One thing I am always sure of when a Nicole Snow book arrives in my inbox is it’s going to be one helluva story and this was no different. Fuchsia’s story had been a long time coming.

Fuchsia didn’t have the most orthodox upbringing she was created to become a spy, working for Galetron she became something not even she believed she could be but under their reign she was cold and ruthless, that was until she met Oliver, the girl who didn’t know how to feel suddenly did and placed her trust in the one she thought she could only to be betrayed. Now with everything in ruins she’s bided her time fifteen years she had waited to put the final act in place and take back what belongs to her. Will she find the closure she needs and will she ever be able feel love?

This book is exciting and thrilling and the perfect end to this woman’s journey. Do I recommend it, heck yes and I can’t wait to see what comes next from Nicole. 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Every villain has a story. Villains are not born, they are made. Fuchsia has her own tale that led her to the woman she has become.

She doesn’t remember her childhood. She was bred to be a spy. She was a stone cold killer when necessary. Galentron created the monster she became. They were truly evil.

When Fuchsia sees Oliver at a company meeting, she decides he may just be the man to help her take them down. They are both in deep with the company. Finding a plan that will work will be a challenge.

The woman who didn’t know how to feel, falls for the president of operations. Galentron knows all and sees all. The happiness that Fuchsia has found gets brutally ripped from her.

After losing everything, Fuchsia becomes ruthless and unstobbable. It’s been fifteen years and she’s ready to end the man that ruined her life and take back what belongs to her.

A romantic suspense told in flashback. The final piece of the puzzle of the crew from Heart’s Edge. Fuchsia transformed from the woman Galentron created into the woman she was meant to be. With secrets that were finally uncovered and closure as the final nail was put into the Galentron coffin, Fuchsia gets the HEA she always deserved.

Intersperses with Hearts Edge, Montana...nuances of Project MKUltra. Her name is Fuchsia Delaney, before being Fuchsia, she was Patty Brin, part of the Nightjars programmed army of spies and supersoldiers of corporate espionage. A highly trained, skilled and conditioned elite agent with memory gaps. She’s frighteningly intelligent, in control of her emotions. Confident. Aggressive. Fuchsia was created to be a weapon.

Oliver Major, before his Galentron’s C-level role, he was part of the army’s intelligence unit but he knew too much for them to let him resign and walk away cleanly.

Oliver and Fuchsia met when she was twenty-three and he was ten years older. They were together for five years planning a life and forming an alliance to dismantle Galentron and their illicit business activities. Durham has plans of The Russian intelligence, to render a bidding war, to render for sale to the highest bidder; lethal fast-acting viruses, chemical agents for quiet natural-looking assassinations and human gene altering.

She was trained as a human weapon. She would be doing what she was trained to do.

Durham assigns a Galentron team of supersoldiers to eliminate him, leaving him for dead. Awakening in a civilian hospital unidentifiable, without a wallet or ID. Galentron most possibly took them to make his death look as thought it was a random mugging. They must have left his body to bleed out, and got called in for pickup.

What they don’t realise was, they gave him the perfect opportunity to disappear, allowing Oliver Major from temporarily existing.
‘I’m sorry, Fuchsia. I’ll be back for you. I’ll be back for our little girl. But for right now, I can’t even share the same country. Canada’s sounding pretty good for a while.
Just as soon as I get out of here and find a way to disappear’.

Before he vanished, Fuchsia found out she was pregnant, they were ecstatic and he was about to propose.

A tip from Heart's Edge (former Nighthawk Leo Regis, formerly known as Nine) enlightens her that a tip from the prison network, instead of serving time in prison, Leland Durham hired a body double...paid him generously so his children could live comfortably and he’s about to vanish permanently. She is on a risky mission to cut off the head of the snake and to discover her daughter’s whereabouts, details that Oliver has access...the daughter they falsified as stillborn.

Durham’s team fed all the profiles of former Nightjars and Nighthawks to the police as part of their plea bargain deal. Fuchsia stands out, she’s too striking and elegant to go unnoticed. It would take one person to vaguely recognise her profile from a dossier sending law enforcement and they’d be considered accomplices.

