No one ever told me that dragons shift into handsome, naked men. Nor did they tell me to avoid dragon magic. And so, now, I've made the greatest mistake of my life.
I alone carry the hope of the entire dragon race within me. I can save them, or destroy them.
Saving them makes sense. But what if the only way I can is to sacrifice myself? I'm not sure I can do it, but I'm also not sure they'll let me refuse...
MAGIC IN HER HAREM is the box set of the serials Stolen by Her Harem, Claimed by Her Harem, and Treasured by Her Harem. It's a story with a kick-ass heroine, alpha males, steamy scenes, and a lot of surprises. This is also a reverse harem romance, #whychoose. But be warned, these dragons might just leave you a little hot.

Magic in Her Harem is is the collection of the The Dragon Shifters’ Last Hope serials. The three books are: * Stolen by Her Harem * Claimed by Her Harem * Treasured by Her Harem
The stories follow the MC Tori who tries to help her brother out, but finds more than she bargained for in the Dragons Temple when she encounters not one but three dragons representing Fire, Ice and Water.
These are a fantastic read and are perfect if you’re after a quick (but steamy) read - especially when life happens.
So…this book (er, novella?) wasn’t what I was expecting at all. It’s only like 140 kindle pages; I was expecting a compilation of novels, which would make this a series…not whatever this was. We barely even got a chance to meet the characters. How is that even possible? Idk, but the author accomplished it. None of the characters even got a chance to have a personality. There was no relationship building at all.
This book consisted of a series of events surrounding a pregnancy and childbirth. The author tried to fill 140 pages with entirely too much action. She could have easily filled an entire full length novel with all the conflict that takes place here. The result was really rushed and all the many action scenes were half assed.
The book goes like this: thievery escape betrayal brutality rescue kidnapping imprisonment escape Fight scene! near death experience the end
That’s a lot happening for 140 pages. I didn’t even add in the sex scenes, which were distasteful. They only had sex once (each) so they could get the FMC pregnant. It didn’t even feel like they wanted each other. There wasn’t even desire or lust. Nothing.
Too much was happening in the story, and not enough was happening with the characters. It was a strange combination. We barely even meet the MC’s, they were too busy doing stuff throughout the entire story. They exchange a handful of sentences with each other where the dragons tell the girl she’s gonna carry their babies. That’s it. That’s all. The end.
The premise for this story was fun; the execution was severely lacking.
*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Three novellas for the price of one that let's us follows Tori as attempts to steal from the Dragon temple to save her brother only to find herself pretty much trapped by the three remaining dragons after things go wrong. Each guy gets his own story though they each mesh together. Great world building with enough action to really keep the story moving even if they are rather short. Perfect for fans of dragon RH stories. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
I really wanted to like this book because I’m a huge fan of dragon shifters. However, I really couldn’t get past the fact the the guys only really cared about reproducing. They only looked for Tori for 9 months because of the possibility that she was pregnant. Never once did any of them tell Tori how they felt about her or that they loved her. There was just tons of wasted potential here.
I really enjoyed this story. Tori was strong and wiling to do anything for her family, including attempting to steal from dragons. It's a fast read that's sweet, sexy, and exciting.
When Tori, a thief, enters a lone temple the only thing she has on her mind is stealing something of value to get her brother out of trouble. When she is drawn to an egg she sets off a chain reaction that she never could have seen coming. Now, three dragons are about to change her entire life. Magic in Her Harem is a fantasy reverse harem with dragons. The author weaves an engaging storyline with the dragons being the last of their respective kinds. I appreciate that there is no real conflict between them. I was concerned that there would be some infighting between the males, but I like that they each fully understand their situation. Tori is a strong female character, but of course, she is stubborn willed which causes problems. I have to admit that her stubbornness does work to her advantage when the situation calls for it. There are some minor editorial errors in this book, but nothing to point of where it completely distracts from the storyline. I have to say that there are a couple predictable moments as well. The author attempts to be subtle with what is coming next, but I’m disappointed that Tori doesn’t see it coming. Also, I wanted the author to mark when large amounts of time pass. While the author does point this out, you have to piece it together first before it’s made clear exactly who much time has passed. All in all, I am rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. The storyline is engaging, I like the tense moments the author writes into this story. I’m disappointed with the predictable moments, but they aren’t so bad at the end of the day. This is an engaging fantasy reverse harem and a good pick for those who enjoy steamy scenes, danger, and a few surprises.
