It was fun to see a new character with Amanda in this book! I read this on my own, but I also liked that my Dad used to read this to me as a bed time story. Each chapter is its own story so it's like have a bunch of books in one book.

Amanda loves playing with Lollipop, her bff, but feels overwhelmed when she tries to sleep overnight at her house. This cute tale has a pretty good insight into the joys and fears of young children without overdoing those fearful moments and treats the subject gently and with a lotta fun.

My nieces love this book. Amanda Pig is very cute and charming. Her best friend, who is very shy, is also very cute. Love the pictures.

I liked the book, but it was a little weird when Amanda sleeps over at Lollipop's house, gets scared, and then her father comes and gets her in the middle of the night.
