As a highly sensitive person this book really spoke to me. Am I an earth angel? Who knows... I really enjoyed trying the some of the book's activities and they made me get to know myself a little bit more. Self care is key and also nobody's perfect not even earth angels are. Learning to love yourself is a hell of a journey but by understanding and getting to know yourself a little bit better you'll end up achieving it. Also, as Brad Meltzer says "Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always."
The first time I heard the term Earth Angel was from an old song by The Penguins, such an adorable song by the way! I hope you give it a listen. But I never really thought of the term any deeper than a cute song until I saw this book.
So, I'm not an Earth Angel, I'm an empath but not an Earth Angel and I've never met one either but it was awesome to learn what the author thinks on these subjects. I also love some of the ideas and exercises that are listed in this book and I've tried a few to help me and they work!
I do think this book could've been slimmed down a but because it felt a little repetitive at times but a lot of books about empaths do because the message is "TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!" over and over. Which makes sense, empaths often forget themselves to help others.

Good, easy to understand, I believe this is a book for beginners or people who is starting on the path and still don't understand if you're starting to feel this way, this book is for you.
I like the book and everything that the author wrote about, many things I identify myself with but at the same time, I feel like I already knew all the information.. if you're looking for something to clear your mind this book can help if you're looking to find something new or more details about your introvert nature and your extreme sensibility this book can help but at the same time I recommend you to look more info around as this book feels more for "beginners."

This is a beautiful book with a strong meaning throughout it - Take care of yourself too! I loved this book and found it very reflective to my own self being. The book gives you a series of questions to answer at the beginning to determine if you are an empath or heart angel which was very helpfully too. This is the first book on this subject that I have read and I really enjoyed it.
As someone who has always been an extremely sensitive, purpose-driven being, I found that it was no mistake that I was drawn to this book. Tanya helped me see things that I had not yet clicked together, and changed the way I will look at my life. This was a great, light read to realize the potential and meaning of what it’s like to be an Earth angel navigating the planet. Complete with exercises and tips to manage this energy, this book only lacked a more thorough description of each chapter. I will continue to refer to it when I’m feeling out of touch with my sensitivity!
This is a wonderful book for all the sensitive people in the world, or if you live with someone who is an empath. It explains why we feel the way we do, and how to manage our sensitivity in this chaotic world. It made me feel better every time I sat down to read it.

Are You An Earth Angel? is a nice little book that provides advice to those who are HSP / introverted / empathic so that they can better manage their lives in a healthy manner and safeguard their emotional wellness day-to-day. I found it difficult to relate to some of the concepts provided, but I did find use from the methods regarding prioritizing self-care and socializing smarter, although partway through I did realize that this book was very similar to another I had read, likely also another Llewellyn publication. Definitely a book to peruse through, with tons of useful advice for the HSP.

As a super empath, I thought this book would definitely be for me, but I ended up not even making it half way through. There was something about the overall tone that just didn't resonate with me, even if I do agree with a lot of the information put forth. Also, when the author mentioned that humans can never become 'heavenly' angels after 'death' because we are completely different on a 'soul level', I really lost it. Unfortunately, this book isn't overly aligned with my personal earthly journey.

Imagine that you're at the end of your rope as a sensitive person and an empath. You need a gentle but firm pep talk from a good friend who understands what you're going through. If that's where you are, you're in luck--that's what this book delivers.
With simple exercises and a kind, understanding manner, Are You an Earth Angel? gives a realistic look at what you need to do to take care of yourself as someone with heightened sensitivities. No, the author does not believe we are angels in human bodies. Yes, she recognizes that we are built slightly differently, from our physical body to our souls and life purposes. But at no point did I feel like this went too far out there for me to stay on board.
In terms of what's contained--well, it did feel like perhaps one excessively long blog article. At the beginning, I was unsure how she was going to fill an entire book with this subject. And a lot of it is repetitive, with one simple theme ("You need to take care of yourself!"). But sometimes, that's what we need. Especially when we've neglected ourselves so long.
