I gave it 3.5 stars

I have very mixed feelings about this series.

On one hand, I really enjoy the plot line as a whole. I think it's unique, and I enjoy watching the characters get out of each situation they find themselves in. Then on the other hand, the books are too short and I always feel like situations needs more information to make them whole. It feels like we get the bare minimum and I WANT more information or story development to happen.

SURVIVOR had so much going for it. Lots of action, sexy time when it made sense, and a nice amount of danger. What it lacked was a well rounded ending. I felt like it was again the bare minimum to end out the series. I wanted more out of the major showdown to end Marick and his obsession with Rogue. I really like the pirate aspect of the storyline, but I don't feel like it was ended, I feel like Cassidy put a pin in it. Rogue and her men DID seem to get there HEA, but I really wanted more of the story that got them there.

I enjoyed the overall story of Rogue and her men. I would read it again, but I wish we had gotten more.

This book is part of the Planet Athion world and Ms Cassidy is a new author addition to the world after the first three original authors. I've enjoyed all the books in this shared world but for some reason Ms Cassidy's books have not resonated with me. I enjoyed the first book. Thought the second book was okay and now with the third book, I'm bored and struggling to finish it. It just don't care enough about Rogue and her men to put in the effort to find out what happens to them as they try to stay ahead of their pursuers and forge a life for themselves. I can't fault the writing because the writing is fine. It's also quite sexy so there's enough steam to keep me going, but I can't seem to get involved enough with the characters to care about them. So between being bored and not caring what happens to them, I finally gave myself permission to stop reading and move onto something else. I tried though. I really did.

Running The Gauntlet

Stuck on a space station, Rogue is hiding in their quarters as her men work around the clock to try and raise enough money to buy a ship and make a full escape from both the Trads and the Athions. Rogue knows there is no time to waste and feels that only she can move things forward as she isn’t afraid to fight dirty to survive. She’s probably not wrong.

Investigating during a brief window of being left alone she finds a series of fights that will earn them a reward and a ship to get away from the vulnerable station.

Once again the plot moves quickly, there is plenty of action and hot and steamy sex scenes and very little character development. This is pure escapism at it’s best.

An exciting and fantastic conclusion to this series of novellas! From book 1 I have been hooked on Rogue’s story and have loved following her and her fellas journey! Filled with action, adventure, danger, twists and turns and let’s not forget the sexy scenes, this sci-fi series is gripping and our heroine, kick ass!

Wonderful ending!

Spice: 3/5

For such small books, you really fall in love with these characters. So much has happened! We get a clear ending with all of the loose ends tied up and a HEA for Rogue finally. You don’t need the other authors series in this universe to understand this series. It would add to the story, but you arnt going to be confused. Highly recommend

I’m not shallow ,I’m selectively deep.

“I’m not shallow ,I’m selectively deep.”
I think would be a good way to describe this “series, that should have been just one book.i
I wanted to like this, and I might have if
If this had been one complete book,( like it should have been) abs if it had had more depth and development.
There was sooo much potential here abs the writer obviously has a good impression but there was too much tell an$ not enough shoe.
Why did “Rogue” always have to be the main one out there risks not her life for everyone ? Was was-she soo willing to trust and abs unwilling to ask questions after all she’d been thru ? Seriously, she repeats the same pattern over and over and over.
Why if she loved all the guys soo dang much did they feel like kinda a family of one hand and just a collection or bed buddies for her on the other ?
This type of book is the most frustrating of all . The kind you don’t love and you don’t hate.
Your kinda indifferent but not quite . This had soo much potential ,I mean it really does but honestly I don’t know who or what Rogue was and neither does she.
She had to kill often in the arena but since it was all about survival she didn’t see it as murder. But this is the truly crazy past when she has a crazy abusive monster, that has greatly abused her abs killed ppl she loves for some reason she has to be pushed to her absolute limits before she kills him.
Why ? Because she doesn’t want to be seen as a murderer .
WTH ?!?!?
Am I right ?
It’s just insanely TSTL . Killing the monster who has abused you and killed ppl you love and just wants to hurt you til you break is just common sense. It’s like if the chick running thru the woods in those stupid clogs or high heels had a shotgun abs could blow Freddy or Micheals heads off. She’d F’ing do it!
Because he knows it’s about survival. It’s not murder when you know it’s kill or bee killed and they’re not stopping til your broken or dead.
I don’t know what “Rogue “ was, a martyr, a moron or a hero.
All three ? A moronic martyring hero ? Not sure.
And Romance ? Not sure, too much happens off page and while they all care for her and vice versa, there was just not enough depth and too much distance to really know .
I mean I know the guys loved her but while she was “with them”, she never felt “with them” ,if you know what I mean.
Still felt like his and hers.
Especially Tide ( pod) and Lore.
We still don’t know what her real name was ,how or why a “infertile” woman works go into heat,( kinda like getting your period after a hysterectomy) or what five ppl are gonna do on a planter w/no other ppl or civilization or homes or structures food etc. when all of them come from highly “ civilized” technology heavy worlds and cultures . None of these ppl are farmers ,or builders or carpenters . What the heck are they gonna do ? How will they survive ?
Honestly? I can’t say the writer has given me a reason to really care, but I am curious ...
I wouldn’t recommend this . A writer I follow did and now I really wonder about her and how easily satisfied she must be.
I wouldn’t call it a romance personally ,the words “I love you” are used and there is sex but this just felt too incomplete on soo many levels . It felt more like a woman and a collection of protective bed buddies that love her ?
Heck ,I just don’t know ,check it out if you want, maybe you’ll see something I did not but this is it for me .
I’m grateful for KU ,because the are soo NOT worth 2.99 a book.

