Nancy Rue is the author of over 100 books for adults and teens, including the Christy Award-winning The Reluctant Prophet, Unexpected Dismounts and Healing Waters (with Steve Arterburn), which was the 2009 Women of Faith Novel of the Year. She travels extensively—at times on the back of a Harley—speaking to and teaching groups of women of all ages. Nancy lives on a lake in Tennessee with her Harley-ridin’ husband, Jim, and their two yellow Labs (without whom writing would be difficult).

This is one of many companion books that goes along with the "Lily Series." I received a few for my birthday when I was younger and really enjoyed reading/writing in them. They went along great with the books that I had read from the Lily series and also, if memory serves me well, they were the first books I ever got that were more of a non-fiction book/inductive bible study course. They are set up similarly to companion books such as the teen edition of "Lies Women Believe" where each chapter has a page or so of thought provoking Christian based stories and things and then, after there are questions to ask yourself and allow time for reflection. I found it very helpful in my growing up years. It made me feel grown up and also taught me a few things I hadn't thought about when reading the books. And not only did they teach me a few things, but they were still very fun to read. These are a great recourse if you have a young person reading the Lily Series right now.

The first 2 or 3 chapters were good and the rest...well...I really didn't like.

It's pretty good for people about 7-10 years of age. After then, it's not as exciting. My 9 year old cousin loves it, but my 12 year old cousin thinks it is stupid.

I love how there's a God aspect given on creativity for young girls.
