Awesome conclusion to a great series. If reverse harem is your thing, this book is a must read.
Dareena is expeting the future dragon heir in the most turbulent of times. With the warlocks plotting against both the elves and the dragons, the royal triplets and their mate stand in front of a difficult task. Bringing back peace without further losses on lives seems impossible, but after the recent deaths in the palace, action is calling. Lucyan even leaves for Shadowhaven on a secret and very dangerous mission, leaving Alistair and Drystan care for their country. However, the unexpected threats come from the inside, and the most affected is Dareena.
Although the final installment in this series was longer than the previous two, I did not mind a single bit. Exciting and suspenseful, I turned the pages eagerly almost without a break, holding my breath for the whole time. I can even say I lived it through with the protagonists. Twists and turns are waiting on every page, and strong emotions flow freely to the reader. I enjoyed every single sentence, every difficult decision, every answered question, every tied end.
But what I enjoyed the most were once again the characters. The leading quartet complement each other in a complex and natural way, their distinct personalities clicking with one another and creating a strong unit that needs to be taken into account. I did not hide my preferences regarding the princes, since Lucyan suited my tastes the most, but I truly appreciate the mastery that shaped the other three as well. Add in the steamy scenes that break every taboo, and you have it.
Honestly, I cannot imagine a better way to close a trilogy. Best book being the last, and it makes you feel like wow, what a ride.

Dearest Gentle Reader,

I come before you today to reflect on Lady Jasmine Walt’s Dragon’s Gift trilogy. These books were filled with adventure and intrigue - three kingdoms at war with each other, each one containing popular fantasy elements: Dragons, Elves, and Warlocks.

If you are looking to expand your fantasy journey after spending your blissful time within the complex worlds created by Sarah J Maas, Rebecca Yarros, Sarah A Parker, or Penn Cole, then I must urge you to *NOT* read this trilogy. The style of this story in no way compares at all.

If you are looking for a romatansy series that is not at all complicated with weak problems that come with even weaker solutions, this trilogy will be right up your alley. This author, even after dramatically lowering her standards and expectations, had a difficult time churning through until completion (Although our heroine Darrena certainly had no issues coming to completion while with her 3 handsome princelings for a majority of the book). The plot itself held great promise - but the execution was weak.

Overall, if you want a dragon series that is not at all serious but is easy and quick to read (Our princelings had no qualms about Dareena’s pleasure being quick and easy), this may be a good series for you.

This author awards the overall satisfaction of 3.7⭐️ with 5 out of 5🌶️ for the amount of smut contained within the pages.

Yours Truly,
Lady Nichole

This was a great end to the third and final installment in the Dragons Gift Trilogy. There was a lot happening in this book, and sometimes I felt a little overwhelmed and anxious from being pulled from one thing to another, but being as the author was trying to create new excitement while wrapping up old drama I felt that it worked out perfect. Bouncing between 4 MC POVs has to be a hard win for any author and although I felt overwhelmed at times it only added to the excitement.

2.5 Stars for the series

For me this series felt a little bit simplistic. I am not sure if simplistic is the correct word, but I can’t think of any other word to explain my frustration with this series. These characters had the easiest lives. Don’t get me wrong, their struggles had substance but they were resolved in the most convenient way possible. IMO, none of the MCs had to work for anything, everything seemed to literally fall on their laps. Most of the time, I felt like, that was too easy, there must be a catch. But nope there were no catches, no surprises, no plot twists, nothing. Just the MCs that felt like the luckiest people in the world. Hence my frustration, because, why throw all the curve balls at them if there is nothing interesting about how the balls are caught or dealt with?

Here are some of my frustrations, in no particular or, not even the order that they happened in the books.

Etc, everything falls on their laps, they don't have to work for anything. It makes for a really boring book when all a main character has to do is whine about a task and the next thing, fate gives them exactly what they want, in exactly the right way. Even though their enemies, who have more resources, more soldiers and more experience can’t seem to get anything right or any success in their evilness.

Its frustrating how difficulties, paranoias and obstacles are placed at just the right amount that our MCs and their friends can just sail through them without any hiccups. Simplistic and very convenient for the MCs.

I enjoyed that the series had a great story line & it followed the same characters through 3 books. Tons of characters to keep up with but the story was good so it was worth it.

