This was convoluted and just not believable to me.

Tragedy in H's family but the way he handles it and the way the h forgives him without even a whimper is completely unrealistic. No woman would take a man back after what he did to her but she accepts him immediately, he never even has to bother to make up for how he treated her because she just accepts him totally. Really? She's not even a little angry and hurt by his admission of all those other women? C'mon, that's just not feasible.

He loves her so much that he has to get away from her and turn into a manwhore for 4 years, oh and also left her after they share intimacy without a single word, he just disappears (she of course doesn't have anyone during the 4 years while he screws woman after woman after woman after woman).

He's honest with her and tells her about the women and she just brushes it off lovingly "understanding" why he felt the need to turn into a manwhore. Nope, his reason is bullshit in my opinion, losing a parent does not automatically turn you into a maleslut! Especially if you profess to always loving the h who you wanted to marry at that time and she's always on his mind. Oh really even when you're having your 3somes with random women. I didn't get this nor did I like it. He was going to ask her to marry him, wouldn't even talk to her because her voice made him want to be with her but he could be with so many other women? And it takes him 4 years to come back.

Aside from all the above I felt this story was lacking depth and unfortunately I didn't warm to either character, and it finishes too abruptly for me.

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Second chance romance with a four year separation during which H was a manwhore of the std variety but I forgave him because he was in pain and lord knows falling into random vaginas cures all hurts. Beautiful, kind and CELIBATE (dumbass) h takes him back because even though his (nasty, hopefully diseased riddled, traitorous)d**k was able to rise for many other women his heart always belonged to her (why she didn't ask why his d**k didn't belong to her as well beats me) anyway another favorite that I'm so absolutely excited to start -...... note to self (shivers excitedly)

Well, okay then. I think Cooper was my favorite...or at least a VERY CLOSE second. *swoon*

If only men like him existed in real life. Cooper was the perfect person to end this little Novella series with. Started off strong with Logan, finished with a bang, with Cooper. The Wild brothers are definitely one of a kind gentlemen.

Celeste Fine (CiCi) has every right to be guarded. But for some reason, even after four long and lonely years, when Cooper shows up at her hotel room, she can't turn him away.

But that doesn't mean that getting past what happened between them is easy...she has a secret, one that could potentially destroy their reunion.

But, she doesn't know Cooper as well as she thought...and he proves her wrong every step of the way. He's understanding, still feeling guilty over how he left her and things between them. He's willing to take what ever punishment she's giving as long as it ends up with her forgiveness and them back together.

Did I mention Cooper was my favorite? Maybe it's because he takes new and very important information in stride. Maybe it's because no matter what CiCi says, he's still there, or maybe, just maybe it's because he's making good on a promise kept a long time ago...I'm just happy he was given that chance.

Review copy kindly provided by author in exchange for a honest review

Cooper, poor man who knew that four years ago the death of his father meant he had to lose contact with the love his life and now only four years later he is getting the second chance he desperately wants. If you thought you heart had been through enough with the previous books well , you heart is going to really tug with this one.

Four years ago he meet Cici at a film festival and fell in love with her but he never seen her in person since then and has returned to film festival in the hopes of find her and rekindling their relationship. However it isn’t that just simple, four years had pasted and Cici isn’t exactly angry but she isn’t exactly happy to see him.

Cici has hoped for this day and whilst she rather want him back in her life sooner than later. Things have changed as she had to raise their child on her own and she isn’t sure how she going to tell Cooper about her….

Will these two be able to find their way back to each other ?

Second chance romances are one of my favourite tropes and Foster offering didn’t disappoint. I loved the whole idea of racier series from Foster and this series overall didn’t disappoint. However this has to be my favourite as I loved second chance romances and when there is kids involved. Considering me signed, sealed, delivered as I know that I would love it.

It probably the most straight forward book in the series and combines what I have come to know the author for, sweet, heartbreak and of course a little bit of spiciness. I can’t wait to see what she has in store for the Bad brothers after the little insight she threw in with this book.

I received an ARC of this book from Tasty Book Tours in exchange for an honest review and as part of the book's blog tour promotions.

