ASIN B07WVCP2MW moved to this edition.

This things between us started out as purely physical, driven by lust and desire. I thought I knew what I wanted. I thought I could keep myself from falling but now, I can only hope to survive the fallout when he walks away.

I knew he was my boss.
I knew he was my brother’s best friend.
I knew he was a bad idea...

But when he’s 6’4” of solid muscle
And a filthy mouth that has you screaming his name…
What’s a girl to do?
We laid out the ground rules:
1. No feelings
2. No commitments
3. Nobody finds out
In my defense, I tried to walk away.
But the moment I tasted his lips,
My fate was sealed,
And my panties melted.
It was all just delicious fun,
Until it wasn’t.
Now it’s not only my heart on the line,
But his future at the company.
I can’t let him destroy his life for me.
Instead, I’ll break my own heart and walk away.
After all, we never promised each other forever.

I really enjoyed this book. It is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Maddie and Bennet were a great couple. Even though they don’t do relationships, the chemistry between them was off the charts. The problem is that she is his employee and that makes this relationship a big no-no. Will that stop them from being together? You will have to get the book and see for yourself. I don’t think that you will be disappointed in this steamy story.

So at first I was kind of thrown off by how it started. Especially the whole setting of when they first had sex. It kinda just seemed like the author didn't really know how to introduce that. Because as I was reading it I got hella confused as to what I was reading exactly. At first I thought it was some sort of dream and then it wasn't lol but anyways, after that everything started getting better. The story started flowing more and it took me for a ride that I very much enjoyed.
But tbh my favorite part was the ending.

I love that they didn't conform to societies norms, they figured out what they wanted together and for their future and the male lead was supportive in all of her decisions. Even though we live in a progressive world, for the most part people think everyone should get married and have kids. This story touched on the taboo, the expectations of people around us and how we should be able to decide what we want in life and our relationships and have the support from those closest to us. To me this was so important, especially since most romance novels follow those same societal expectations. That in order to be happy you have to fall in love, get married and have kids. When in reality, everyone has their own vision of a happy life.

Anyways, enough with the heavy lol this was a quick and enjoyable read. I definitely recommend!

Maddie and Bennet don't do relationships or commitments. They get together and then find out he's her boss and her brother's best friend. Hot, sexy, steamy! Can they find a way together? Read and find out! You won't regret it.

So this book is another reason why I avoid books with generic titles. The writing was bordering on generic as well. There were just too many loose ends and the fact that the author went way to over the top when trying to stress a point. Anyway, I read the previous book randomly and thought I would see what happened to the sister. She just wasn’t a Libra me character in this book. She was selfish and made rash decisions. She dumped the guys she lives because he mentioned marriage and kids. Pretty much started dating immediately despite “loving” him. He had no idea how to find her and even though it’s only been 3 months, he is also dating. She asks is he has been on any dates and he admits that he was on one that night. She weirdly doesn’t ask if he’s slept with anyone and neither does she. The author doesn’t reveal that through inner monologue either. Being that they were both slutty before, I didn’t know what the author wanted us to think. And honestly as the story goes on she is just a really selfish person. Everything has to be a lost her. He still wants marriage and kids and she acts like she’s interested in that, then later after they are engaged she hunts that she might not want kids. Even later she suddenly states that she doesn’t want them at all. He has already stated in his inner monologue that he really wants to have a family. But randomly he says that he will be happy however as long as it’s with her. The part that really makes her selfish is that she just decides it, doesn’t really talk about it. She doesn’t sit him down and explain that it’s a real life choice. She doesn’t give him a chance to really think about whether he wants them. It’s handled in this weird way where you can tell what the author is trying to do but she just handles it in this fake, overacted kind of way. It makes the character seem immature and selfish (she’s smiling while she makes the decision for them, knowing that he has said he wants kids, and it’s all presented as romantic?) then the author goes on this inner monologue tangent about how great their life is over over the next few months because they don’t have kids. Then they show the couple from the previous book looking frazzled and like they have a less glamorous life because they have a child (another part of the fake overacting thing, because who does that to their own characters to make the nexts books characters look better?) Next we have another inner monologue yang at about her being strong and amazing for not conforming to societal conventions for choosing oh not to have kids. And the whole book starts to feel like one long lecture, and I officially just want to give up. Being slutty doesn’t make you selfish, and not having kids doesn’t make you selfish. I know women from all walks of like and they are all awesome! But this author was trying to hard to write this character to make some kind of a point that she forgot that we are supposed to reading an enjoyable story. And that usually lead characters especially have layers etc. Anyway, long story short just not an enjoyable read.

Billionaire with Benefits

Bennet is a rich playboy who had to be serious at work so doesn’t take much of anything else seriously. He hooks up with women and uses them until he’s bored of them. At least he’s honest from the start about what he wants, when they start expecting more it’s time to cut them loose.

Maddie works in Bennet’s company but when she first meets him she doesn’t know who he is. They have an instant attraction but she doesn’t think she’ll see him again. Well until she walks into her boss’ office for the first time only to realize Mr. Windsor is Bennet. The attraction is still there but she’s determined not to cross any lines....at first.