Dragon’s Curse by Jasmine Walt and May Sage is book three in their The Dragon’s Gift Trilogy. Dragon’s Curse, picks up right where book two leaves off. Taldren, cousin to the princes, has been murdered and Basilla has been abducted. The false oracle and another warlock captured have also escaped and it is learned that someone on the inside has been aiding the enemy. The pieces are coming together all around, and the dragons and the elves are finally seeing who the true enemy is. Now with the abduction of the elven Princess Basilla, and her being taken back to Shadowhaven, they must act fast to save her from whatever horrible fate potentially awaits her. With the aid of their sinister spying, the warlocks know that Dareena is the key to bringing down the dragons for good. She must stay alive and be able to bring her baby into the world if the curse is to be broken. The threats are real all around them, but now the focus has shifted to the correct source of danger, and the dragons and elves are intent on ending the warlocks’ reign of terror.
Dragon’s Curse, for me, is a slow burn in action compared to book two. The storyline moves quickly, but there is more plotting and planning in this book than action. Of course there is a lot of steamy sex that will leave the glass fogged up. Book three takes place in two locations – the dragon lands and the warlock lands. The dragons know that they must learn what it is that the warlocks know and strike first if they are to win this subtle war that they are waging. As Drystan, Dareena, Lucyian and Alistair learn the depths of how deeply they have been infiltrated they quickly take steps to expose the other spies. The threat on Dareena’s life only intensifies as the fate of the dragons rests on her survival and the survival of her baby. There will be close calls, and quite a few surprises that are in store. Where one is suspected, another will be proven guilty. Where they once believed they were safe, they will find that the enemy is literally in their midst staring them in the face.
There honestly isn’t much that I don’t like about this book. The only thing that I have an issue with is Drystan when he chooses to allow his temper to get the best of him in a situation that should have been crystal clear to him. I feel like he flies off to quickly with his temper instead of stopping for a moment and really looking at the situation. So much hinges on their success and he nearly throws it all away because he wants to be a hot head.
This book has a steady pace and the action is sporadic but the drama is there. The drama is intense and the danger is intense. There is danger at every turn as you follow along with the characters as they race to learn who the real dangers are. We get to see the land of the warlocks and how advanced they are. We also see how cruel and heartless that they are. The sex scenes only get steamier so get ready for the fun! The authors write in quite a few surprises in this book and I love it. If you are hoping for an ending that encompasses everything at the end…you’re in for a treat because the authors give us exactly that. Like most trilogies/series I don’t want it to end, I want to be able to return again, but I feel that this book is well done.
Regardless, I look forward to reading more from these authors whether it’s individually or another collaboration. I am rating this book 5 out of 5 stars. The authors have done a fantastic job with this story and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this series, and being along for the journey with these amazing characters. If you have come this far in the series, then by all means, grab this book dive in and enjoy. It is worth reading 100%.

The last book in The Dragon's Gift series and I enjoyed it just as much as the first two. The story is bought to a great and resounding ending. There are some shocks and some edge of the seat moments along the way which all adds to the enjoyment of what has been a well crafted story. Each book has had some new characters added, and in this book we also see some previous characters reappear. Again the four main characters, Dareena, Drystan, Lucyan and Alistair spend a lot of this book apart from each other, but each of them have different tasks and adventures to complete to ensure they win the war and break the Curse.

I very much enjoy reading both of these authors previous works that they've written separately so to have them team up and write, what for me, has been a great series, has been fantastic. I think that they both work well together and hope that we will get to see more from them co writing together again.

A fantastic series which I've much enjoyed, five stars for both this book and the whole series from me.

Yea!! More dragon babies!!

Obviously things go well for our four-some and a baby is born. The journey there didn't seem rushed until the end after a spy was killed. Also didn't realize she was a spy so kudos to you ladies for leaving me in the dark, not everyone can do that. I had a naughty tidbit while reading that made want to share. What if the Dragon God was a little less lonely because his oracle was "most pleasing". It wouldn't violate her celibacy oath and some religions consider the holy people married to the godmother serve. Just saying, a good devout woman deserves some heavenly lovin'. *yes I went there*

This series was a decent read. It had it's up and downs where it would lose my interest but overall it wasn't bad. Some cliches were touched on for example the names of the kingdoms...most of the fantasy books I've read aren't very original with their names for kingdoms because if it has elves or dragons you can be sure it's in the name. But that isn't a big issue just small pet peeve of mine.

I'm gonna give this a soft five star. Book series as a whole, golden, spicy, captivating and continually prying your imagination. However I felt the ending to be a little abrupt. Wanted just a little more detail after the coronation

Really intriguing end of really good series!
Dareena was so great MC. I fell for her - strong, thoughtful and BADASS! These authors for sure know their job for their female leads.
Dragon mans went to the shadow here a little. Still, intrigue here was surprising and enjoyable.
If there will be another co-project by these authors I will read it for sure.