Her protector resurfaces after fifteen years.

Time transitions were fluid. I wanted more of a glimpse into their future.

Wake up, Kickass, Repeat...

Fuchsia Delaney is a one of a kind female. She is a force of nature, a beauty with brawn and a woman with brains that would rock your world.

The only person who could mellow her roll was Oliver Major. Oliver was brawny, strong and fearless but oh so delectably gorgeous. He was her protector even though Fuchsia did not need protecting whatsoever. They connected on so many levels. But then he vanished into thin air and left her hollow inside. Fuchsia was on a mission for vengeance and blood with no survivors. Galentron took so much from her and now they were going to pay.

I was so thrilled that Nicole Snow wrote her story. I knew there was so much more to learn about this woman. The suspense was off the hook exciting and had me on edge from the very beginning.

This book,,,, WOW!! Such an emotional rollercoaster ride!
Fuscia Delaney will tell you she's no heroine, she'll tell you she's a cold hearted woman, but, let ME tell you about her, everything you think you know, YOU DON'T!
In all the other books in the Hearts Edge series, there is one major thing in common. And that is that Fuscia Delaney is an evil person, who makes it very easy to hate. And man did I hate her!! But after reading this book, my heart broke for her, and by the time I finished this one, I was rooting for her! She's a total BADASS, and loyal to the core!

Loved this book. Fuchsia was such a great character and even though she is a villain, it was so nice for her to finally get her story. Oliver and Fuchsia was so good together. They had such great chemistry and attraction. This story had everything wrapped up in one book and I loved it. Loved this whole series. Can’t wait to read more from this author.

It takes a talented writer to present a reader with the villain of a series and to get them not only interested in the story, but also to end up rooting for the villain to have her HEA. In this case that is… Fuchsia Delaney. If you have read the last few stories in this series then you are familiar with this woman. She seems to be heartless, mean and determined to in her role as villain.

I have always been a sucker for the anit0hero, what made them tick and their thought process behind their choices and actions. The author does an amazing job here if allowing the reader behind the scenes and into Fuchsia’s mind and heart to really see who she truly is. I ended up rooting for her in every way. She is way more then we have been presented before. I really enjoyed this journey.

A second chance, revenge, truth are all presented in this story and it was a killer story. I had a jaw dropping moment or two and I loved the roundup of the entire story line and characters that were revisited. What a way to end this series with the redemption and heart felt story of the villain. I want to talk about everything but don’t want to give things away. I will just say I am beyond happy with this story and I think the author did Fuchsia justice; much more than I thought possible. I know there are other characters in this story but I really connected with Fuchsia and found myself in aww of her strength and determination; such an amazing character. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.

Finally Fuschia's story

Fuschia has shone up in many books. Finally we get her story and why she hates Galentron so much. I found myself feeling sad for her. I also think I would have been just like her if I had her training. Loved this book!!