As they become friends they decide that as long as they’re both okay with something casual what’s really holding them back. Of course how long until they both have to admit they actually do want something more.

This is a wonderful story. You’ll fall in love with the characters as you watch them fall in love with each other.

Steamy, angsty, sweet romance
Bam! This book gets hot-and-heavy in the prologue and doesn’t let up until the very end, which is sweetly beautiful. Both characters are not looking for a relationship but it appears one finds them anyway.
Maddie who was a secondary character in MY BEST FRIEND’S BROTHER is now waiting for her big break to prove what she can do while being stuck in the mailroom at Windsor Wealth Management. This gig is not very satisfying for a data configuration analyst but it sorta pays the bills. Enough for her to go to a boxing class for exercise. On her first night she sees the most luscious man. They make eyes at one another but that ends. But the next day at work…Yep, you guessed it. The boxer was none other than her boss, Bennet Windsor. She only finds out when she finally gets a chance to prove she can do more than handle mail when she is called to his office with the reports she generated for him.
Loved this book. It has everything: sweetness, lots of steam, angst, obstacles to surmount and a wonderful HEA. It comes highly recommended for lovers of work related romance.

Holy crap, Alexis Winter has done it AGAIN!!

Maddie decided awhile ago to protect her heart by avoiding relationships. She convinces her bff, Jazz, to go with her to a kickboxing class and after seeing one of her instructors she starts to rethink things until she finds out who he really is.

I know I’ve probably said this before but Bennett and Maddie are one of my all time favorite couples in a series. My heart absolutely broke at one point for Bennett since I was in his shoes myself.

Alexis, girl you are a rockstar!! I absolutely love each and every story/word you give us. You go girl!! 🖤🖤

Maddie and Bennett meet at a boxing class, she is the student, he an instructor. Sparks fly but before they see each other again, Maddie learns that Bennett is also the CEO of the company she works for and she is the sister of one of his best-friends. The agree to emotions, no one finds out relationship but what happens when they start to have feelings for each other? Fast-paced read with intense chemistry and a story with plenty of twists and turns. I loved it!

Not my cup of tea

I really tried to like this book. I did finish it because I have to finish a book when I start it. I have read books by this author before and liked them, but not this one. I read it for free on kindle unlimited ( thank goodness). I could not connect with the h but could not. The H did everything right, but none of it was good enough for her. She was selfish, and childish. I will still read books by this author. I hope this was a one time thing for her.

Boring

Book was all over the place didn't even realize the main characters had hooked up at first, and to be honest female lead was just unlikable.

I was pulled into this book right from the beginning and that is where I stayed until I had read the last word written. All the time I had my little mini movie playing along in my head.
The emotions that the characters go through can be felt, some of them actually pulled on my heart strings. I did find myself getting frustrated a time or two and I really wanted to smack a few of the characters, but they redeemed themselves by the end of the book. I went through most of the emotions along with the characters, I might of cried a little bit more than the characters. It doesn't matter how many times I read this book I cried at the same places each and every time.
There are surprises throughout the book, some are large, while others are small. Some you may see coming while others you won't, but each and every single one of them is equally as important with in the story as the next. They all play there own part in making the story the fantastic read that it is.
There isn't a single part of this book that I didn't enjoy, I wish I could give it more than five stars as I think it s worth so many more stars.
I highly recommend this book.

it was

Eh honestly I reaLly like it up until she left that was like seriously the stupidest decision ever made honestly I think she is mentally I’ll and thank god she didn’t choose to have kids And honestly that’s good because in books mostly that happens rarely never and I read a lot and anyways the emotions made her due stupid stuff like for that break to last that long and her didn’t go back to him from getting a proper reality check that she needed. That’s basically was her brother even tho he accepted he didn’t seem he supported the relationship and her decision like she did with his relationship to her best friend and I think her brother is what she needed to go back earlier than she did and not some reality check that is really realistic either oh I left my love of my life and he comes back and saves me from a really bad date and honestly after that I kept reading this book but lost instinct on reading this but I still did and honestly I probably would not recommend due to everything I stated above.

You can be my billionaire with benefits any day of the week!

Oh la la! Bennet can be my billionaire with benefits any day of the week! It was a beautiful and well written story from start to finish, throw in the LOL moments, the witty banter, the meddlesome family and friends and you won’t know what hit you.
There attraction to each other was instant, yet undeniable. Yet they set ground rules from the get go so as not to hurt each other.
As they continued to engage with each other, there feelings for each other changed and together, they decided they wanted more.
But, Madeline, feeling the weight of their relationship, got scared and broke things off, but after some time apart, they circled back to each other and got there second chance.
And their happily ever after was heart warming, and those steamy scenes in and out of the bedroom were deliciously wicked, oh so steamy, dirty, naughty, hot, wet, passionate and wild.

