Mike Warner is an independent artist, curator and the go-to person when it comes to playlist strategies on music streaming services. This book teaches artists at any level how to grow their audience on streaming services through profile enhancement, data analysis, automation and creating value as a curator. In this book Mike sets the record straight what playlists really can do for artists' careers. You will learn how to customize your artist profiles on popular streaming services; build a playlist and grow it's following; pitch to independent curators; grow your network; release music catered to playlists. The book also has numerous helpful tips and tricks to show you along the way.
Of course there’s lots of useful knowledge about playlisting in this book, but there’s an equal amount of other scattered music business tips and tricks that are extremely useful. My only gripe is the book’s structure, but still enjoyed!
Un gran libro para la gente interesada en iniciar en la industria musical (o que ya es parte de ella), muy fácil de leer, con muchos ejemplos y herramientas externas.
Straightforward advice with several tips and resources in here that left me positively surprised. As someone that's been in the music space for a while, I was skeptical at first that this would be much fluff. However, Mike really presents a concise step-by-step guide based on experience for how to essentially grow an organic playlist while building a network in the space. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, Mike.
