Unfailing Love #5

All the Stars

Rate this book

Gaining her trust won’t be easy. Earning her love will be nearly impossible.

Leah Manning is working to get back on her feet after her ex-husband disappeared one night, leaving her to raise their infant daughter alone. When a trip to a hardware store has her literally falling into the arms of its handsome owner, his charms are hard to resist. But he’s a stranger, and, to her, that means he can’t be trusted. Can she learn to let her faith be stronger than her fear?

Brian Matthews has never met a stranger. A friend to everyone he meets, he can’t understand why Leah is determined to keep him at a distance. He only wants to help, but she can't accept that he only has the best intentions. It’s a good thing his love is patient.

Leah isn’t ready to let the love she feels for Brian override years of fear, and he’s tired of spending lonely nights playing songs on his guitar to fill the silence. What will it take to show Leah that Brian is the answer to her prayers?

All the Stars is book five in the Unfailing Love series, but the books can be read in any order.

I have loved this entire series! Each book is wonderful but I think this one is my favorite story. I love how Brian sticks with Leah through her struggles and uncertainty to show her how much he cares for her and her daughter. There is just something about a man who is willing to love a child that’s not his own that tugs at my heart. Excellent book!

Mandi Blake has done it again—All the Stars is tender, faith-filled, and full of heart. I’ve loved every book in the Unfailing Love series, but this one might be my new favorite.

Leah is a single mom trying to rebuild after deep betrayal, and Brian is the kind of patient, steady hero who shows up exactly when she least expects it. Their story is a gentle reminder that healing takes time, trust grows slowly, and God never wastes our broken pieces. I loved watching Leah fight through her fear, Brian love with quiet consistency, and little Emma shine in every moment she was on the page.

What really stood out was how beautifully Mandi Blake weaves faith through real-life hurt—showing that true restoration comes when we hand our past to God. Add in sweet country-music moments, cameos from familiar characters, and a romance that feels both tender and earned, and this became an easy favorite.

If you love small-town Christian romance, single-parent stories, and heroes who love like Jesus—this one will absolutely capture your heart.

This story of Brian and Leah is so heart warming and touching, such a display of God's patience and love for us. Read, cry, and cheer along with them as they learn to love one another.

I loved their story. Emma was precious. It was awesome to see the move of God in their lives. It's hard to sometimes fathom the power of forgiveness.

Readers of Mandi Blake's Unfailing Love series are in a for a treat when they pick up the fifth installment, All The Stars. Every single time I've read and reviewed a book from this series, I've claimed it's my new favorite, and that's definitely the case with this one as well. Mandi's books just keep getting better and better, and it's honestly hard to choose a favorite when the series as a whole has easily become one of my new favorites. I knew it was going to take a special lady to steal Brian's heart, and Leah (and Emma!) were definitely up to the job.

I enjoy how this author always writes her books with her protagonists having broken pasts as a way of showcasing how no one can ever truly move on without the help of our amazing Heavenly Father. In this particular title, Brian and Leah are both suffering with things in their past that they don't know how to move on from, and this can't come until it's turned over to the Lord, and His Grace provides much needed healing. I enjoyed how this is also always used as a method for strengthening the beautiful relationship between the couple, and Lean and Brian are now a new favorite book couple for me. I generally really enjoy stories where kids play a major part in the relationship, and I truly adored Emma and the relationship she has for her mom. Brian may never have planned on falling for a single mom, but it showed the strength of his character that he isn't dissuaded when he meets Emma for the first time, and soon develops a lovely relationship with her as well.

I feel that anytime I go to review one of Mandi's books I could quite easily end up writing a book about just how much I enjoyed the story, as there's just so many amazing things about this title. I loved the romance, I loved Emma's presence, I loved how strong the faith element is, I loved the look into some of the other character's lives who've been introduced in previous titles, I loved the fact that the writing flows so beautifully, and I loved the fact that I had a hard time putting it down. Also, as someone who was brought up on country music, I loved all the classic country songs that are mentioned and performed by Brian and Lean throughout the story. Music plays such a big part of their life, and I thought the author perfectly represented how much it means to each of them.

While the Unfailing Love series can be read as stand alones, I personally recommend reading every title as each one is so good, and I can barely even pick a favorite anymore. However, if you've yet to pick up a book from this amazing series, then All The Stars is the perfect one to start with. Mandi Blake truly takes her readers on a beautiful journey in this one, and it's a journey I was honestly sad to see come to an end.

I'm already counting down the days until the sixth book releases, and I'm really hoping that it's going to be Ian's story.

Final Rating: 5/5.

Thanks so much to Mandi Blake for allowing for me to advance read this!

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advance copy of this novel. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I was not required to give a positive review.