At first I thought it would be like any other billionaire romance book that i've read so far, but I really liked how the author portrayed the female charakter. She wasn't the typical dumsel in distress kind of girl and i really liked that about her. I also liked that she really was that throught the book, even in the end, she wouldn't change her viewpoints on life for anyone. The characters and the plot had so much potential but i feel the author rushed so much of the main plot that nothing really felt right or finished, in my opinion. Especially in the first half of the book. It was very fast how the rekationship between the two characters developed. I first thought that i skipped a few chapters by accident because they seemed so close already. And I truly can not explain the first sex scene between them. I was just confused. All in all i liked what could have been an interesting and different romance book but the execution of the storyline was terrible.

I have mixed feelings about this story. I'm not sure if it's Maddie or Bennett but I didn't quite like one of them. (LOL) I think maybe this story took a little too long to get to the point of the story.

Madie and Bennett met at the gym and were instantly attracted to each other. I think my disconnect came because 1) Maddie didn't knownher brothers nest friend from college and 2) Maddie nor Jazz knew who their boss was???? Also, as Damon's fiancee wouldn't Jazz know his good friend and boss???

Then all the drama with her being found out and accused of sleeping with the boss. That was kind of cliche and Maddie falling on her sword and completely ignoring Bennett when he said he'd drop everything for her.

The heat level was 🔥🔥🔥. Not a bad story but itcwas missing something for me.

Maddie and Bennet

This is the story is Maddie and Bennet. Both had the same point of view: no commitments. She met him during a boxing class and the connection was obvious. The only problem is that none of them knew at that moment that both worked at the same company. She worked at the mailroom and he was the CEO of the company.
There was not possibility they met at work. But destiny had other plans and she had to prepare a report for him and deliver it by hand. What a surprise when they saw again under different circumstances.
Really nice story and I loved the characters.

Consistent

Billionaire with benefits was a good read. I found myself more drawn to Bennet in this novel. Maddie and Bennet had an intense relationship. I found Bennet was more willing to compromise. The storyline was good for the most part and the sex scenes were decent. The weak heroine “always” running away the moment some went wrong was one of my least favourite parts but it added to the intensity of the storyline. Though it wasn’t the traditional HEA this I enjoyed reading it.

I loved it. This is a part of a series but could be read as a stand-alone. Maddie and Bennett just clicked. They’re both fly by the seat of their pants, they want to travel, enjoy life, never get married or have kids and never settle down. Well that is until each other. Unlike anyone else they’ve been with, these two click from the moment they see each other. But he’s her boss... and that causes issues. There’s a battle they have to fit to get to their HEA on the other side. It’s so worth it.
Great book and addition to this series! I loved it!

Wow! Never seen an ending like this!

Thank you for not having Maddie be all about babies, having his baby, a surprise baby, baby makes everything perfect! Some of us need the real deal even in a fantasy. The characters were awesome. Sex off the charts. And their love for each other and their family was enough without throwing in an offspring. Hope they don't change their view in My Boss's Sister!

Meh

This book was not written well. Choppy storytelling... went from one chapter no sex then jump to having sex in the gym shower. Missing details. Another thing that drives me nuts... they were having sex in the limo and Bennet was excited she had no panties on. Then two paragraphs later she was pulling up her panties. There were several issues like this... just felt this book was one dimensional... it could have been a great book if editing was better.

Contentious romance

Billionaire with Benefits is the second book in the Alexis Winters series Make Her Mine. This one is about the romance between Bennet and Maddie. Maddie wants to keep it all a big secret because she doesn’t think her brother Damon, who is also Bennett’s best friend, will approve. Of course this blows up in her face and just keeps getting better from there!

Buena historia, buenos personajes.

Good book, missing chapter

I enjoyed this book. The characters are sweet and there are some nice steamy scenes. The one thing that threw me off was the missing chapter (or chapters) before the main characters had sex the first time. It went from them on a slow simmer at the end of one chapter, to them in the middle of sex. It was confusing (I thought it was a dream sequence because it was so unexpected). The rest of the editing was great and an enjoyable read!

I havent read the first book but you can read this as a stand alone so its fine. I really like this book its probably the only one I’ve read that wasn’t all about having babies at the epilogue which was a really good thing for me. The characters weren’t pushover as well and they developed together quite nicely

Maddie doesn’t really do dating and those she has aren’t really for her. She meets Bennett at the gym and hit it off but she is shocked to find he is her boss and hers brothers friend.

Not really for me. I wasn’t invested much in the main characters and she was annoying

I won’t read on in this series but I have enjoyed other books by this author

Bennet + Maddie

If I could give more stars I would. This was such a great read I didn’t want to put it down. Watching the two of them mature and grow throughout the story was beautifully done. Highly recommend reading if your looking for a good romance with a strong female and alpha male who only decides to bend when he meets her.

Wow. Thoroughly enjoyed this book, so much.

First off, they’re both mature adults, accomplished people in their own rights.

Loved Maddie’s character, she knows who she is, what she wants from life, unashamed & unapologetically herself.
I loved that they were both realists, not living in cuckoo land and sleeping in a bed of roses.

Can’t fault the entire storyline.

Loved it.