Second chance romance. Now here's another trope that I absolutely love, aside from the friends-to-lovers theme. We are now in the fourth book of the Wild Boys After Dark series. I must say that I was initially intrigued by this series because this is probably the first racier books from Melissa Foster. Knowing her, I knew that the series would be a hit, and that I'd at least like them. I didn't think I'd love all four books, which is, of course, a great thing because it solidified the author's brand. I mean, she's not just here for your sweet, new adult contemporary romance. She can write the steamier stuff too.

Cooper's book was, for me, the most emotional. Maybe it's personal because I always get emotionally involved when there is a child involved in the love story. I loved Logan and his alpha-ness. I adored Heath and his sexy intelligence. I enjoyed Jackson and his nonchalance. Now, with Cooper, I have to say that he's also a great hero too. And of course, I always have a thing for the artistic souls.

This is the best way to end the series. I mean, no offense to the other three brothers, but I really believe that from the first book up to now, Ms. Foster has escalated the emotional attachment that readers get with her characters. When Logan had his book, we were ll still getting to know them. He was a perfect first book because he was too male and too alpha to grab any readers attention and make them want to continue with the series. Heath and Jackson's book were meant to significantly tighten the pull that the series has to the readers. Until finally, with this book, it is an explosion of everything that was good about this series. Once again, Ms. Foster delivers, and I'm so glad I got to read this entire series.

This is the fourth book in the series and finally we get Coopers story. Four years ago he met Cici and fell in love with her but he had to leave her because his dad was just killed and his mother was badly beaten. He regrets walking out on her but now he is ready to win back the woman he loves.

Cici hasn't heard from Cooper in 4 years so when he shows up at her hotel room to explain what happened she is shocked. She is also sacred he will find out about his daughter and take her away. These two need to talk and get everything out in the open finally.

I definitely loved this book more then I loved Jackson's. It seemed more realistic and more of a love story. I didn't really picture Cooper as a romantic but with some of the things he said to Cici were swoon worthy.

Again Foster brings the sex and naughty words in this book and its hot!

If you are looking for a quick steamy read about brothers I suggest this series. Also throughout this series we meet some of the Bad brothers and oh boy I can't wait for their stories!

I gave it one star because I couldn't give it anything lower. The first 2 books in the series were great, I enjoyed them. Did not like Jackson's story, seemed too rush. Then came this train wreck of a book. I read it in like 15 minutes. It was way too rushed, the characters did not seem real, there was just absolutely nothing good I can say about the book. I would have rather not have had a book about Cooper if I knew it was going to be this bad. I guess Melissa Foster knew the fans wanted one but didn't know where to go with the story so she halfassed it. Just don't waste your time on this book.

I read this book as somewhat of a dare. A first assignment from an unconventional book club that included each of us diving into one of the Wild boys.

To my surprise, I was quite tickled by this story and the antics of Cooper Wild. I did not realise I was getting myself into a condensed version of 50 Shades of Gray. Minus the BDSM; add cheesy, cringe worthy love scenes.

I’m not mad about it.

Cooper and Cici

This story could have been told in 100 pages. A simple story that just dragged on — should I tell him? But what if…? Tomorrow I’ll tell him. And Cici just jumped back into bed with a guy she fell for four years earlier, who just disappeared and never contacted her after swearing he loved her.

A very cute ending, but very little suspense. And when the revelation happens, the story cuts immediately to weeks later. Unsatisfying.

Wild Boys After Dark: Cooper is a quick read and just 132 pages.

This is the story of Cooper and Cici and how they reunite after four years apart. When they first met, it was a hot wild romance, but events threw them apart. Can Cici ever forgive Cooper?

Ideal for fans of hot romances.

This is the third book in the 'Wild Boys after Dark' series. The title gives an indication that this is Jackson's story. He is a photographer and co-owner of a prestigious photo studio.  He is what would classify as a man whore. He enjoyed women and had a special appreciation for leggy blondes. He did not believe in being monogamous. It was, for this reason, he failed to acknowledge his true feelings for his best friend Erica Lane aka Laney.

Laney and Jackson have been best friends for most of their lives. They had a friend with benefits arrangement which appeared to be going well. However, things began to unravel when Laney received a marriage proposal from her current boyfriend.  Will Jackson finally acknowledge his feelings and fight for Laney or will he let her go?