Tori has her sights set on one not-so-simple mission; sneak into the Dragon Tower and steal something of enough value to pay off her brothers gambling debt. Once inside she is drawn to an egg. She needs it. However, once she touches it, it explodes filling her with magic and bringing three angry dragons. Unknowingly, Tori absorbed the magical essences of the only remaining dragons; Phoenix the Fire Dragon, Frost, the Ice Dragon, and Azure, the Water Dragon. She has become the only hope they have to mate and keep dragons from becoming extinct. It's a risk for a fragile woman, even a feisty, cursed by magic female. Throw in one worthless brother, a handful of cruel humans, and way too many evil dragon mages and Tori's chances of survival are slim. But this little thief has stolen the hearts of her dragons so they will do everything to protect her.
Magic In Her Harem is the box set of the serials Stolen by Her Harem, Claimed by Her Harem, and Treasured by Her Harem. It's an easy, entertaining binge read. Likable characters, plenty of action, plenty of sexy times. It will definitely make you crave your own harem of dragons. And the ending sets the stage for even more fun in the future!
Magic in Her Harem is the box set of The Dragon Shifter's Last Hope series, and tells Tori and her 3 dragons' story. I really enjoyed reading their story, escaping into this amazing world, and hope to read more from this series or world. All 3 books have some humor, action, romance and twists in them.
In book 1 Lacey Carter Andersen builds a world readers are quickly drawn into, with great characters, and an intriguing storyline. There were a few twists that I did not see coming but they just added to the story. Book 2 picks up right where the first book leaves off. Like book 1 it is well written and pulls readings right into it. It had more twists in it than book 1 and is a little darker at times, but kept me reading to find out what happened next. Book 3 pick the story back up with a little times lapse in it, but that doesn't take anything away from the story and is well written. It has some sweeter and emotional moments than the other two books that I couldn't help but smile at and relate to. It held my interest all the way to the last page and left me wanting more.
A fast paced, steamy, action packed Dragon shifter story! This box set features three novellas in one, which tell the tale of a human thief stumbling into the lives of three sexy dragon shifters. But life is not easy being associated with these fabulous creatures, as there are people who wish to take control of the Dragon.
I really loved this tale because there were no real stupid moments (okay - maybe one stupid human moment, but we all have those same fears, right?), which is a pleasant change from most romantic stories we read. Plus, who could really turn down Phoenix, Frost or Azure? I think I'd be in the same position as Tori if I stumbled across that egg.
Kind of sad to not see more of what was to come, but hoping that the little cliffhanger at the end means we get to see more of the Dragon Shifters and their Mate.
**I received a complimentary copy of this book for review consideration**
I read this box set in about 2 days. I loved it. Give me dragon shifters and I’m happy. Tori sets out to steal a jewel from the dragons to save her worthless brothers life. Unbeknownst to her, she knocks over an egg that hold the dragons essence and fertility magic. Now Tori is arlready dragon blessed, or magic curses, take your pick. She meets Pheonix, Frost and Azure. The sexy dragon shifters that want to make babies and happen to be all sexy like. There are bad guys out there who want the dragon race gone. All the twists and turns made this an awesome story. It is binge read worthy and highly recommended.
Tori is living a life of poverty, having to fight just to keep a roof over her head and take care of her troublesome brother. When Tori tries to seal from three dragons to take care of her brother’s debts, fate steps in and creates a never wavering bond between the four of them.
Such an enjoyable read. The book and story are quite enjoyable and I am eager to read the next book in this series. I rated it a four, simply due to the fact that Tori was awfully quick and unrealistically agreeable to the part she was to play in the relationship. Wish they could have gotten to know each other better before she agreed to their requests.