Great ending to a good series

Oh how I loved this final book. So much intrigue and scary stuff. I'm sure glad Alistair kept his head on straight when Dareena was under that horrible spell. Beautiful ending of wedding and coronation. For those who flinch at erotic sex scenes, I just fast page through and never lose any of the great story that Jasmine Walt weaves. So glad I found her as one of my favorite authors.

Another exciting story of Dareena and her three Dragon princes! This time they are up against the Dark Sorcerers and a race to keep Dareena safe so she can safely deliver her baby. Their kingdom is in danger and so is the land of the Elves. Dareena's unborn child is the key to ending the curse and almost everyone is working to keep her and the babe safe. It's a great read!!!

Giving this series a solid 2 star rating.

One thing that really ticked me off about these books is that the characters weren’t much of anything. Maybe it was the POV in which it was written but it goes from Dareena the commoner to Dareena the Queen (who bosses people around and sticks her nose in the air) with remotely ZERO struggle or lessons learned or climb to the top.

WHERE is the part when these characters are actually interesting!?!? Because they were all one in the same to me. I mean, Lucyan for example. Total man-whore and after ONE date with Dareena all of the sudden he’s a family man?

The third book was far from thrilling or exciting. I couldn’t even go through it all. I skipped a few chapters just to find out what happens in the end. Newsflash: everything goes according to plan.

These books were just plain and not very well thought out. I’m reading 5 star reviews thinking “wow, these people clearly either have no taste or we did NOT read the same series.”

I am honestly surprised I even got to book 3.

So excited to start something new.

I really enjoyed this trilogy.....

I really enjoyed myself here with Dareena and her men, a fave ? Either Alistair or Lucyan, both were fun and quick witted, but charming and kind and fun,not that Drystan couldn’t be those things as well but to be supposedly the level headed and dutiful one he was a bit quick tempered at times and he lost my respect towards the end when Dareena was taken over by someone and unlike Alistair who looked for the cause knowing the behaviors shown was not that of their kind and very loving mate Drystan disappoints us by not looking past her behavior and taking things on face value .....
While I know no one if perfect I feel someone should have chastised, Dareena ,his brothers someone for his lack of faith ...
Despite all that was going on I would have been hurt if I were her after all we’d been threw for my mate to go soo completely stupid where I was concerned , knowing he should have known me better.....
Otherwise I think this was a wonderful collaboration, some ppl have put down a book here or there point out plots holes but for me ,while this series might not be award winning, ( I don’t know ) I had a grew time and was able to get lost in a great story that make me feel good ;)
And at the end of the day isn’t that what we all want ?
Especially when we can have women who have a good head in their shoulders full of common sense and intelligence and know to use it ? And are never any ones doormat ?
Men who enjoy being faithful to their woman,a woman who is blessed with soo many sexy and interesting men,a decent amount of sex but balanced out with a good story ?
Ok,I would have loved more moments where Dareena was with her man or men where we got to see them doing something together growing as a couple besides sex but still a good series I’d highly recommend.....
Sadly too many of the newly popular RH sub genre are either incredibly slow Burn send it around teenage girls and no offense but being over 40, while I still enjoy having a teddy bear, the occasional bowl of Cap’n Crunch and I love me some Phineas and Ferb at times and recently feel in love with Milo Murphy ( any thing that can go wrong will, lol, and voiced by
"Weird Al" Yankovic ) any way, while my inner child is happily alive and well, neither of us really enjoy reading about the love lives of teenagers ,especially ones in a RH ....
I honestly don’t understand an RH revolving around someone who is still basically still a kid.....
Even if they are still “mature” for their age, and even w/a harem there doesn’t have to be a lot of sex ( even though I’m sure we’ve all come across many supposed harems who just seem to be not soo much a story as and excuse for just one sex scene after another) a 17-18-19 to even 21 year old with 3-4 to 5-6 men lusting over them just seems silly, especially since the majority of the RH themed books are mostly paranormal in nature and the heroine could be 100’s of years old when suddenly the need to have soo many men arises ...
While naive virgins aren’t really my thing, a naive virgin w/a half doz. men chasing after her is just plain silly....
Any way ;)
Sorry for digressing ;)
Fun series , I’d recommend giving it a try, especially with KU..

The negotiations with the elves didn't go well and during the confusion in the Elven court, Dareena, Alistair and the younger elven prince and princess escape Elvenhame.

Back in Dragonfell, it is time to fight back the real enemy.

The warlock influence in both kingdoms is evident.