This book is part of the Planet Athion multi-author series and is Cassidy’s third and final installment of her Survivor’s Heart series within that world.

In her first book in the series, Rogue, the story setting is on Vesper V and we are introduced to the characters and get to learn some background on them. Then in her second book, Rebel, the story picks up where Rogue and her rescuers are on their ship traveling to their home planet of Athion. We get a better understanding of the characters and a look at the developing relationships. Then finally in book three, Survivor, the series comes to an exciting end on a spaceport as Rogue and her men fight to be free and live their lives together in peace.

Survivor picks up a couple of weeks after the malfunction that had them abandoning their ship in Rebel, where they have landed on a spaceport and are trying to keep a low profile and get enough money to disappear for good. They guys are working in shifts while Rogue has to stay secluded or risk being captured again, or worse. She is unhappy and bored with the situation but it gives her time to get to know her men better and develop a deeper bond with each of them. When they have an unforeseen setback, Rogue takes matters into her own hands. The guys rescued her and have kept her safe so the least she can do is help out, even if she has to sneak around to do it. She has a plan and it is not going to fail. However, when pirates get involved the situation spins out of control and Rogue will have to risk it all to save herself and her men. Their enemies are not done with them yet as Rogue and the guys risk everything to finally be free.

Just like the other stories in the series, Survivor is action-packed and absorbing from the start. The characters, the scenes, the hot, steamy romance will pull you in and hold on tight. This three-book series was a fun adventure and great addition to Cassidy’s writings. Wonderful series!

If you enjoy Sci-Fi, reverse harem, and just awesome books in general, you definitely want to grab this series and the others in the universe. Starting the series from the very beginning will give you a better understanding of the entire Planet Athion series and each individual author’s series contribution.

The reading order is as follows:

1) Marissa Farrar – Darkest Skies - start of the invasion and sets up the overall plot of the series
2) Lily Harlem – Equinox – takes place on one of the spaceships
3) Angel Lawson – Pioneer – takes place on Planet Athion
4) Debbie Cassidy – Survivor’s Heart series – Rogue (book 1) – takes place on an asteroid – Vesper V and Rebel (book 2) – takes place on a ship and foreign outpost and finally Survivor (book 3) – takes place on a spaceport

* Marissa Farrar also has a spin-off series connected to this world – The Tradrych Strain – takes place on Planet Tradrych

I am sad this series is over, but man what an great ending!

This installment is actually set in another series by multiple authors called the Planet Athion series. Here Debbie has made her part into a three book Survivor's Heart series. Which if you haven't read, I suggest you start with book one, and in Survivor we conclude. Which was so fulfilling to see everything come to such a great conclusion.

Surrvivor happens just a couple weeks after Rogue and her guys had to crash, now she is trying to get enough money so that they can disapear. Which makes it hard since Rogue is still being hunted. If things were not hard/stressful enough we have pirates enter the picture. Can Rogue and her guys get a HEA?

I always expect a good well told story when it comes to Debbie's strories, and i was not dissapionted at all. We all ways get acttion, lots of sexy time, and just a great plot. This series seemed like it was a quicker read for me, but it could be that i just could not put down my kindle. So if you are looking for a great read that has a well thought out plot, action, hard as nails characters, and just a plain good read. Check out this series, you wont be disapointed.

This is Planet Athion Sci Fi Cassidy style and its freaking awsome. Like the first book this one grabs you and holds on so that you absolutely cannot put this book down until its finished. Luckily being a novella its not a long book but unluckily it means that once you finish it you are left completely desperate for the next instalment.

Rouge continues to fight to survive and have the right to a life with her 4 men but along the way she has to not only contend with still being hunted but Maris but also having to survive her encounter with pirate who of course want their pound of flesh from her.

I wont give you any spoilers so you will need to read the book to see what happens next.

