The Holloway family went thru so much. Great book. It kept me hooked from the very first page. I enjoyed this story about ghosts, Native American lore and deep family bonds. Greed was also a main topic to this story.

A family struggling emotionally and financially after the wife hears voices and crashes their van with her two girls inside. The physical wounds healed but emotionally they all have a long way to go. With the extra medical bills and having to take time off, well they are broke. So they drive to a ghost town with a mine for the father’s job but what suppose to be a new start turns out to be a nightmare, the worst kind of horror for parents.

The writing is great in this horror story and the storyline is addictive. The characters are well crafted, with distinct and strong personalities leaving you hoping that everything will workout for them. That the evil will leave them be. The storyline is filled with interesting twists, surprises, gory characters and unexpected turns that keep you glued to your book until the end. The narrative had wonderful descriptions of this and other realms. There were scary parts that made you shiver and touching parts about a family’s love for each other. The action scenes were well described. The author expertly wove together all the various elements into a great horror story. I look forward to reading more of this author’s work.

Paranormal Thriller

After a near devastating accident the Holloway family is trying g to put their life back together. When Terry takes a job at an old mine, he decides to take his wife and daughters with him. Little does Terry know before the job is completed he may lose everything he's working for. Interesting characters, great descriptions, and a great plot made for a thrilling read.

The story had a great start... unfortunately, the end was not as spectacular.

I'm sure the author planned to write all the events to increase horror side of the book.. but it just fell flat. I would assign this book to paranormal category than horror (not much to be scared about).

The drags on and on to the point you read it just to finish it. Could have been better.

Doesn’t fit in with the rest of the series. There was nothing “haunting” about it. And there was no house. 🤣 Aside from that, the writing was terrible with the use of the same phrases so many times it started to feel like a drinking game. It dragged on until the end when the author completely just gave up and threw it to the wind. That was fine. I wanted it to be over with anyway.

Great interesting read

Very interesting and exciting book. I had so many emotions while reading this. I was very involved in the story. I was happy with the ending. Amy was returned and it appears the grandfather broke the curse for himself and Mulaney is stuck in the mine of hell. Where he belongs for all his evil doings.

Intriguing read

Fascinating plot. It certainly kept the reader guessing with one crises after another. It made me feel many emotions throughout the story line and always trying to guess ahead how all of this would end.

I was disappointed. It wasn't a book that I couldn't wait to get back to. Don't get me wrong......somebody may think it is wonderful! I just didn't.

The author did well written imagery of spirit realms in this book. I liked the premise and the story engaged me so much I read it in one night. I liked the theme about how family fights for each other no matter the cost. I highly recommend this book.

Not your typical Haunted House Book, WAY BETTER

Nice combination of suspense and horror. I enjoyed the story and the loose ends being tied up. Very different from the “haunted house” genre. Thanks for writing it!

Keep the gold

What a wild ride!
I really felt bad for the Holloway family. They were a loving family that got put through the ringer. The tribal family was also put through the ringer all because of some greedy business men.
Nice, smooth read.
