i never met a horticultural diagram i didn't like. ditto for carrot. this book satisfies both desires. also, unlike stalking the wild asparagus, this foraging guide acknowledges the likelihood of urban living. mostly useful east of the mississippi.

I thought this was a really super book, especially for urban Pagans. A nice mix of old lore, medicinal uses, magical lore and even a section on natural dyes. The author picked 34 “weeds” to write about. I really enjoyed it.