I was looking forward to reading Jackson's story.  I enjoyed it, however, there were certain aspects of the story that I could not wrap my head around.  First of all, I could not fathom how Laney's boyfriend was so accepting of her's and Jackson's relationship.  His actions indicated that he did not care for Laney, as there is no well-thinking man, who would be accepting of the woman he loves and wants to spend the rest of his life with sleeping with another man. I found this aspect of the story unrealistic.  It was evident that Jackson and Laney were more than friends. They behaved like two people involved in a relationship. It was more than sex between them as such I could not fathom why it was difficult for them to make it official. Their actions were frustrating to the point that I wanted to shake them both.  It is for these reasons that I was unable to give this story a higher rating.

The relationship between Laney and Jackson reeked of complications. Here we have two people who obviously love each other, but one did not wish to give his womanizing ways.  Jackson is the epitome of the adage wanting his cake and eating it.  He wanted to continue his arrangement with Laney but was not willing to commit to having a monogamous relationship.  I considered his actions selfish.  Why did it take a proposal from another man to make him see what was in front him all this while?

Of all the books in the series, I found this one to be more sensual. The sex scenes were explicit and did not leave anything to the imagination. Their chemistry was off the charts.

To conclude, this was an ok read. I have to admit that this is my least favourite of the series.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads, so here is my review. This is Cooper Wild's story and he is the last brother and his story is the most heartbreaking. While all four brother had a hard time when their father was murdered and their mother was attached, Cooper was closer to their father and being the youngest, he spend more time with him. So he was lost when the tragedy happened. But he also had found the love of his life before going home the day it all happened that night. So he shut Celeste "Cici" Fine out so he would not drive her away forever. And in doing so, he hoped that he would find her again one day and be able to explain and hopefully be able to salvage their love. While Cici waited for Cooper to call, she could not wait around forever. Her live was changing and it was changing fast. When she found out she was pregnant, she couldn't reach Cooper so she did what she had to. Raise her daughter on her own and try to forget Cooper. When he shows back up in her life, can she forgive him? Can she let him back into her and her daughter's life? Will Cooper be mad she didn't tell him about his daughter? I loved this story but be warned, it is heartbreaking, and yes it is still sexy, hot and wonderful. I can't wait for the Bad brothers series to come out. Thanks Melissa Foster for giving us the Wild Brothers.

Mmm...I do love a second chance romance, and after not getting much info about Cooper in the first three books of this series, I was itching to start flipping these pages. Let me tell you...Cooper may be the youngest but his story packs just as big of a punch as his brothers' stories did. Just like his brothers, he loves fast, hard and completely, and every moment of it feels genuine and filled with emotion.

Meeting, falling in love, but then having one of the most horrible things happen in your life makes for one hell of a twist for Cooper-one he just couldn't deal with until seeing his brothers find their perfect matches. Watching as he goes to try and get the woman he never stopped loving back was like watching a real-life fairytale unfold. Cici is our female lead and she's a good, strong character...and seeing her with Cooper once he explains what happened, you know that they should be back together again.

There's that one complication...of the daughter Cooper doesn't know about...and just wait until the scene when he finds out (I know, I'm bad...I like to tease).

Cooper's story is a wonderful conclusion to the Wild Boys, and was another 5-star read for me. The Wild Boys After Dark series is now on my Top Recommendation list, and I highly recommend it for those 18+ readers who love contemporary romance with a very hot and steamy (and sometimes erotic) edge. Be aware there's adult language and some blush-inducing sexual content ;-)

COOPER - 4.5 Stars!

This series was amazing. Hot, sexy, sweet, and suspenseful, this series will have you glued to the pages, flipping as fast as you can. The sex was intense. The passion was raw. The suspense was page gripping. This author continues to amaze me each time I read one of her stories.

This book is the second in this series. Each is a standalone and follows a new brother thought following the series in order is best. The heroes are swoonworthy and the heroines are kick a$$. These men will make you fall hard and fast. Get ready for the ride of your life... panties optional.

This is Cici and Cooper's story. Love always deserves a second chance. They were once in love and had it all. Now, Cooper has a chance to right the wrongs of the past. And get to know the family he never knew about. Can these two find a way to mend the hurt and find their happy ending?

These two together... it was meant to be. Sure, Cooper was an did a stupid thing but life has a way of making sure that it corrects itself. Fate will always win. I admired Cici.... she showed so much love and strength. And Cooper... swoon! The man was amazing. I was rooting for these two.

