As a small business owner, this book is like liquid gold. Such great strategies for growing yourself and your business! I found the key points on how to grow social capital, as opposed to solely growing a social following, being vital to success, to be especially relevant in my business. Additionally, knowing how to streamline my business for optimal productivity, will greatly benefit me. There is also great info on customer attraction and retention, optimizing profit margins, and so much more. Very useful read!
Dan Lok is one of the most inspirational people I've ever had the pleasure of hearing speak. His new book, Unlock it, delivers excellent guidance on how to grow and succeed. Understanding his concept of the wealth triangle is key, and learning to master a high-income skill is probably the best advise I've ever taken in business. After reading chapter 7, it was like a light bulb went on, and I can now modify my closing techniques to truly up my game! I cannot recommend this book enough.

I absolutely love this book! Such great and inspirational content about unlocking your inner rock star and becoming more successful. I learned about my archetype and what high paying skills might be in my best interest to look into. I also learned a lot about discarding some of my old viewpoints and reassessing my way of thinking about myself and my potential do more and reach a MUCH higher potential. I am relatively new to Dan Lok and just found out this is his 10th book! I will definitely be looking into this author some more because he certainly had a way of lighting my fire, so to speak. Highly Recommend!
Read all the good and 5 star reviews and believed this book would be really valuable for an experienced entrepreneur with great advice and case studies. Instead Dan Lok didn't provide good examples and this book just consisted of plain motivational text without any examples backing his ideas. The author hadn't even told us his story how he succeeded and how he could charge his customers more and how they reacted.
I was truly disappointed in this book and sadly, but this is the first book from about 30 books, which I read i a row, that I was angry that I hadn't received any practical value.
Dan Lok is such an inspirational man, from a poor immigrant to a mogul, it is truly amazing! Unlock it is just another testament to his ability to inspire others. From cover to cover the book is filled with wonderful strategy, tips, and useful guides to "unlock" your full professional potential. I was blown away at how much I learned! Thank you Dan.
There is a reason why the internet refers to him as Dan THE MAN Lok. Dan doesn't just talk the talk, he walks the walk with his process. I remember seeing him being interviewed on Fox News earlier in the year and him talking about a new book. So glad I filed that away and jumped at the chance to buy it when it was released. This book should a course taught in academia!
This book contain many details in short If you don't like to read every book on topic like success, wealth & focus, etc . You pick this book this give you some ideas about each topic Main thing - it's very good book on Financial freedom genre
Well, there is some value to it, especially with selling and the approach on marketing and sales in general. He works a lot with visualizations or at least, tries it. The key points from the book are: Increase your own value and create value When doing sales have an abundance mindset - Don't take on bad customers - Focus more on high ticket sales rather than products with a low margin. Always overdeliver When trying to acquire customers focus on 3 phases accumulation - conversion - retargeting, deliver value first and then offer your goods. Don't pitch to somebody who hasn't ever heard from you.
I actually wanted to give it only 3 stars but after skimming through a second time to write this short review, I recognized that there are some solid ideas in there. Will probably read it again.
This book lived up to my high expectations of Dan Lok. I have heard his Ted Talks and decided to pick this book up. Glad I did. Learned a great deal and I’m certain I will use the info to push my business goals forward. I would definitely recommend this book.
He's a all time sympathy seeker, then suddenly he throws his card of go and buy his course. I have read lots of books on sales and entrepreneurship but this is one of the worst I found. He is just trying to run a cult and ruin our minds with his unrealistic and in explained nonsense.
This is a good book, but it feels like I am re-reading the content from FU money and then a few bits more. I am 70% done only, but if you haven't read FU money, this is a very good book
Must read for anyone in your organization. His story telling will leave you feeling warm like a 7 ear old at a school assembly sitting on the cement floor Indian style. I'm checking out the bonus materials for more resources. Dan went corporate now no F bombs in this edition not as raw but still Dan.