Having read and enjoyed No Damaged Goods, Snow’s previous book in her Hearts Edge series I was looking forward to returning to the small town of Hearts Edge Montana and learning more about the mysterious Fuchsia Delaney who was mentioned a few times in that book as a shadowy figure that no one was really sure whether she was a good guy or a bad guy. Most of this story does not actually take place in Hearts Edge, but the author does include the town as a place where a small part of the present day story occurs and the town and its key residents are present in real time and flashbacks often enough to link this book with the rest of the Heroes of Hearts Edge series. This story covers Fuchsia and Oliver’s life over a 25 year span from when they first met until 5 years into the future. The author uses multiple flash backs in time so we can see the 23 year old Patty Bern evolve into the now 43 year old Fuchsia Delaney. Even though that does the trick of allowing this book to work as a standalone, I myself was still left wanting to understand more about how Fuchsia’s role in taking down Galentron left her feeling responsible for much of the trouble that occurred in Hearts Edge. The first couple of chapters introduce us to Fuchsia our heroine and Oliver Major our hero. If I’m being honest here, I thought the way their characters were written at first as such over the top stereo-types I suspected this was supposed to be a tongue in cheek spy story. What it ends up being is a mishmash or amalgamation of multiple action stories from The Bourne Identity to La Femme Nikita etc. But it works.
Fuchsia was inducted into Galentron’s (an international defense contractor) newly created Nightjar program as an orphaned child. She was trained to become a soulless industrial espionage agent and skilled assassin. Fuchsia rises to the head of her class. Despite all of her training and brainwashing she has developed a conscience which leads to serious concerns about Galentron’s goals and the missions she’s sent on. One day she meets Oliver Major the twelve years her senior operations manager for Galentron, In him she senses a kindred spirit no longer comfortable with the direction of the company he works for. Major is a former intelligence officer (spy) for the U.S. military. Fuchsia and Oliver spend five years in a casual, undefined sexual relationship dreaming and plotting as to how they’ll take down and leave the company. But because they can’t agree they fail to act. In the meantime Fuchsia continues to go on missions creating quite the body count despite her concerns and moral objections to what she’s doing. Fuchsia discovers she’s pregnant and wants to keep the baby. Shortly after she informs Oliver of her pregnancy and they begin makong plans to leave Galentron, Oliver disappears. She’s later told that he was killed protecting Durham, Galentron’s head from an attack. She delivers the baby but the company’s doctors tell her it was still borne. Even though she was heavily drugged during the delivery she’s certain she heard a baby cry.
As the story opens its twenty years since she and Oliver first met, 15 years since she last saw him. Since Galentrron’s collapse she’s been working as an independent industrial espionage agent for hire. She works alone and has no real relationships convinced her soul is so blackened by the crimes she committed during her time at Galentron that she no longer has a heart or feelings. Wanted by several law enforcement agencies on multiple charges she’s living a life in the shadows. As readers of the Hearts Edge series know Fuchsia along with help from four men who are the main characters in the Hearts Edge Heroes series took down Galentron in a blazing inferno. Once the corporations illegal activities are revealed the corporate officers (the ones who haven’t escaped) are charged and convicted and sent to prison. The head of the company Durham escaped and now Fuchsia is out to find him and force him to reveal what happened to her baby. Oliver who was severely injured in an assassination attempt by Durham’s thugs hasn’t had contact with Fuchsia in 15 years and is presumed dead. He’s been hiding out in rural Alberta Canada working behind the scenes to thwart Galentron’s goals and unbeknownst to Fuchsia assist and protect her. But when he hears Durham the megalomaniac former head of Galentron has used a body double to avoid going to prison he instinctively knows Fuchsia will go after him. He intends to protect her from herself.
At this point in the story I’m wondering why Fuchsia hasn’t acted sooner to verify whether in fact she did deliver a living baby and why she hasn’t pursued finding her child until now? Her child would be 14 years old. I also wonder why Major hadn’t made any atte3.5 Stars

Her child would be 14 years old. I also wonder why Major hadn’t made any attempt to contact Fuchsia over the decade plus they’ve been apart? He’s certainly aware of her activities. Hopefully all will be eventually revealed or I’m going to be very disappointed in this story. Ultimately, why Oliver Major didn’t contact Fuchsia is answered but the reasons she hasn’t sought out answers to the questions regarding her child are less clear.
I’m not going to go too much further in discussing the story because I don’t want to ruin it for you. I’ll say that the confrontation between Fuchsia and Durham that opens the story ends less dramatically than I expected. Once that scene closes the story becomes more of a romance and less of a thriller. Now the rest I’ll put in spoiler form so you can chose to learn more or not.
I found it interesting that in this story the heroine and hero (at least in the present) are
middle-aged. Fuchsia is now 43 and Oliver is 55. By the time their story ends five years later they’re even older. Rare for contemporary romance lead characters. I’m not a huge fan of stories whether in books or movies that include a lot of flashbacks in time but it was definitely necessary in this book because more of Fuchsia and Oliver’s story took place in the past than it did in the present. I thought the ending was rather bittersweet but fitting seeing as even though Fuchsia and Oliver were basically good people and had worked hard to atone for their sins, they certainly had done enough bad things to not get an all blue skies and rainbows happily ever after. But they did get a happily ever after.