This is a compilation of 3 serials so the overall length is fairly short but still a fun story. It was steamy and hot with a fast burn. I feel like this story missed a few opportunities to really go deeper into the story and make it more complex. The characters, other than Tori, didn’t have much background or personal history given which made me think the character development was more on the shallow side rather than deep and complex. Like I said, the story is short and compiled of serials so it’s expected but it can make it more difficult to dive into deep character development. Regardless, the story was a fun, quick, and steamy read.
A fast paced and very hot reverse harem romance. One thief and three gorgeous dragons. She is definitely going to get more than she planned on. The last three dragons have found one way of keeping dragons from going extinct. But it will take one special female to be able to give them their dragon offspring. She is just trying to survive and keep her brother from getting himself killed with his gambling. But stealing from dragons may not be the best idea. Action and lots of hotness.
A super fun read! Our MC is a little spitfire of a thief and her 3 hot dragons are just as entranced with her as she is with them. Great world building and some thrilling adventure to keep you flipping the pages. I don't like to give spoilers, so I'll be a little vague. I would have like a little more back ground to why Tori may have been "gifted". Regardless, this was a seriously spicy tale that leaves room for a follow up I am greatly anticipating!
No spoilers included! This box set was awesome! But then again just about every book that I read by Lacey Carter Andersen has been awesome. I absolutely love the way she’s able to pull her readers into the reality that she’s creating and keep them hooked and wanting and needing more of her stories. So yes I most definitely do recommend this box set because I thought they were fantastic and I think everyone should read them!
I very much enjoyed this story! The storyline and characters were interesting though I would have loved to see some scenes a bit more fleshed out and maybe a little more background information. I know it was initially a serial so I get that those stories tend to be a bit shorter. Still it was a good quick read and worth checking out if you like RH and dragon shifters!
A good read. I just wished there was more. I felt like that in some parts, it was rushed and we didn't really get the full picture and the male characters didn't get to 'shine' like we didn't get long enough with them to find out their story's and who they are. Overall, it is a quick read, and a really good plot.i quite enjoyed it. I just wish there was more or even at least prolonged.
I really enjoyed this read! It had the perfect mix of drama to romance and fantasy to the storyline. For this being a short novella, it had an entire world developed and carefully thought out. The spice was spicy and the fantasy was magical! It could have been a massive fantasy book but I enjoyed the quick read. You got all the important aspects but in a short journey.
I love the kick-ass MC and her 3 alpha dragons. Such an exciting fast paced story that flows from one page to the next. Tori stole the dragons last Hope at a family and now she has to pay the price giving herself to them. Such a great read you won’t be disappointed
Tori the human thief and the last 3 dragons in the world. . Sometimes you can't always trust family.....Action packed, fast paced, so much story in this box set and that ending, hopefully there will be more dragon stories to come!
I read this while it was released in shorts. It was a good read but because it is so short there wasn't any room to get to know the characters so I really couldn't submerge myself into the story. It just needed more personality, action and twists.
I enjoyed this story. At first it seemed sort of clumsily written compared to some of the authors other books, but it doesn't take too much away from the overall story. It is a unique storyline and I hope to read more like it.
I truly loved, loved, loved this book. I couldn't put it down once I started too read it. Such a great story, characters, action and romance. What a wonderful book too get lost in. Great work. I can't wait too read more of your books.
This is three booms in one. Fast paced and high heat. About a girl who is a thief and dragons who want a family. I enjoyed this book. Plus it’s a binge read. Binge reading is awesomeness
This book reads quick, and its a great way to spend a couple of hours! The story is original and I really enjoyed it. The ending was great, and left me want to read more from this world.
A failed robbery of the dragon’s temple changes Tori's life forever. She finds herself the captive mate if three dragon kings but the only chains that bind her are in her heart.
This is a steamy series starter that has me waiting with bated breath for the next book.
A great little read, I raced through this book and was surprised to find myself enjoying it so much. Its a quick spicy story with just enough of a story to keep you interested.
This book was wonderful Lacey always brings you into these worlds! And the storyline with Tori and her three shifter dragons was wonderful. I couldn’t put it down!