Planet Athion is a world/universe where several writers have collections of books and this is the fastest paced book so far to date and one of my absolute favourites

Rogue and her companions are now in hiding, trying to find a way out and disappear in the galaxy, free from all the parties that want to capture her. Nevertheless, it seems the only way out is again through a fighting pit, ran by a pirate. Moreover, both Marick and the Athion government arehot on her heels, tracking her movements and eager to get her. It's time to up the game and make a run for the escape, once and for all..
Fast and fantastic conclusion to this mini trilogy in the Planet Athion world. With a quickly developing plot and increasing danger level (not mentioning the heat level, as Rogue finally got closer to all of her companions),I devoured the book in a couple of hours. Maybe I have found the conclusion a bit too fast, but I still enjoyed the book and the whole series, looking forward to other pieces by this author already.

yer
middle of the story kind of a book but understandable, i can follow the plot enough. i read the VERY first book which helped me get a grasp on things, i understood most of the references and back story just from that. the MC is a altered human female who has been stolen from earth to be a breeder however the bad alien drug made her an infertile warrior instead of a lush breeder but she still gets " heat" cycles instead of periods where she is all about the D.. the books are ridiculously short but do have steam and sizzle, i wouldn't say no to these guys. its worth a read but on the whole probs read the other books, they are probably pretty good as well.

This is the third and final book in Debbie’s Planet Athion trilogy. This one concludes Rouges incredible journey, The path is by no means easy and she and her men continue the fight for survival to the very end, trouble seems to always find Rouge. Marick is still after her, the warrants are still in effect and keeping a low profile is harder than ever for Rouge and her men. We do see some new and unique characters introduced this book, and they play a really interesting role when it comes to Rouge’s survival. This series wraps up really well in the book. While it is not a terribly long book, I was quite happy with the ending and how it played out.

Debbie Cassidy has me captivated from the very first book and I loved the conclusion of the series! I enjoyed the relationships were still developing and advancing with the guys...I enjoyed that they all advanced at different levels! Rogue goes through a lot in this book and it is exciting to read how she gets through this situations. Debbie Cassidy has created an exciting and different world that captivates the reader. It is full of adventure, twists and turns, love and intense scenes! Highly recommended completed series by a very talented author!

What a brilliant ending to a fantastic series! Rogue and her men are still on the run, but after selling the ship they used to escape they don't yet have the funds to get another ship. I really love the new location and introduction of new characters who I'd love to see get a story of their own if that were ever possible, what can I say I have a thing for space pirates! As always the story is action-packed, with a perfect dose of romance between Rogue and her men, and of course, those scenes are hot, hot, hot.

This is the second series from Debbie Cassidy that I have read and it does not disappoint. Trouble seems to always follow Rogue and her crew but luckily they are smart and quick on their feet. Marick is so obsessed with Rogue and will do anything to get her back. (Such a creep) It does get steamy with Lore and Tide finally get some action which is about time. lol Loved the series! Amazing job as always.

This third novella (they must be read in order) was again a perfect blend of action, danger and sexy times with aliens. I really loved The Cogs location and the characters introduced there - definitely wouldn’t be opposed to reading a story all about them even. I never became overly attached to any of the heroes in this series but I liked the way they interacted with strong heroine Rogue. I thought it was a perfect ending for them as well.

This is the third and final book for the series. I was so enraptured by the story that it was done before I knew it. The plot was exciting and the characters were fascinating and complex. Rogue could kick some a$$. If you love sci-fi RH, then this is the book for. I’m sad that it ended and I wish I knew what their life was like after all that... Please?

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.

Words can't describe how much I loved this series (In the athion universe). The author works so well with her descriptions of the world, the creatures, the environment. It's really a fun read. Then you have this hot element of Rogue with her men, and trying to continue their escape. I will admit, I wish that Tide had been made to grovel a bit before being accepted. ;)

I really hope this author does another series in this universe... maybe redeem Braker and the cybornex?

Highly recommend.

Great installment

Survivor is Debbie’s third installment in the planet athion series, it is also the conclusion of her individual arc. I don’t want to say too much and spoil anything but I’m definitely happy with how our mc’s ended up (although I’d never say no to more if Debbie ever wants to revisit)

Truly, I enjoyed the series. The conclusion feels a bit flat and doesn't hold the pace as easily as the other series I have read. It's good, so don't pass it up.

Lots of gripping action to keep a reader on the edge of the seat. My only complaint is the ending. It's a nice conclusion. It's just a bit flat.

What an amazing ending!
Loved this series and this book was by far the best one yet! I love science fiction and RH so it was definitely right up my alley. Rogue, Lore, Xavier, Vex and Tide all have come a long way together and are finally going to get some down time enjoying their victories. Action packed and perfect!!!

Unfortunately the author continues to concentrate on the Reverse Harem side rather than developing more complex plotlines. Continuing with the same basic theme of all her series has become boring fast.
