Amatatsu is a brash, but normal high school student until he wakes up in the middle of doing it with another guy!! To make matters worse, the culprit is his biggest rival, Sen! Is it really possible he's come to a parallel world where he and Sen are a couple...!? In addition to the main story, there are other complicated love stories about a guy with a voice fetish, a boy with a crush on his best friend, and a chubby chaser.
First story, this one was a little bit faster that somehow the mangaka lost the posibility of exprimir más jugo a la misma, the idea of parallel worlds was not so bad, but the concept or clichè about the "I bully you because it's funny, but the trust is that I'm in love with you" is a little bit meh. So, I like Amatatsu and Sen, but couldn't fall in love with them as a couple. That doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the bonding time or the sweet art.
Second one was a little bit cute and awkward, I understand that the poor boy was bully all of his life because of his voice (that don't "match" his aspect), but keep it to himself or just be himself with Yuuto only is a little bit sad and too way dependant. I cannot deny that it was so sweet anyway.
The third story was the sweetes! The two of them was bestfriends, but one day they realize it was more than just a friendship love. And the end! It was so beautiful, truly love in a few pages.
Four one shot, it's a little bit contradictory, cause I love it at the beggining, a sweet love story between a bodyguard and a man in love. but out of nowhere the guy abused of the bodyguard, and it was so wrong, even the end of the story was just like a wtf?
And, at the end, we have a little continuation of the first one, that just show pwp in just a few pages if you enjoy that.
It was not the best, but I couln't say I hate it either, just the four story, cause abuse... but the other ones were a little bit funny, woth cute art and a lot of feelings.
Okay, unpopular opinion, but "I'm Banging My Rival From a Parallel World" is one of my favorite quick-read manga ever. It's THREE chapters long, and yes, although the plot is admittingly cliched and the story a little too short for much character, plot, or world development, I DO believe "I'm Banging My Rival From a Parallel World?" has its charms (excluding the horridly long title) that makes it perfect for when I want something so easy and quick to read that it makes my brain bleed in happy endorphins.
Basically, the "blurb" provided on Goodreads says it all. "Amatatsu is a brash, but normal high school student until he wakes up in the middle of doing it with another guy!! To make matters worse, the culprit is his biggest rival, Sen! Is it really possible he's come to a parallel world where he and Sen are a couple...!?"--Goodreads.
The other stories included (two) are really mehhhh, but I do recommend skimming over this one.
Short story about two rivals turned lovers. The main story is 2 chapters, and the remaining are of 3 other couples that sort of look like them. One of the couples is pure fetishism. They don't even have feelings towards one another. In fact, it's is just one-sided.
The focus is on the spicy content with very little space for character development. If you fancy a short story, that's what this is.
