A lot of cute projects to make for your home. There's a bit of everything - soaps, potpourri, candles, sewing, crochet, handmade body products and cleaning products, drying herbs, drying flowers and creating wreaths.
There's sure to be a bit of something for everyone. However it is a bit heavy on sewing projects, perfect if you are a sewer.
There's lovely photographs throughout the book. Its a great resource with easy to follow tutorials.
My favourites were the drying herbs and flowers, floral wreaths along with candle making which I want to try sometime.
This book was so pleasing to the eye. The color scheme was great. The DIY projects seem very cute and practical. I will say that some of the instructions confused me, as someone who hasn’t sewn anything before. This is clearly meant for someone who already knows a thing or two about sewing. Not a problem for me though, as I was mostly interested in the soap and body butter recipes.

Unfortunately this is a library book that I really want to buy. Super Cute! Lots of inspiring projects that are doable for my range of skills. Some are projects I have done before but with different takes or ingredients. Pretty Pictures. Overall just a really cute book that is worth purchasing. I am going to put on my Wish List.
I enjoyed this book and how easy she describes everything in it. I look forward to trying out some of the projects in the future. It provided inspiration and new ideas for me!
This a great resource for simple and homemade living. I like that her tutorials are straight-forward and easy to follow. I’m looking forward to making several of the projects.
I love the farmhouseonboone! Lisa offers what seem to be simple DIY’s to make your home less toxic. I bookmarked several of her ideas, and can’t wait to try them!