I feel hugely privileged I count myself hugely lucky I don't claim to be a super original thinker I'm an entrepreneur a synthesizer I take ideas and make them better The name of the game is not getting rich the name of the game is staying rich You don't always have to work harder to earn more money sometimes it's just about commuicating your value better then your competitors When are you the happiest? when you have security you don't worry about the payments that are due next week Stop focusing on success and start focusing on significance Money is nothing more than a byproduct of value creation Don't call it passive income use leverage income Lion tamer story about being stuck in a routine no longer hunting The hardest prison to escape is your mind You Can't become who you want to become because you're too attached to who you would have been I need to get my life off my chest You find it hard to be satisfied unless you are out doing everyone else They mistakenly try to find fulfillment through achievement instead of contribution Jobs get you no where professions get you somewhere skills get you anywhere Upgrade your skills upgrade your income 100 trash can 25 Late fee 150 High ticket skills

Priceless Book… to anyone who wants to know for certain what it means to want to be an Entrepreneur, whether you’re built for it or not, what are the different stages of earning money, the meaning of a high-income skill, and a plethora of most valuable information about the road to building an irreplaceable high value character that is able to provide high value products or services and earn—rather command a substantially high income. Dan Lok is incredibly knowledgeable, and builds his arguments on solid foundational principles. It’s incredible to me as someone who’s read a Ton of self-improvement and business books that I learned a couple of new things that I never read anywhere else. I promise you that you will finish this book as a much smarter person than the one who started reading it. Seven Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ P.S. I rarely do this but this is one such instance that a book is so freakishly good that I order the hard copy in addition to the audiobook. It is THAT good. P.P.S. The entire book is a sales letter—a sales pitch that will guide you to Dan Lok’s Social Media sphere and his layered sales funnels which I highly respect from someone who walks the walk and talks the talk. This is a success model worthy of emulating to some segment of entrepreneurs.
A very cool book indeed, was listening to it in my car. Tbh, contains a lot of interesting ideas. I also like the approach that he took with the audiobook specifically, where he tried to make it like a conversation, rather than a plain old reading. As for the book itself, apparently, im a chained magician, which is an interesting analogy for my life. Gave me an insight into other archetypes. Additionaly, it deepened my fear of any regret that i might have and to act now while i still have the most precious asset, which is time. Furthermore, the idea of scripting your life rather than scheduling it is an interesting concept. Additionally, the wealth triangle is an insightful idea. And finally, success deterrents such as your negative friends, willpower or resolve, fear, comfort zone and more are interesting clues as to why someone might be slowed in their path to success. Of course there are more ideas, but this review would be a lot longer. Overall, a great listen, would recommend to everyone if they want to get shit done, or to know why aren’t they getting any shit done :)
Wish he broke down the wealth triangle down more. A lot more could be said about it. Mark Zuckerberg and Warren arguably have the Wealth Triangle setup going or them.
Also in the high income skills. He lists the skills but he doesn't talk about how to earn a high salary from them. It's not straightforward. A qualified certified neurosurgeon does not need too much instruction to demand an extremely high income BUT a copywriter could easily easily struggle. There's a large variance in copyrighting salaries and salaries probably follow a Pareto distribution where the top 10% earn 99% of the money being paid to the profession.
A very interesting book for entrepreneurs as it gives the readers a deeper insight on how they build and keep financial wealth. Dan Lok went from a poor student in debt to a millionaire, therefore he has a lot of experience which he uses to talk about the concepts he has learned during his journey. Unlock It, the book that unlocks your spectrum of the entrepreneurial world.
It is so great and modern I have no words for this book. I like the concepts of High Ticket Closing and Social Capital. Ans it also helped me to find who I am really and where I am going... A great book from a great person.
It's really a Great book, covering all aspects of lasting success, and even more by trying to find significance behind your success which will make your life more valuable not just for you but for all. Ps : I love the way he writes; 0 boredom.
Loved this book! This book has some really great content for learning about what type of person you are right now and what hung ups you may have as well as what are high paying job categories are in our world today. Aging loved this book!
I found some good tips and tricks in this book to implement in my life. The part about high ticket closing was a little bit too big, but it's understandable if this is Dan Lok's best high income skill. In the beginning I was sceptical, but I realy liked to read this book.
Great book for self-reflection and inspiration for entrepreneurs and business professionals. The book needs an update for 2024-25 since the business world has significantly changed from the date of publication.