When the elven princess is taken from the castle, it is just the tipping motive to force them to make a move.

But they have to be careful.

Warlock magic and technology is sneaky and powerful.

One can never know where it is safe and who to trust.

Spies are everywhere.

With Dareena pregnant and a prophecy claiming their baby could be the end of the curse, the need to protect her from all who seek to see them hurt and the fall of the dragons is essential.

Ryolas and Lucyan offer themselves to go to the warlock kingdom, spy on them and retrieve the princess and anything that could help them fight the upcoming war.

Tariana and Alistair will train their soldiers to make unexpected, swift and fast coups to warlock strongholds.

Meanwhile, Dareena has a wedding and coronation ceremony to plan and Drystan a country to run and rebuild the trust his father destroyed.

***

Notes:

🔸Easy solution

No complications and any problems were resolved quickly and without a mess.
Everything was done pretty straightforward.

🔸Romance: nice enough but not great

Very simple.
No great connection nor a great love story.

🔸Several POV

When the characters split ways, there were several lines of the story to follow.

🔸Easy read

No angst, everything is nice and simple, straight to the point.

As always my complete respect for the author and their work.
No hate nor hurt intended with this review.

Dragon's Blood is the second volume in The Dragon's Gift Trilogy, which begins with Dragon's Gift. The trilogy is jointly written by Jasmine Walt and May Sage, and the make a great team. Dragon's Gift is something of a departure from what I am used to from Ms. Walt. It is written very sparingly, with an emphasis on delineating the characters and their actions rather than the material world around them.

With the second volume Dragon's Blood, the world takes on more color and substance, and the characters unfold as well, true to their outlines in the first volume, but deeper, and richer. The plot too becomes more complex, with frustrating plot twists matched with breakthroughs due to cunning, boldness, or both. The characters become more thoroughly what I am used to from Ms. Walt, which is to say decent, good people. They are sympathetic and easy to like, all the while avoiding worn tropes. The series consists of two threads, one being an erotic fantasy, the other being a classic high fantasy adventure, with unique players and demands. This book builds on Dragon's Gift, raising the stakes, making the game more complex, and ending with all plots and relationships more developed and more substantial. Threat still looms over all and the storm front builds.

I had the privilege of doing beta reading for the next book in the series, Dragon's Curse. It too builds from the preceding book, and some very dynamic plot twists wrap the story up in a dynamic, surprising resolution. I think every aspect of the series improves as the books progress. The series is recommended for those who enjoy the writings of either of these creative ladies, fantasy romance, erotica, or dragons and their politics.

Well done, Ms. Sage and Ms. Walt!

I listen the audiobook for this review.

Dragon's Curse by Jasmine Walt is the thrilling conclusion to The Dragon's Gift Trilogy. This urban fantasy romance series is set in a world where dragons exist and are bound to their king. The story follows Dareena, a woman who discovers she is the Dragon's Gift, a rare woman who can bear children to the dragon king.

In Dragon's Curse, Dareena is pregnant with the dragon king's child, but her life is in danger. She is hunted by those who want to use her and her child for their own purposes. Dareena must rely on her strength and courage to protect herself and her child.

Walt has created a rich and imaginative world with complex characters. Dareena is a strong and independent woman who is determined to protect her child. The dragon princes are also well-developed characters, each with their own unique personalities.

The plot of Dragon's Curse is fast-paced and exciting. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep readers guessing. The romance between Dareena and the dragon princes is also well-developed. The steamy scenes are sure to please fans of paranormal romance.

Estuvo bien.

She knew not everyone in the kingdom would accept them. There would always be whispers about their union, no matter that the dragon god had blessed it. But so long as the four of them were together, none of that mattered.

A great end to a wonderful series!

I’m sad to say this series has ended...would love to see a spin off or two with some of the background characters (Tariana, Ryolas, Lyria).

In the final book of the series, Dareena and her dragon prince lovers continue their adventures from the previous books- fighting the warlocks with the Elves, trying to break the curse, Dareena is pregnant and spies within the palace are trying to kill her. Will they find the spies before they get to Dareena? The stakes are high in this book. It’s fast-paced and contains hot sex scenes.

Should you read the book? YES! I’d recommend reading the series in order as this is not meant to be a stand alone book, nor are the other two in the series.

Please note the meaning of Reverse harem: A group of someone's boyfriends and/or husbands in a polygamous household. Know what you are reading- this series contains adult themes such as; sex, swearing, violence.

*I was given an advanced reader copy in exchange for a review, however, I ALSO PURCHASED the book.