I highly recommend this series.

This review was originally posted on Star Crossed Reviews I received this book for free for a Blog Tour in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.Thank you to JB for letting me take part in this tour.

Cooper is the last single Wild brother. All the Wild boys have fallen in love and their lives have changed forever. What they don't know is that Cooper was the first of the brothers to fall in love.

Four years ago Cooper met Celeste (Cici) Fine at a film festival and he gave her his heart and soul. Devastatingly on the night they go their separate ways Cooper's father was killed in a home invasion and his mother brutally beaten and left for death. This knocks Cooper for six. He is so consumed by his grief that he decides that the best way to protect Cici is to push her away.

It has been four long years for Cici Fine. She's not the same person that Cooper left behind. Her life is not the same as it once was. She has responsibilities and she needs to be stronger than ever.

While I was sad this was the last in the Wild series I really enjoyed Cooper and Celeste's story.

~~I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads ~~

The final Wild brother gets his story - do read the previous three to fully appreciate some of the dynamics, and because they are hot reads.

This is a very sweet, and chemistry driven story, with one very big secret. I did get swept up in the romance of it all, although I was somewhat surprised at the intensity that had been achieved in the original week. It was quite different from the other three as Jackson recognises all too well what was good for him, he just needs to win her back. It was a lovely way to round off the story - and introduce us to another group of men who are currently single ... Ms Foster has other plans for their futures though !

A very enjoyable quartet of books which definitely warm up the room and make you believe in good men, however Wild they may be, by name.

Cooper's book was very straight forward, no real conflict, no highs or lows. In all honesty it was very predictable, you knew what was going to happen from page one. Unfortunately, it caused me to skim a lot while it became very boring. Cooper wasn't a favorite of the Wild brothers for me, but it was sweet how it all came together int he end.

I've enjoyed this series. They were quick sexy little reads. Some I liked more than others, but overall it was a good read. I am interested in the Bad Brothers after the little hints dropped here and there.

I really enjoyed this book. I'm a sucker for a second chance romance.
All the Wild brothers suffered in one way or another with the death of their father, but Cooper lost the live of his life.
When he meets Cici again to explain what happened four years ago he doesn't know that she has a secret of her own, that comes in the form of a daughter.
again another great book and a great end to the series I will miss the Wild brothers.

Such a beautiful story to read. Cooper and Cici's love for each other was in a way worth the heartbreak they both had to face in order to appreciate the connection they had.