This was such a sweet and cute book! I know that I say this a lot, but All the Stars by Mandi Blake was especially cute. All the Stars is the fifth book in Mandi Blake’s Unfailing Love series. Brian has never met a stranger, he becomes a friend to everyone he meets. However, Leah Manning is determined to keep him at arm's length in order to protect herself and her daughter.
I really enjoyed this book because of the characters. I had liked Brian from the previous books and I was super excited for him to get his happy ending. He was such a nice guy. Brian was a happy sort of guy, but he was also lonely. He wanted the relationships that his friends had. When he meets Leah, he knows that she is the one but he is going to have to work at it in order to prove to her that he is worth it. I loved how Brian patiently loved Leah and showed her that he was worth it. He cared for her from the beginning and he understood her feelings. He didn’t push her, but instead displayed his love for her and her daughter by helping her out. It was super sweet to read and to see Brian fall head over heels in love with Leah.
Leah was a single mom and she just wanted to protect her daughter, Emma. Her ex had broken more than just her heart when he had left, he had also broken her trust. She was wary of people, but Brian had a way of sneaking past her barriers. I also liked Leah, she was trying her best to raise her daughter well and she truly cared for Emma. I felt so bad for her as she juggled so many things, but she had learned to lean on God. Leah had to let go of her fears in order to let Brian into her heart and allow him into her life.
Leah and Brian were super cute together and they both adored Emma. Emma was so sweet and I especially enjoyed reading about her interacting with Brian. Leah and Brain had to work past the barriers of Leah’s past in order to make a relationship work and Brian had to be patient and trust God for His timing.
All the Stars was one of my favorites in the series, but then again I really liked them all. I would totally recommend this book. All the Stars is a clean, Christian romance.

I could see why Leah was so guarded after her experiences with her lying thief of an ex-husband who keeps coming back looking for more money. Brian was overly friendly with everyone and a flirt, but he stops the flirting once he realizes Leah is the one he wants to be serious with. Leah puts up a lot of walls and keeps pushing him away. I wasn't sure if they would make it. But who wouldn't love a man who loved her adorable little daughter Emma too, can fix things, and plays the guitar and sings. Be still my heart.

The narrator, Lorana Hoopes, is also a wonderful Christian author who adds emotional inflections, voice tones and changes, and intensity to the story.

I loved this story and I especially loved the patience that Brian showed in trying to gain Leah's love through his actions and his words. This is book 5 in the Unfailing Love series and it was wonderful, as were all the others.

Leah had been betrayed by her ex-husband, Saul, when he left her alone with their newborn daughter, Emma, and cleaned out the bank account and disappeared. Leah does not trust easily, especially men, but when Brian literally saves her from harm, and continues to demonstrate his interest in, not only her, but her daughter, as well, she slowly begins to consider what that might mean for both she and Emma.

I am a very religious and spiritual person but I don't normally like "preachy" romance stories. This story was the perfect balance while showing how we can heal from hurts and betrayal. This story shows that when we trust in God, we can begin to see the wonder of his love and that he knows what will bring us all eternal joy.

I was given an arc copy of this book and I willingly offer my honest review.

Loved Brian and Leah's story!!! Emma stole the show!!! This was such a great read!! I started out wanting to kinda smack Leah, but by the end, I was cheering her on!! She had a lesson to learn, that all men are NOT the same, and just because she'd made one mistake, it didn't have to define her life. God didn't want it to define her life, and she finally figured out that fear is not from God, and if she let fear control her life, she was shutting God out. Love the way Mandi worked everything together, and showed that we can overcome, if we give control to God and leave it there.

I received a complimentary copy of this book, was not required to leave a review, and the opinion expressed is my own.

Leah has a hard time trusting any man after her ex left her and her daughter. Brian sees Leah in the hardware store and instantly falls for her. Can he win her over? Can she take the chance and love him? Great book and series .

Leah is left raising her daughter alone after her husband left one night without telling her why. Brian the owner of the hardware store is attracted to her and she to him but she is not sure if she can trust herself after her husband left. Brian really likes Leah so he determined not to give up on her and hopes that one day she will realize that he will stick around through good and bad. Loved this sweet romance with Leah and Brian and hopefully Leah will see that a real man like Brian can be trusted.

I absolutely loved this book. It’s a great story showing God’s love for us and how His plan and His timing works when we put our trust in Him. Leah and Brian are wonderfully written, well rounded characters. Leah has to remember to open herself to God despite all that has happened in her past. Well worth reading.

Mandi Blake has given us a story with well developed characters and story line. They say “opposites attract” but Brian really had to work to prove that to Leah. Fear keeps Leah from being able to truly enjoy life. Brian lives life at full speed ahead. I really enjoyed this story and seeing Brian’s patience and love for Leah and Emma.

I enjoyed this story. Brian was a great character. He was personable and he patiently waited for Leah to be ready. Leah really struggled with trusting others, herself and God. She grew through the story and the reader gets to take the journey with her. Emma is cute and makes the story fun. Overall a sweet Christian romance.

Leah has been raising her daughter by herself after her husband walked out when the baby was just a couple weeks old. The feelings from the betrayal linger and Leah is extra cautious about falling in love, but Brian is patient. It is a sweet Christian romance about second chances. I received an ARC of the book and am voluntarily writing a review.

A second chance at love is in the stars for her. Now that she has recovered from all she lost when she was betrayed by her husband she's finally making things work. He is sprung at the first look and gone by the first touch. She's not ready for love so he's gotta give her a helping hand so to speak. Beautiful easy love read that has some angst and a little stuff on the side. Love this author