So glad we finally got Fuchsia's story, even if it is only a novella. She was always made out to be more of an anti-hero or semi-villian in all the previous stories, so I really like how we got to see her fully redeemed and showed how she was just a bit misunderstood because of the mask she puts on, but also to see how Bad-A she has always been too.

I really liked the overall book, and I loved their romance even if it was super short. My only problems were there were a lot of flashbacks when I feel like some should have just been briefed over. Then again, a lot of those flashbacks made me sympathize with them more and really see their chemistry and love for each other. Another thing was I wish they got a happier ending. It was more bittersweet, and I know it has to do with how deep they were in with Galatron, but I still wish they hadn't suffered apart for so long. I even teared up at some moments because I felt sad for them. Even though they are older, I still would have liked to see them at least with another kid after the first was taken away from them or something along those lines.

Overall, I really liked this novella and how we are finally able to see who Fuchsia really is and her past with the company, which is probably the most devastating of all the books in this series. I'm not a fan of separations, but I love how Nicole always makes them so loyal towards each other even when they are years apart. Can't wait for the next book.

I would have loved for this book to be longer. We’ve seen so much of Fuchsia in the other books in this series that I really wanted more of her story and romance with Oliver. But I will say that I really enjoyed all of the backstory and how things wrapped up for her.

Oliver And Fuchsia's Story Brings Tears And Closure To The Mystery Surrounding Galentron's Deadly Fashionista!

This is book five of the Heroes of Heart's Edge series. Fuchsia Delaney's mysterious story is finally told here. It is possible to read it as a stand-alone, but to fully appreciate Fuchsia's story it is recommended that books two and three in the series are read first. They portray Fuchsia as an emotionless femme fatale with questionable allegiances and motivations. Fuchsia's story is intertwined with Galentron Incorporated, a Seattle-based company which had worked some of its evil in Heart's Edge years ago. The small town is forever changed.

Heart's Edge, Montana has seen more than its fair share of trouble and tragedy. The first four books in the series are about the men that become local and even national heroes. Book two is Dr. Gray Caldwell's story. He once worked with Fuchsia at Galentron's facilities outside of Heart's Edge. His friend Leo Regis, formly a local legend known as Nine, had been part of Galentron's secretive Nighthawks program which was designed to raise and train supersoldiers. His heartbreaking story is told in book three. Fuchsia Delaney mysteriously weaves in and out of these books from time to time. To the heroes of Heart's Edge, Fuchsia Delaney's appearances are a bad omen. With some unexpected assistance from Fuchsia, Galentron finally falls from grace in book three, when the scandalous stories get out and many go to jail. Wanted by the law, Fuchsia has been lying low ever since.

Fuchsia Delaney, forty-three, has gone by many names. She is a product of Galentron's inaugural supersoldier program. Her memories of being an orphan were wiped and all emotion was trained out of her. Her trademark pink candy is a coping mechanism to keep her focused, and her eye-catching style makes a bold statement, reflecting the power she naturally wields. She works in corporate espionage and has a long trail of bodies. She isn't proud, but she has nobody in her life, and walking away from Galentron alive was never an option for her. Plus she had other motivations. Galitron had taken something from her years ago. She needed to know what happened and was determined to keep looking until she found out.

Oliver Major, fifty-five, isn't the man he was fifteen years ago, back when he had hopes of a happy ending with Fuchsia Delaney. The former President of Operations at Galentron was determined to finally take down the company and its evil CEO Leland Duhram. It was the only way out for him and Fuchsia. But he never had that chance.

For fans of the series, Fuchsia's story is a must! Getting inside her head and learning what makes her tick sheds light on earlier books in the series. Her own painful story will bring tears to your eyes. Even Fuchsia deserves a happy ending.