Cooper is the final of the four books in Foster’s Wild Boys After Dark series. Thankfully after being very disappointed in brother Jackson’s book where the best thing about the story was the sex, this almost novella length book was just right. This is a second chance at love trope. Four years ago at a film festival they were both there to photograph, Cooper Wild and Celeste CiCi Fine met and fell madly in love in the course of a week. They parted at the end of the week with promises of forever. But Cooper returned home to find his father had been murdered and his mother had been so badly beaten she was blinded for life which put him in a four year funk where he refused to communicate with the broken hearted CiCi. Cici went home to discover she was left with a very definite reminder of their week together, a bun in her oven. Once she got over the heartbreak of Cooper ghosting her she went to work building a life for herself and her daughter Melody, trying hard to forget Cooper Wild. But she never really did. Deep down inside she dreamed that someday they’d find a way to be together. Now friends that’s some kind of love when a guy knocks you up and then ghosts you for four years and you’re still in love with him. After Cooper’s brother Jackson gets engaged to Erica his longtime “friend with benefits” meaning Cooper is the only unattached Wild brother left, he comes out of his depression and realizes Cici is still the only woman he’s ever loved and ever will love. So he sets out to meet her at the same film festival where they’d met four years prior and win her back. Of course he has no idea she's mother to his child. Cici’s younger sister Tegan (her story is in the Bayside Fantasies series) encourages her to go to the hotel bar, pick up a guy and get laid. It’s been four years since Cici was with Cooper the last man she had sex with. Cici just laughs at Tegan telling her she plans to use her rare evening of not being on mommy duty to read a book and drink some wine (and maybe spend some time with her B.O.B.). Then there’s a knock on her hotel room door. Cici goes to the door expecting it to be room service and her world is tipped on its axis when she sees Cooper filling the doorway. She’s overcome with so many emotions from joy and lust to anger and resentment her knees go weak. She’s torn between wanting to rip Cooper’s clothes off of him and ride him like a stallion and assaulting him. The first impulse wins out. Cooper wants to talk. He wants to be completely transparent with Cici and win her trust and love back. Cici wants that but she wants to feel him inside her even more. Four years is a long time for a twenty-something woman to be celibate after all. As she tells him, “I may hate you in the morning but right now I need you.” A night of multi-orgasmic sex and Cooper’s raw honesty goes a long way towards getting him back into Cici’s good graces. While he’s being completely open and honest with Cici, she’s not doing the same with him. She hasn’t yet revealed to him that he has a daughter Melody. Before she can tell him she’s unexpected forced to return home. Cooper fearing he’ll lose her again follows shortly after. I’m not sure whether the scene where he surprises Cici showing up at her hotel room door or the scene where he shows up at her home to discover he has a daughter is my favorite. They’re both great.
I just liked this story so much better than Jackson’s. It wasn’t perfect. I had a hard time buying Cooper’s explanation of why it took him four years to look for Cici. Cici could have and should have contacted Cooper to tell him he had a child. I like that Cooper knows what he wants and he goes after it telling Cici right from the start that he still loves her and wants to be with her forever. Cici is understandably concerned that Cooper might ghost her and now her daughter so she takes some time to trust him. But there’s never any doubt that she loves him. The angst is minimal, the only real suspense is when will Cooper discover he has a daughter. I even grew to like Jackson and Erica who were strong secondary characters supporting Cooper in his attempt to win back the woman he loves. And they were so much in love themselves. There isn’t nearly as much sex in this one as there was in Jackson and Erica’s story but I could say that about most contemporary romances. There was enough to keep things steamy and show how much sexual chemistry Cooper and Cici had. The ending was sweet with all the Wilds and their significant others included. Nice ending to a good but not one of my favorite Melissa Foster series.

Wild Boys After Dark: Cooper (Love in Bloom Book #61) by Melissa Foster.
The Love in Bloom series proved to be a heartwarming journey through love, family, and personal growth. Spanning multiple interconnected series/stories, it offers a wonderful blend of romance, humor, and emotional depth that kept me reading the whole way through.
Ms. Foster crafted fully developed, relatable, and multidimensional characters who added an extra element of emotion and interest to my overall reading experience. The heroes are fiercely loyal and endearing, while the heroines are smart, empowered, and refreshingly ‘real’. Each character feels like someone you could know in real life, making their struggles and triumphs, high and lows, all the more impactful.
The stories have a perfect balance of steamy romance mixed with heartfelt moments. But that doesn’t mean that Ms. Foster shies away from exploring deeper themes like forgiveness, self-discovery, and the complexities of relationships – adding dynamic layers to the storyline/s. But, despite the emotional depth, the series still maintains more of a lighthearted charm, sprinkled with humor and tender family connections.
While each novel can be read as a standalone, there is an interconnectedness with the recurring characters and overlapping storylines - which help create a sense of community that feels warm and inviting. It’s like being welcomed into a big, loving family where everyone has a worthwhile story to tell.
‘Within the Love in Bloom big-family romance collection you'll find fiercely loyal heroes and smart, empowered women on their search for true love. They're flawed, funny, and easy to relate to. Characters from each series appear in future Love in Bloom books…’
If you are a fan of contemporary romance or simply looking for a feel-good series to escape into, this series is a worthwhile binge read…
Love in Bloom is made up of the following series:
- Snow Sisters