I liked the dragon’s gift series because it it has a great mix of smart mouthed characters, an imaginative fantasy world and a seamless development of story lines growing across all three books. I always like the women in Jasmin’s books because none of the ladies are ever written as wilting flowers. Instead Jasmine creates strong independent women who aren’t afraid to own their own sexuality. I also enjoyed how the story and characters in this series have taken a dive into a more erotic and adult fantasy scenarios that increased in steaminess with each book. The scenes were definitely written more with a female perspective on erotica and are in my opinion more satisfying to read then those that are sometimes written by men. If you don’t mind reading a high fantasy with some erotic and explicit sexual elements to the storyline then this a good series to read. I hope there will be a possible spin off series for some of the other strong female characters in the series.

This was the best in the series for me. There was a little more depth in the sex scenes and a little more character development. Character development is where this author struggles. The characters are mostly static. It makes it difficult to connect or care what happens to them. Without that, it’s difficult to stay invested in the book. There is more world building and plot development which made this book more interesting. I still favor two of the brothers over the third. We finally get two steamy scenes with all four of them. They’re not that good. This author doesn’t write sex well. But, they’re better than the others in the series. I only hung in here in hopes that things would get better. But, I don’t really feel this was worth my time. Overall, the series is adequate. But, it just didn’t grab me. I’d give this addition a 3.5. Readers who like a slower pace will probably enjoy this book. It’s well written. The characters just don’t draw you in

The final part of this series didn't quite captivate me as much as I had hoped. The story dives deep into numerous political entanglements, and while it's commendable that the plot threads from the first two parts are being woven together, the narrative becomes quite information-heavy.

A notable development in this installment is Dareena's pregnancy, which intensifies the protective instincts of the three brothers. This aspect, which I had feared in the first part, begins to make her pregnancy feel like a form of imprisonment.

Dareena's character does evolve, though I had hoped for a more significant transformation. She rises to her challenges, and as a consolation for the brothers' alpha behaviors, it's satisfying that she is acknowledged as an equal co-ruler rather than just a living incubator.

A surprising twist comes from Soldian's character, whose development caught me off guard in an exciting way.

The ending is as sweet and heartwarming as one could wish for.

Dragon's Curse is the perfect finale to The Dragon's Gift Trilogy! This book is packed with everything I love—action, adventure, and spicy scenes that keep you turning the pages. The stakes are higher than ever, and the blend of romance and tension is executed so well.

Out of all three books, this one is definitely my favorite. The pacing is spot-on, the plot twists are unexpected, and the conclusion is satisfying. I was especially intrigued by Tariana and the Elf prince—I’m crossing my fingers for a spinoff featuring them because there’s so much potential there!

If you’ve been following Dareena’s journey, this finale does not disappoint. It’s a thrilling, steamy, and adventurous conclusion that ties everything together beautifully. Highly recommend!

Jasmine Walt and May Sage bring Dareena and her princes' story to a close in the final book of The Dragon's Gift Trilogy, Dragon's Curse. I have enjoyed Dareena's journey from commoner, to the dragon's gift, then finally to queen and all that she had to overcome to get there! This book was a little longer than the previous two, but it had much more action, adventure, and twists in it than the others, in my opinion; it kept me on my toes and guessing through the majority of it with all of it's twists and turns. There was still plenty of romance in it and it does have a HEA; however, it will keep readers up late into the night to get to it. Definitely a page turner!

The Dragon's Gift is pregnant with child. The warlocks are spying on Dragonfell. The elven princess, Basilla has been kidnapped by Mordan, a warlock prince. Wanting to assist the elven community in rescuing the princess and solidifying an alliance with the elves, Lucyan and Ryolas, an elven prince goes to Sahadowhaven, a warlock community. There Lucyan, wearing a disguise is selected to be a warlock spy. Meanwhile, Drystan and Alistair are at Dragonfell. While Lucyan is gone, Dareena begins acting strange. What is the cause? Read and discover all of the events. WARNING- Sexual explicit scenes, but the book is great. I received a copy of this book to review prior to publish date.

Love it! Spoiler*****

I love these kinds of mideval books. Even better it has reverse harem mixed in. I love the story and the suspense with the warlocks but theres not a lot of info on the elves or certain details I would have liked. I wish this was made into 6 books instead of 3. Things like how the hallways looked, the journeys should have taken longer, and details on the temples. The last book seemed rushed. Ending was fast , all of a sudden shes under control by a spy then the king is dead and everything is all better and the book is over. :( but I did have a great time reading it and recommend them for sure.