Although little takes place in Heart's Edge in this book, Fuchsia's recent help qualifies her as one of it's heroes - and her story was screaming to be told. Gray and Leo as well as most of the rest of the gang do make some appearances.

Oliver and Fuchsia's story brings tears and closure to the mystery surrounding Galentron's deadly fashionista. The story is well-written. The plot is very complex and carefully crafted. The characters are unique and nicely defined. I rate this book four stars.

Before you dive into No Fair Lady you need to read the books in the Heroes of Heart's Edge book. If you haven't read them I promise they are amazing and you will love them. So many book boyfriends to be had in that series and that brings us to the story of Fuchsia and how she became the woman that she is. This poor woman doesn't remember her childhood at all. She was made to be a spy and a killer when she had to be. Galentron created her and lets just say right here that they are truly evil and she is ready to take them down. When she sees Oliver at a company meeting she knows that she is the man to be the one to help her take them down. But this is going to be a challenge. That is all I really want to tell you about the story. I want you to experience it all like I did. I swear I spent more time one the edge of my seat than I did anywhere else. You just need to get this book and read. You will love it just as much as I did!!

Oliver Major helped build Galentron and paid a hefty price for doing so. Not because of the evil it had become. No, that wasn't Oliver. It was because of what he lost. His woman...Fuchsia Delaney. Now he needs to protect what was once his. Oliver worked on the inside trying to take down Galentron, but in the end he'd failed.
Fuchsia is on a mission. She'd also lost a lot because of Galentron, hell the entire town of Heart's Edge had. Fuchsia wants revenge against every single person who's crossed her and made her who she is today. She's going to bring pain to the one's who've caused her pain. She wants the truth.
No one understands why Fuchsia is the way she is. She hides her true self. Protection drives the pain inside. What you don't show can't hurt you and won't be used against you. She's hard, calloused. That's what everyone in Heart's Edge assumes. If they never heard her name or saw her face again, it would be too soon. Maybe one day they'll realize why it all happened. Maybe by then, it wouldn't even matter.
There's a reason for all the madness. The truth. Fuchsia just wants the truth. And if we've learned anything about Fuchsia, she will stop at nothing to get it.
MYSTERY, INTRIGUE AND ADVENTURE !
We learn a lot about Fuchsia, what makes her tick, what keeps her up at night and what keeps her going. We learn she wasn't always heartless. She had dreams.
You definitely need to read this book! It is crucial to Heart's Edge's story and everyone that resides there. BRILLIANT ! LOVED EVERY PAGE !

Infamous Fuchsia Delaney shows her heart…and in the end, all’s right with the world
This is one outstanding opening to conclude the Heart’s Edge series of books! Love the ending when the whole gang gets one last hurrah too. In this book we find out what events made Fuchsia who she was and why she did the things she did in past Heart’s Edge books. Powerful!
Fuchsia gave herself that name after being born Patty Brin. It identifies her in her new capacity. She won’t allow feelings to get in the way anymore. She’s wily, relentless, vampish, lethal and …kind??? At 23yo she meets Oliver Major, the 35yo President of Operations at Galentron. They have a steamy fling and make plans. What happens to those plans? Why does she crave revenge? To whom and for what?
Oh. My. Word. This was undoubtedly a ride on a bumpy road, in a good way. Ms. Snow goes from past to present and back to help explain things. Honestly, this flashback technique was very helpful. Filled in many gaps. There were steamy moments, scary moments, funny moments, flirty moments and even tearful moments but we do get closure along with Fuchsia, Oliver and the rest of the Heart’s Edge crew.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book and it gets way more than 5 stars! If you have read any of the previous Heart’s Edge books, this is a must-read. Even if you haven’t, you will feel the passion with which Ms. Snow shows us the Fuchsia you would want on your team. I loved it!

There's only one man alive who can tame this Wildcat, but he's been dead for fifteen years!