The story covered two of my most disliked tropes (they're only out done by cheating when in a relationship is established between the two main characters): Miscommunication and hiding a child. And both were used by the same character.
Cici goes out of her way to excuse not telling Cooper he has a daughter until the very end of the book. To which she was going to do in a phone call, until Cooper unexpectedly shows up at her door and their daughter answers the door. And even then neither parent takes on the parenting role and explains to said daughter that Cooper is her daddy. Instead, the child asks if Cooper can be her daddy because she doesn't have one. Cooper being missing from her life for the first three years could have been explained to her at her age level.
Cooper's grieving and stress I understand, but as a sibling, if I were to come across either my brother or my sister so upset over the person they love, that they are unable to reach out to them in their time of grief, I would channel my grief into make sure that sibling was able to have the support of the person they love. And be there for the person they love should my sibling end up using said person as their emotional punching bag. I know from experience both my brother and sister would do the exact same thing for me. I would not be able to "forget" about that nor would my siblings. So major fail on the brothers' parts. Especially with how close the brothers are supposed to be. And, honestly, he did try to reach out on his own. Yes, it may have been a year later, but Cici should have pulled her big girl panties up and listened to him then. Since she didn't all his sleeping around after that... well, that's normal guy behavior when they're getting over any emotional upheaval. And she had no reason to get mad at him for it. It was her own fault.
In fact, a lot of this story line could have easily been avoided if Cici had pulled on her big girl panties and forced the issue(s) in the beginning with Cooper.
This is the second of Melissa Foster's books I have dinged for the female character. This one makes me almost want to take back any negatives I said regarding that book.

If I were to judge this book on the chemistry and connection the main characters have, it would be a must-read story. Unfortunately, I had issues with some other things so it ended up more middle of the road for me.

Cici and Cooper met at a conference and spent one wonderful week together, making promises and planning a future. Life got in the way and Cooper broke those promises. Some may find this a bit spoilery, but it’s addressed pretty early on in the book. Cici has a secret baby. On one hand, I completely understand how this came about. On the other hand, I felt she should have tried harder. Not right away, she had to take care of her health and make sure she would be able to take care of her child. But once the baby was born and they had settled into life, it seems to me she should have done more to reach out. No matter if he shattered her heart, it was selfish of her (toward her child, not Cooper) to not try to inform him.

Can you tell I’m not a fan of the secret baby trope? While it’s obvious the author attempted to give the reader enough reasons for the secrecy to have Cici not end up a villain, it’s still not something I have an easy time reading. I can always see all the holes in the reasoning. Plus, once Cooper and Cici meet back up, she holds back for even longer.

This is a short story so it doesn’t drag on for hundreds of pages, but it’s still too long to keep that kind of secret. As I said, Cici and Cooper have amazing chemistry and if there wasn’t that secret between them, I would have been all in on this one.

Audiobook Review…Oh my.. these Wild Boys are amazing. Paul Woodson has the perfect voice to bring Cooper Wild to life. As I listened to Paul’s voice I could feel the love, the respect, and the fear at losing the love of his life that Cooper has. While the story is Melissa Foster’s to share listening to the story instead of reading it brought it to life for me. Everything about the story, the narrator, and the characters is perfect. Whether you are familiar with the story and characters or new to them I highly recommend listening to Cooper Wild’s story.

eBook Review… A love lost…or almost. Cooper met his soul mate then his family had a catastrophe happen and he lost her. The sad part, Cici didn’t even know what made him leave her. This is a story of hope and lost love. Cooper comes back to where he met Cici and does find her again. I liked that Cici did not just forgive and forget. He has to work to get her to even spend time with her.

Within this book is also a HUGE secret. I am not sure most men would handle the secret as Cooper did. When the secret came to light he took it in stride. He did not let it disrupt anyone’s lives and proved his love by rolling with what was happening.

In true Melissa Foster style, she brought the reader a new family of hot sexy men. These men are a little hotter and a little sexier than others she has written about. The storyline is more graphic than other books in her series. I am definitely in lust with these men.

I overall liked this book and having listened to the audiobook set, I felt like I needed to finish this story. First, I adore the idea of the Wild brothers- they protect their mother so well, given that the initial set up of every story introduces the idea that their father was killed during a burglary and their mother was beaten blind.

The box set follows all 4 of the Wild brothers and reading (or listening) to the books in order is great as you really immersed in this world.

I struggled with whether to give this book a 3 or a 4, so it's 3.5 stars for me. Cooper and Erica had a hot fling 4 years ago and he promised her the world, before he ghosted her. Well, he ghosted her because his father was killed and his mother was hurt. That is believable because people do react to this type of trauma and pain differently. But then, he decides that he will sleep around with everyone. That is just such an odd premise to me. Throw in that she also has a secret and when they meet, it's built up to be a bit thing but then kind of whimpers out with barely a bang at the end of the story. Overall, a sweet story but perhaps, because of the novella size of the story, has a few holes in the story.
