For April I read American Chillers Haunting in New Hampshire by Johnathan Rand. I personally enjoyed this book. I usually don't enjoy reading scary books, i'd rather see a movie, but this book was really creepy and interesting. The main character is Hannah, the main setting is her new house and the main conflict is her finding out what is going on with her new house. She sees a strange white thing out in her backyard in the middle of the night and the doors open and close by themselves and she's convinced something is going on in her families new house and she's out to find out what it is. If you enjoy being spooked then I would definitely recommend this book.

The book Haunting In New Hampshire by Johnathan Rand was a great book.I liked the book because it gave very good tesion risng moments that made you want to keep reading the book.The setting in this book took place at this house in New Hampshire where Hannah and her brother Clay moved into this ghostly house that they had know idea that it was gohstly.As soon as they moved in Hannah started experiencing strange things...ghostly things that seemed to be unoticeable to other family members.Hannah started experiencing walking shadows around the cementary also she experienced ghost siting at her dining table while her parents were outside.Hannah couldn't tell her parents because her family would think she was crazy because they couldn't see the ghosts. She couldn't explain her expeirences she was having with thse ghosts,then one day she told Mr.hooper the owner of the house about thses ghost.Mr.Hooper said that when he was little he couldn't see the gohst but only his sister could,he also said they were memories that previous familes had in the house, the only way to remove these memories was to remove the pictures in the treasure chest.When Hannah looked at the pictures she found out that the people in the pictures were the same people that were haunting her.
I would recommend this book Haunting In New Hampshire to others that like mysteryies or fiction because this is a good rising action book that you will not stop reading.

I really liked this book because the author has you on the edge of your seat. Johnathan Rand acts like he is about to tell you what happens then he adds a twist like "we would find out later tonight" and it gets confusing. He never gave anything away too. Also, he is really good at making you think and adds a lot of twists. But I rated it four stars because I really liked the mystery of this book but he kept saying things over and over about how they would find out later. I would recommend this to people who like mysteries and cliff hangers.

Done by Dwayne Harris, the cover art for this book utterly slaps. Can’t sat the same about the contents of this one. There’s some great atmospheric bits in here and the mystery was the soul thing getting me through the book. It takes the entire book to actually drop the ball—which really sets it apart from Jon’s other books in the Michigan/American Chillers series—and when shit gets going, we get a cool revelation that reminds me a lot of a particular AYAOTD episode/The Haunted School. There’s good elements all-in-all and a great ghost design (the entity on the cover) even if it shat the bed there at the very end. Now for bashing: Jon’s style of writing continues to be bland and unedited, resulting in at least ten errors throughout the book. The book is boring in turn, having dull writing as mentioned as well as being stuffed full of tropes, fakeouts, “you gyata believe me” crap and a ton of ghost stuff that went absolutely nowhere until the ball dropped fifteen pages before the book’s end. It’s way too long for what it is, and this isn’t even a hard book to read. The final kicker with the ghost in the graveyard (not the board game) hurt like a bitch and the ideas in here didn’t get good time to shine, minus the cat. It’s not a bad book but very, very flawed. Overall, 5.5/10. The weakest ‘Chiller so far, but I will continue to read these until I find Jonathan Rand’s peak. The final page references both South Carolina Sea Creatures and Mississippi Megalodons. One is enough since it’s at the end of every book, but TWO? Dudette… fu’ koff.

So glad I got to meet Johnathan Rand and pick up this book. I love paranormal, supernatural stories and this one was amazing. It was very interesting to see how Mr. Rand changed an everyday ghost story to make it his own. Such a wonderful read and I am so glad I started reading these books again.

I love this book. This book is very bone chilling. The part were they look out the window and a ghost floats out of the grave yard is awesome and creepy at the same time. This reminded me of reading about haunted places.
