Who you hire defines everything, from business success down to who you are as a leader. That's why hiring top talent is the #1 priority of most CEOs, and yet, studies show that the majority don't believe they recruit highly talented people. As the talent economy continues to evolve, CEOs need to adapt the way they compete for talent in order to keep up. As a current SaaS CEO and former recruiter, Jerome Ternynck packs 30 years of learnings and differentiated recruiting strategies into Hiring Success to provide CEOs a future-ready perspective for talent. You'll walk away with the ability to attract, select, and hire the best talent at a global scale on demand--leading to hiring success now and in the future.
It’s been a long time since there was a book that supported the TA function. While this book is mainly geared towards CEO’s, there is still super valuable information for TA professionals. But I’d definitely recommend purchasing one of these for your CEO.
Some interesting points. Most are things we have heard before. But brings lots of ideas along.
2019, McDonald's Canda launched Snapplications. Workers applied through snap chat! In 48 hrs they recieved 10,0000 snapplications.
Traditional hiring is based.mostly on credentials. This is hiring for aptitude. Rather than hiring for what someone might be able.to do in the future. People look back to see what they have done. Not what they might do in the future.
Find best talent is a long term goal. You need the best people to find the best employees. Google have 16 hiring team for every 1000 employees.
Inclusivity and diversity is really important.A study from McKinsey found companies with significant gender and ethical diversity were 30 percent more likely to outperform a completely homogenous group.
To get a diverse team you need diverse hiring techniques. Create open, inviting and unbiased hiring processes.

It has a clear proposal. To send SmartRecruiters to CEOs and in general to people who can get the budget for investing in the ATS. However, behind each chapter, the TA community may find great tips and ideas of how the things should be done. It's an easy and comfortable book that I'd highly recommend to everyone that it's starting/working in the talent acquisition field.
