Healing HER: Poetry that nourishes the soul through feminine energy

Rate this book
Feminine energy has been used for centuries to heal the soul.

It is a conduit for self-love to return back into your life and heal you through intuitive alignment. This book is a collection of intention-based poetry and prose that will align you with your own self-healing superpowers.

By intuitively resonating with the nurturing qualities of the feminine psyche, you will be able to recalibrate your mind, body, and soul back into a nourishing state of wholeness, from which even the deepest wounds can be healed.

This book was created as a conduit for your own journey back to self-love - and allows you to hold space for the darkness, those peaty, blackened soils that provide the most richness for personal growth. Through this book, you will engage in the emotions that do not only bear witness to your pain - but show you a way through them, and to the other side. This collection will nurture, allow & gently restore your intuitive healing abilities through the emotions that connect with subtle, yet infallible, feminine energy.

These books have been created for sensitive souls who want to heal and empower themselves through the profound power of story medicine.

Through the spoken word, journaling, meditation, poetry & mindful listening, you will be guided back to the essence of yourself - the whole, validated, worthy, confident & self-guided reality of who you already are.

The mission of Sez' work is to provide you with a mirror of the voice you already have in your own head. The words used in all of these meditations, storytellings and poetry come from living in the wilderness and being closer to that unconditional Heart that speaks of kindness, healing & presence.

This is the place where words are planted as seeds into the very heart of your being - and where you will be able to rewrite your emotional health story; blossoming from truth.

This book was filled with raw, vulnerable, and beautiful poetry. Some poems made me emotional and others made me feel like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. The poems embrace femininity and vulnerability while reminding the reader how strong these traits make you. This reminder takes a beautiful form in this book, which is very much needed.

Picked up this little boom to read on vacation. It fed my soul! Empowerment and reminders about the strength and fortitude of women. I’ll likely come back and read it again and again.

THIS WAS SO SO GOOD! This author is so in tune to her womanhood and depth of emotion. Poems ranged from a few lines to a few pages, regardless of length, these poems cut to the core of divine femininity. This is a quick read as it's under 100 pages, but you will end up re-reading poems over and over again because they are that good!

FIND THE WOUND
"Find the word.
that describes the wound.

Know the wound.
Honor the emotion
that encompasses the wound.

Cleanse the wound.
Awaken the light
that acknowledges the wound.

Heal the wound.
Allow the Action
that absolves the wound."

Some of my favorite poems from this book include: The Most Sacred of Tools, My Voice, She Danced to the Unease, and We May Never Truly Heal.

I heard of Sez Kristiansen through her meditation podcast on Spotify and I really enjoyed how soothing and relaxing it was. I was able to get a free reading of her poetry Healing Her from kindle unlimited and was excited to read her poetry and reflections.

“Sometimes,
The midday’s moon
Will slip through
The tracing paper sky
And remind me
that the sun is
But a momentary eclipse
To what is
The vast darkness
Of the universe.
And my true nature
Is not held
Within these 12 hours
Of shadow makings,
But freed
When the raven black sky
Comes to take me home.”

Kristiansen has good insight on holistic wellness and offers a perspective on how to transform the mind by looking within. There are times, however, where the writing feels more reaching and cliché. I agreed that, like Kristiansen, healing is an individual process but also believe the importance of community healing as well so I think it would be interesting to hear her take on community healing. Overall it was a good read and I felt her feelings portrayed to inspire healing and empowerment.

This collection of poetry was very enlightening, and some of them really hit home when discussing feminine healing. The poet uses a whimsical and abstract approach to healing, and it forces you to think about how healing can be unconventional at times. I give this book a 4 out of 5 because there were just a few small typos throughout the book, but overall, I would say that this book is a great addition to any poetry lover’s collection.

Very enjoyable and an easy, short read. The poems were all of good length and spoke on some important topics. I’ve read a few poetry collections these past couple days and this was by far the best collection I read.

I’m happy this found its way to me. I’ve mentioned in other reviews poetry is personal, particularly contemporary poetry & it either resonates or it doesn’t (with some exceptions). I will revisit this one again in times of healing

A collection of beautiful poems that resonate with me in ways I didn't even think possible.

Quick read, but I'm sure I'll be rereading this one again and again.
