It was such fun reading this graphic novel..........

The Hunchback of Notre Dame is a sad old tale set in the late 1400's, a time when people believed in witchcraft and black magic that often resulted in wrongful death. It is also a story of great kindness and loyalty and Quasimodo's eternal love for Esmeralda.

Loved it........

This is intended for a younger audience. It tells the basic story in comic style. I didn't like the artwork as much as some others I've read in this classic graphic novel series, but it's not bad. Sort of a sad ending though....

The story felt a bit too condensed for me but overall it was a good retelling. Since of how short it was I feel like I didn’t have time to be surprised by any of the plot twists, and I didn’t really get invested in any of the characters.

So very sad and tragic! I hated the ending, and I can’t believe this is a children’s book!

I quite like The Hunchback of Notre Dame and I usually don't have any problems with graphic novels, but now I'm not a happy camper! Whether you like the artwork or not, depends on personal taste - this was just not my cup of tea. But what disappointed me most, is that this is merely a simple summary of a great classic, which they could have done more with.

Kisah ini agak suram menurut saya. Dari kisah maupun tokoh. Entah apakah cocok dibaca oleh anak-anak. Penerbit tentunya sudah memiliki pertimbangan khusus.
