protection from evil invaders called the Varians. The sisters are as different as night and day but are both strong and resilient and loyal to a fault. Jodi is paired with Vorn, a Beast Kindred and they are a feisty and spirited match. Melli is assigned to Liosh, a blood Kindred and together they navigate her troubled past. Of course, the evil Varians are involved and there is some action that the story centres around the relationships that develop between the two couples. I loved it.

Really good read. I am very glad the sisters and their warriors went their separate ways. It was a little much to hear all four of their inner thoughts at the same time.
It’s hard to read the destruction that comes when a Kindred goes into a rage, but it always is at the right time. He destroyed the guy who attacked his bride, but he saved her.
I loved reading this book because it was like two stories in one, and watching both develop was intense for different reasons. It sweet how patient one warrior was while the other was direct and blunt. Each of them perfect for their bride.
I love it when the whole family gets their happily ever afters! After meeting both sisters in the last book I could tell there was another story just waiting to happen. I didn't mind that they shared a book because their stories were very intertwined. There were some heavy issues dealt with in this book and a couple parts that should get a Trigger Warning for those who have a hard time dealing with rape. But everything was handled with care and they worked through their issues beautifully. And I learned about a new medical condition. I love learning new things in the course of my adventures.
This chapter of the Kindred Tales books really had potential, but ultimately the main underlying story (Meli having been attacked in high school) just got to be so overwritten and dumb.
In a previous book, the mother of these two women meets a Kindred mate. In this book Meli and Jodi have their own stories (they were attacked by aliens when their mother was around and were saved by specific Kindreds that we meet in that other book). Just doing their stories would be good but when Jodi's fiancé ends up being such a lame and yet rude character and Meli's past attacker comes back it just ruins the rest of the book
Okay, I liked Melli's story. It was a sexy, entertaining read. As for Jodi, I couldn't stand her. I also don't know why her Kindred even LIKED her. She displayed NO redeeming qualities throughout the entire book until the very end. It was just... weird.
I was also not very thrilled with reading both stories in one book, at the same time.
If Melli's story had been a novella I read, it would be 3 stars. I liked it. It's not going to win awards, just a fun erotic romance to read to relax with. But add in Jodi's story and it made my rating 2 stars.
Sisters Melli and Jodis' story is one of discovering what matters most and realizing that sharing past incidents can be healing and life altering. Some parts are painful but it's told with compassion and support is given by listening with much patience. An adventurous , romantic story with lots of heat and passion! I absolutely loved this book. This story is about two very different sisters and two very different warriors. Vorn & Jodi. Liosh and Melli. Their stories are different but they both dragged you in and are both wonderful couples journeys that you follow. I'm completely in love with this book. This is one of the hottest Bride of the Kindred books. You might need a cold shower after reading this. I highly recommend you give this book a try. So amazing!
Amazing story. This series always rocks. One warning that there may be a trigger for some. Two sisters are in danger and are assigned two Kindred warriors to protect them. I love how the two sets are so different. One sister has a painful past that won’t leave her. The other has a secret that she hides even from her fiancé. Both their stories are told side by side. And makes for some interesting interactions. The ending as a twist that I guarantee will make you laugh.
Two kindred warriors volunteer to be bodyguards to two human women that the kindred fear the lizard aliens may come after. The blood kindred already knows that his woman to protect is his intended mate, she just doesn't know it yet. The beast kindred and the other human woman can barely stand each other's company. You will have to read the book to find out if the lizard aliens attack and what happens to both couples.
I enjoyed reading this book, it really has two stories in one. They have good storylines and are entertaining and filled with adventure. The interaction and chemistry between the characters is great. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this book as a FREE ARC copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
There is an interesting twist with this book. We follow two sexy couples and not just one! We met our couples in Stealing Her Heart and I'm so glad that they got their own stories. Our couples are fun and sexy and a great happy ending. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I realy liked that Story. I get the Feeling that the books from Miss Anderson are getting more darker and kinkier as the first books. And the great thing is ITS A REAL BOOK.!!! 😍, But the think i realy wished for is that Miss Anderson would put All her Kindred Tales Ebooks in Real books. I realy miss the Feeling of a good book in my Hand because of the headache i get from reading from my screen. Thats the only think what is missing in my incompleed kindred books.
Great flip storylines between the 2 sisters leading up to a joint storyline in the end. I felt so sad for Melinda's back story🤧 She has the best sister thou. I was surprised that their mother never made an appearance considering it was because of her man the daughters were in danger in the 1st place🤷♀️ No cliffhanger🤗
Hopefully, the next will be about Naught, the twin kindred👍🤞

This time the scene is earth, with sisters Jodi and Mellie, the Kindred warriors sent to guard them and a couple of nefarious people who wish to harm the girls. The Varians are the least of their problems but the Kindred guys are equal to the task. All in all a good read and an interesting one with 2 tales intertwining.
I'm not a huge fan of both stories at once. In addition, the story line of one of the FMC is similar to another FMC in a different book by this author.
Ms Evangeline has composed yet another amazing Kindred adventure. You'll definitely enjoy the journey two sisters take on thd from life threatening to love.
