WANT TO ACHIEVE MORE WITHOUT THE STRESS AND OVERWHELM?

As an ambitious person, I inevitably have a lot on my plate. In just 2 years, I went through pretty much every life change you can imagine. I planned our wedding, got married, moved jobs, moved countries, wrote and published a book, completed an MBA, became a father to my baby son and then coped with his sudden serious illness, all whilst working full time.

I had to be the lion. I created new habits and thought patterns, and reconnected with my purpose to get sh!t done. I became stronger, a master of time management, productivity and motivation. As a result my goals got closer. And there was a surprising side-effect: I became happier and more relaxed.

LET ME SHOW YOU HOW TO SET THE BAR HIGH AND SUCCEED.

I distilled everything I learned into my 4Cs model, which enables you to overcome any challenge.

This book explains the 4Cs and teaches processes, strategies and optimisations to turbocharge your life. This system will help you to achieve more, without any of the stress, overwhelm and fear that often comes with big life changes. This is an inspirational book with many relatable anecdotes. I felt the book could've been shorter, though. I won this in a Goodreads giveaway.

𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

We all face big challenges in our lives and always think of making big changes in our lives. But more often than not we lack the mindset, strategies, processes & optimizations for “Making it Happen.” This book will help you in employing a Lion mindset & will give you all the necessary details of making it happen in your lives.

Be the lion is a way of living. It’s for anyone who wants more out of their life and wants to connect with their purpose and achieving outstanding outcomes.

This book is divided into four parts which form the elements of the 4Cs framework.

Creation
Conditioning
Certainty and
Connection

Part 1 covers the action areas of your life
Part 2 comprises the conditioning of your mind and body
Part 3 covers self-belief strategies and
Part 4 is all about your spiritual connection.

Key features:

One of the most prominent themes throughout the book is trusting the universal energy, the universe wants to help you, but it gets confused when your actions such as where you spend your time don’t reflect what you are telling it. If you keep scrolling Instagram and binge-watch Netflix and at the same time asking the universe to transform your life. Then it isn’t happening.

This book is a compilation of rich life experiences and personal stories of the author’s life which makes the book a little more engaging although this book could have been a lot shorter and still could have delivered the message it was driving home.

A lot of time-tested strategies used by ultra-successful people such as Tony Robbins, Jen Sincero, and Richard Branson have been featured in the book along with a buddle of strategies from the author himself.

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧:
It is about becoming the YOU that you are meant to be. I’m quite sure that you’ll find a ton of good stuff among the pages of this book that you can apply instantly and consistently to get amazing results. Ready to be the lion? Go and grab this one.

(Won this book on Goodreads). A pep talk book getting you to want to make changes and take control of your life and future. I was happy to see not only how to take charge but still had a knowledge of looking up to God for help. It was not he full book but the last of the C’s to help you on your journey. Yes we can take the steps to get there but we also need to listen to our inner self to hear what our purpose is. The information was helpful and thoughtfully laid out for a step by step program to achieve what ever you set your mind to.

I only knock it down to three because this is a book that is definetly meant to be a starter book for your self development journey. I felt there were a little too many stories in his life for this book and it took a while for the author to get to the point. Or if there was a chapter about a subject he spent too long stretching out the idea or the subject of the chapter. On the other hand if there was a subject that sparked my interest it didn't have enough detail in their to fully elaborate his point.

Not a bad starter book for those who want to start on their journey.

Tim is generous in sharing his experience, connecting them to the 4 key sections of the book: creation (action), conditioning (mind & body), certainty (self belief), and connection (spiritual). Language used is simply and plain, and is a good kick-start book for anyone who wants to gain control over his own life.

Inspirational and motivational book. It is good to read.

I felt the first half of the book was 5 stars, the second half 3 stars, it has a lot of not important stuff

Be the Lion: How to Overcome Big Challenges and Make Them Happen is very inspiring through Tim Castle’s personal narrative laced with anecdotes and quotes from the likes of Bill Gates, Warren Buffet and Tim Ferriss. The most helpful part for me was in setting priorities. #GoodreadsGiveaway.

Tim explores multiple themes that will help to drive success. This is an incredibly personalised narrative packed with witty anecdotes that help to direct the reader on how to be more active in chasing dreams. There is strong content on how to schedule and diarise the typical day. Tim put in work on his internal dialogue to turn things around. A great read to start a new year if you are focussed on making changes and making "IT" happen. The book is entertaining and well planned, well worth a dive in 2020.

Great book to inspire you to "Make it Happen"! Filled with some wonderful ways to better yourself and get things in motion. I found the authors personal story somewhat boring however the book is well structured and filled with great quotes and ideas!

A decent read and reminder of common tips for pursuing goals and pushing through challenges. Some parts were a bit longer than I think was necessary, took me way too long to read. Decent presentation and organized in a way to revisit parts easily. Won a kindle copy from Goodreads.
