Read chapter 35
Once I read why outlaws did fast raids and did not occupy western towns. Full of armed veterans of American Civil War, be like petting angry porcupine. Last chapter of this book well thought out demonstration of why with right attitude and preparation village of hunters and farmers would be too tough for bandits to extort and threaten.

love it
I love how Karou is striving to live her best life. I love it more how she values her companions lives more than anything. I hope she does find a husband and have a family. But I don’t think she realizes how much of an impact she is to them. I can’t wait for the next volume.
