The Littles books are wonderful, so I was delighted to see editions for younger kids. The Littles are a little like The Borrowers, only for younger readers. The stories are cute.

The Little's are anxiously awaiting the birth of a new family member. A big blizzard eliminates the chances of a nurse to come and deliver the baby, but the cat is there to save the day. The other family members ride on top of the cat and go get the nurse, just in time to deliver the newest member of the Little Family.
