I thoroughly enjoyed this series. I read through all 7 to find out that I had to wait MONTHS to get the final book. It is definitly a different kind of time travel series. I would like to see more of where everyone is going.
What a delightful series of novels. Lillian Earton, who started out as a modern young graduate and ends her life along with her parents in a tragic auto accident. But that's just the beginning of her story. She awakens in another body hundreds of years earlier in a world drastically different from our modern era and in a body sick and so different from her previous one. As a near death experience of the host she has reason to be different and how different can she be. From a frumpy cow forsaken by a husband who stays away and only visits for a brief conjugal visit she is then left to for in a remote estate in the care of inept and thieving scoundrels at the mercy of would be assassins. How does she ever change - to a loving stepmother to a sweet daughter, a vivacious and disciplined beauty, and exceptionally bright inventer (of course with ideas hundreds of years ahead of that time). She becomes an oddity for a woman of that time and extraordinary entrepreneur and manager of their estate. She becomes wealthy making numerous friends and allies along the way. She eventually gains admiration, love and respect not only of her husband but many nobleman and women of several countries. She is a healer and breaks all the molds of females of that era. She is a fighter and a wise woman just to survive her many trials. Heart warming, imaginative, and action filled. I'm almost sorry give read it all. Wish there was more. Great characters and great plots. Sweet beyond compare.
I followed the story through and i have to say this book was disappointing. I loved the story from the beginning but lost interest when richard and angelina became a side story. The ending left much in the air.The previous ending from book 5 at least gave glimpses in the future. This was just they are all back in Ativerna the end.

Lillian is a no nonsense highly capable woman that takes charge when she can make difference. Tragedy hits Crown Prince Richard and the unexpected comes upon Priccess Angelina. I like the action, humor, and romance. I like watching Countess Lillian Earton bulldoze know it all males with her ability. It may be influenced the Virman bodyguards standing behind their Lady or her husband's sword by her side. This has been one of my favorite series. I hate to say good bye to these characters and wish there would be more books.
This book is outstanding and the story is completely captivating. The characters and storyline are really interesting and their story is very well written. I'm just sorry it has come to an end. This writer has created humour and intrigue throughout eight books without being repetitive or allowing the stories to lag. She has kept me interested throughout the journey and I'm sure I would continue to enjoy being involved in these characters lives no matter how many more stories she told. My thanks to you. This was an awesome ride!
Luna J. Potter has created a brilliant world with these books . I can't stress enough that even if you don't really believe in time travel , these books have such depth of character and scenery that it gave me chills . The ingenuity and drive of the main character to live and thrive despite her circumstances is amazing ! Even one of two more books wouldn't hurt !?! 😉
So far, this is the last of this series. I’ve just finished reading book 1 thru 8. Obviously, it’s a good story. A young woman is somehow transported thru space and time, finding herself in a time centuries in the past. In fact, she realizes it isn’t even the world she knows. She uses her knowledge to “invent” items to make like easier and to support herself and her people.
The books are self published, which means the author gets leniency. There are occasional uses of the wrong words, editing goofs, and redundancy. No points taken off, just be aware that they are there.
I have enjoyed every book in this series. What's not to like about a young woman who died in an accident to wake up in the body of someone totally different in a different time and a different land. Every step she took was great reading. I grew to know the characters. So I was happy to find this final book wrapped up their issues so neatly.
Good, however not quite on par with some of the previous volumes
Seemed like certain portions of this volume were rushed through and other portions dragged out. Still a good volume, however I personally didn't find it as mesmerizing as previous ones. Hoped this would be the final volume to tie everything up, but it doesn't appear so.
I didn't give high score since the previous books were so good to me. This was more about the uprising. I was confused with going back and forth to various kingdoms and people. The ending rounded God and a some what happy ending. Lillian was the hero helping the queen and setting up a hospital but didn't seem to be in until the end.
As a fan of time travel stories, especially individuals waking up in another time, this series held my interest all the way through. The characters were as likable or hateful as they should have been and all got what was coming to them.
Outstanding finale to a fascinating series. I am so glad that the author, Lina J Potter, decided to write a couple of more books to get everything finished. Her writing skills are incredible. Okay, Lina, what's next and write faster! ; )
I absolutely loved this series. I wish it wasn't over. What happens next? How does the rest of the story lines then out? To many questions remain unanswered. Hope another book comes sometime soon. ☺
Fabulous series! You are missing out if you have not read it! It has everything. Plot twist, murder, mayhem, mystery, romance, live, sex, politics, entrepreneurship, spirituality, medicine, government, feminism, sexism, reincarnation. Must read!!!
I read all the books in this series one right after the other and they were great! I had to wait for this one and now I just can't get caught back up. I suggest reading the series all at once. I am sure this one would be just as great!
I am a huge fan of time travel romance novels. This is a great one! It is a wonderful story that makes you interested the whole time! Every time a new book comes out I re-read the entire series! It's fun!
The series was very interesting and not the lest bit boring with a lot of twists. Truely enjoyed it but don't stop and jump to some thing else and then come back to it, you just might forget the characters. I did that and had to reread a volume to get back into the scene. Well done
I finished each book in days. A real page turner. I would recommended this series to anyone with an imagination and who sometimes just want to get away.
I liked the first book in this series the best. This book (#8) was all about war. I don't like books about war and fighting. It was a disappointing ending to a pretty good series.
After all the stopping and starting with each succession of the series there is finally an ending. Lily arrives back home safely with a surprise for Jerrisson..
Fantastic close to a non-stop action adventure filled with intrigue, romance, creativity, ambitious characters and humour. I loved this series from beginning to end.
