Join illustrator Nina Cosford on the trip of a lifetime!
Travelling almost 5000 miles by train, her journey begins in Moscow and ends in Beijing, passing through the stunning landscapes of Siberia and Mongolia en route.
Nina Cosford has illustrated several books for children. Her artwork also appears on greeting cards, and in magazines and advertisements. She lives in Hastings, England.
Quel livre charmant! Vraiment bel album!
As a longtime fan of the artist, funding this crowdsource was important to me, and I loved the book. It was such a fun snippet of travel that felt like a curated version of their social media presence. Which I guess it is, essentially. Really made me want to A)go on an international trip and B) go on a train trip. How would I log my time? Not a sketchbook. Writing blurbs? Favorite piece in the book was either the depictions of wood in the carpentry shop or the labeled and number diagram of the room, which is EXACTLY the kind of detail I wish more people would use, because I’m super specific and like it.
I love Nina’s style of illustration, so that was such a great experience to document through her eyes. I wish there were more illustrations of the scenery that she described, as I bet that would have been more appealing to the reader.
