From enemies to lovers, a modern day woman comes together with a medieval Highlander in a steamy battle-of-wills adventure.

Plagued by dreams of an ancient Irish Stonehenge, Madison not only ends up with a mystical Claddagh ring but finds herself connected to a Highland scoundrel from another century. One she refuses to be destined for. He might set her heart afire, but he also makes her blood boil.

Eager to confront the meddlesome lass haunting his thoughts, Cray MacLeod travels to the twenty-first century only to discover his cousin, Ethyn already there pursuing Madison. He won't be the only one, though. The moment Cray lays eyes on her, he wants her too. She may not be his destined Broun, but he'll make her his regardless.

Unfortunately, wherever he goes, a love-triangle follows. His cousin stands his ground and refuses to back down. At least until a mysterious Stonehenge dredges up Cray's painful past, and only Madison can help him face things he would rather forget. Things that draw them closer to daunting secrets they never saw coming.

Will Madison and Cray be driven apart by what they discover? Or will the heartbreak of their pasts be the key to their future? Find out as the quest to keep Scotland's King David II safe from Edward Balliol and his 'disinherited' nobles continues in A Scot's Resolve.

I wish I could give this book 10 stars!
This story is one of the best so far. It is well written, showing two lives intertwined through many lives, with a special “extra” that no-one sees coming! Steamy hot!
I thoroughly enjoyed the story of Clay and Madison. The storyline also explained more of what the MacLomains, the Brouns, and the MacLeods are fighting for; the destruction of evil so they can keep the magic that flows through Scotland. To be able to glimpse into the future, at the end of the story, made the trials and tribulations worth it! Now I plan on going back and rereading this story. Isn’t it funny how we as adults forget what children can actually see? :-)
Pay close attention because you never know what you might catch onto, while reading this story!

I received this as an ARC, and am thankful I was able to thoroughly enjoy it sooner than later! Make sure to put this on your TBR List! You won’t regret it!

Another book in this amazing series of the MacLomains, Hamiltons etc. In this series our characters need to help keep the young King David safe from the English King Edward and safe Scotland's Independence. There are again 5 Claddagh rings at work, but this time it seems that men and women are reborn from right where it all started in Ireland. Strange magic is at work from the Brotherhood and the journeys of the ring bearers are difficult and full of sorrow and hardship. Sacrifices in previous lives are being relived, lost bairns are found and reborn. The way Sky writes her books amazes me. After all these stories I still can't get enough. Every time you think you know where you're headed, something else pops up and the story enfolds into something else. It is truly a mystical journey you are taken on and one I hope will continue still for a while. There are few series that can hold my interest this long, but this one does. Never mind the hot and steaming sex scenes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Madison is plagued by dreams of an ancient Irish Stonehenge. Now she has not only ended up with a mystical Claddagh ring, but finds herself somehow connected to what she considers a Highland scoundrel from another century. And he's one she absolutely refuses to be destined for. Although he does set her heart on fire, he also continues to make her blood boil.

Cray MacLeod is eager to confront the lass that seems to be haunting his thoughts so he travels to the twenty first century only to find his cousin, Ethyn already there pursuing Madison.
The moment Cray lays eye's on her he wants her as well. She may not be his destined Broun, but he'll make her his regardless.

Unfortunately where ever he goes, a love triangle follows. Until a mysterious Stonehenge dredges up Cray's painful past. Now only Madison can help him face the things that he would rather forget. Now they will be drawn closer to daunting secrets they didn't see coming.

Will they be driven apart by what they discover? Or will the heartbreaks of the past be the key to the future?

Sky Purington is superb. This book is incredible. Once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. It had so many twists and turns that you didn't see coming that you were never sure what was going to happen on the next page. Cray and Madison seemed like they would not mesh, but when they did they became one. It is certainly a book that I would recommend to any reader. Ms. Purington you never cease to amaze me and I can't wait for the next book.

Three's a Crowd

I really liked Madison and Cray's story because of the mental interaction between the two of them. However, I don't know how I would feel about being so connected to a guy that i could literally "see" inside his mind when he was with other women. That would be a little creepy in my opinion. So having a deep mental connection does have it's good and bad points. I was also glad to see the appearance of Grant and Adlin and others from the MacLomain sagas. Ms. Purington is a very talented writer and this is a 5 star read. There was only one thing I could say I would change and that would be the love scenes. I would have spaced them out further in the story rather than all at once. My reasoning for that is to give the reader less of an impression that Cray is just attracted to her because of her physical attributes only. I like the love scenes just as much as the next person but Cray came off as a jerk at first. But I still gave it 5 stars because finally he threw off his jerk mantle.

Another amazing book from Sky!! I don't write my review based on the synopsis of the book because Sky does that for you. I love that Cray and Madison got their story told after getting a glimpse of them in A Scot's Devotion. By the way, grab this book along with A Scot's Pledge so you follow the storyline from the beginning. So grab your book, your reading spot, a drink of your choice, sit back and find out the adventures of Cray and Madison. Heads up you may want to pre-order the A Scot's Favor and A Scot's Retribution so that you can see the characters to the final adventure. You will not be disappointed in reading this book.

All the emotions in this one!

How can a book series get better with each book? It doesn't get stale or boring or repetitive. It gets more thrilling, more emotional, more mysterious and more soul searching, heart breakingly beautiful! When I finished Aidens book I thought the next book can't top that but the Cray and Madisons story definitely did! I can not wait to meet wee Ciann or see the disinherited finally be destroyed. The evil & death in this book is chilling and only good, God's and love of country overcome it. Read these books and fall in love with Scotland, mythology, history and a great tale!

In this life and the one after that

Such an amazing story! A new generation of Maclomains are saving Scotland from the evil forces trying to change history.
Cray and Madison 's journey was a difficult one and coming together to protect King David isn't easy. Cray battles through his doubts about love and loss wanting to never experience either again and Madison finds Cray barbaric! Madison is on her own journey of self discovery and the secrets of their past are uncovered.