If you've been following this series, you know Fuchsia as the scary femme fatale that no one can fully trust. It's clear in the earlier books that she's got her own agenda, though it's left a bit vague as to which side her allegiances fall. Finally, in this book, we find out what that agenda is, and exactly what her priorities are.

The story opens up in true Fuchsia fashion, then alternates between the past and the present, and between her and Oliver's POVs. By the time the gunfire starts, we've got all the history we need to know exactly what has to happen next.

It's a brilliant story, captivating from start to finish, made all the more enticing by envisioning the scrumptious cover models as our lead characters. It ends with a satisfying, if bittersweet, HEA and closes the book entirely on the Galentron matter. And yes, we get a Heart's Edge treat as all our favorite residents make a cameo appearance in this book.

This is the book you've been waiting for, and it's more than worth the wait. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

4.3 stars

I have loved this entire series and thought that it was over. Discovering that Fuschia was going to get a story made me very happy. I was curious about how this author was going to be able to make the villainess of the story redeemable. Granted, she did have her moments in the series that she showed her softer side, some of those moments were what made me like her, but it still seemed like a monumental task. Well, she did it because Fuschia definitely deserved to no longer be the villain and instead deserved to know some happiness at what Galentron had cost her.

I do wish the story would have been a bit longer as this felt like it could be fleshed out more in places. I never got the chance to truly connect with the characters the way that I wanted to connect because just as it was getting to that point the story seemed to wind up. I was sad that there wasn't an extended epilogue either (something I adore that this author does). Still, it was a very good book.
and off-topic, This cover is stunning. Exactly what I pictured when I thought of Fuschia.

Remember that horrible woman, Fuchsia Delaney, that seemed to cause all sorts of trouble in Heart’s Edge? Well No Fair Lady by Nicole Snow tells the story of Fuchsia and shows that maybe, just maybe Fuchsia isn’t quite as bad as she appeared to be. This is a short novella that brings the other Heart’s Edge stories together by telling the back story to the one villain we all loved to hate but didn’t know why. Once again Snow reaches in and brings the characters to life and lets us read all about what shaped them into the heroes and villains that they are. Now I can’t give anything away on the story line, but I will say Fuchsia Delaney has a side to her that was not revealed in any of the other books and it just might surprise you. 5-stars for another great story by Nicole Snow, No Fair Lady.

I LOVED THIS NOVELLA!!! I am so glad that Nicole did a novella for our favorite villain that we love to hate. Fuchsia Delaney is not what she seems, she is a product and has been hurt more by Galentron than even the others, and that says a lot, just look at Leo. If you are a fan of the awesome Heart's Edge series, this is a book that you need to read asap, if you have not been informed or read the other books, this can still be read, but might not have the emotional gut punches that was delivered to me. All in all, this was absolutely excellent and loved reading it- 5 stars for sure!

Thank you to Nicole Snow that allowed me to receive an advanced copy of the book to read and review honestly!

Each book by Nicole Snow is different and unique. This one was no different.
No fair lady was a brilliant read.
This is fuchsia and Oliver story. Its a shorter book and I devoured this book in one sitting.
I didnt like fuchsia in all the other hearts edge series.
Fuchia is on the run and someone is trying to find her.
Oliver is trying to track her down.
Fuchsia and Oliver as a lot of history
This was full of action. Fuchsia in the end did grow on me. This was Nicole's best yet and cant wait to read what she writes next.
Highly recommend this book

This is the fifth book in the Heroes of The Heart Series. Although this can be read as a standalone it is recomended that you read some of the previous books in the series. This is Fuchsia Delaney's story and what a complicated devil she is. This book is fast paced and full of action. Overflowing with emotion and no shortage of drama. Oliver and Fuchsia will take you on a romantic roller coaster that takes you over the edge at times. Secrets, a stillborn daughter that cried and so much more. Well written with a gripping story line and engaging characters. After a lot of turmoil and secrets there's an HEA. I read an arc and voluntarily chose to review.

I was totally captivated throughout this riveting tale and this gifted author had penned and must-read masterpiece. I highly recommend for all.
