America Hijacked: How Deep State actors from LBJ to Obama killed for money and power.
All throughout recorded history, politicians have taken bribes from outside parties to push certain agendas, either profiting themselves or helping others profit through illicit and illegal actions. We know this common practice is wrong, and yet we all tend to look the other way. Before examining these actions, should we look at the commonalities? Just how did Deep State actors from LBJ to Obama hijack the country that we love? How did the Clinton Foundation and the Bush Foundation change the course of American domestic politics and international policy? On the surface, it may seem as though the course of history has diverted and deviated from the path throughout our time as a nation, but who is leading the ship? Who is in control? And more importantly, why? What are their motives? As ordinary Americans, we are the ones who suffer from the repercussions. Let’s take a deeper look into the Clintons, the Bushes, Kennedy, Johnson, and even Donald Trump himself to see just how the Deep State has impacted the world we love and the country we love. Motivated by money and power, Deep State actors grasped control of this country long ago, and since the election of Donald Trump, they’ve been grabbing and grasping for any last shred of power that they once held over us. Understanding how these actors received their power is critical in understanding why they abused it. Through America Hijacked, we’ll take a critical look into the policies and practices of nearly every administration up until modern day to see just how the Deep State came to be, and how they hijacked America for their own personal benefit. “Most politicians are not pure evil, as the other side likes to portray them. Each of them will do what it takes to get in power and stay in power, and as long as we continue to vote in the same group of people from the swamp, nothing will change. Their goal is absolute power and their modus operandi is simple; divide and conquer.” So, where does the issue lie? It lies in the fact that when our elected representatives use their status and political power to cover up crimes and purposefully make conscious unlawful decisions that impact the lives of ordinary Americans, they hijack our country, our principles, and everything that we stand for, all for the profit and (political) gains of the few. This is the Deep State.

I won this book in a goodreads drawing.
A book tracing some of the origins and machinations of the deep state. The author does a good job a keeping the focus on provable things, rather than going down rabbit holes. He is also much more fair minded than most authors in this field.
Not bad.

America Hijacked is well-researched, though exceedingly controversial, as is noted by all of the one-star reviewers' reactions to the story. No doubt, Mr. Carlson has taken a toll on their collective nerves. Yes, our compatriot has compiled what the open-minded have been bantering about for years—what the ethically disreputed of our country is afraid of admitting. And though I agree in general with what has been put forth in this book, it is foolish to think that any of the irrefutable criminal activities covered therein will ever be righted, even though there is overwhelming evidence to do just that. All of this insidious behavior has been ingrained in our culture for so long that it has become an acceptable means by which to conduct modern society. Fortunately, however, we are still allowed to have our opinions in this great country of ours, even if those opinions are being shouted down and demonized by the most forlorn and spiritually misguided of those who surround us.

The book rehashes all the conspiracies out there for years. No definitive proof. Just conjectures. Pro Trump Book

This was a GoodReads giveaway win of a Kindle ebook. This is a voluntary review.
I am not the target audience. I was hoping to find a balanced presentation of facts to enhance my perspective. This book is by a self confessed conservative leaning author and is slanted from this point of view. There is a bigger reading audience if you stand on one side or the other and not sit on the fence. In politics there is little room for the moderates. But I did find it interesting.
For me, it did highlight politics is all based on GREED. In fact, that is how most of America operates. How do I enhance my worth? It may not be best for the nation as a whole, but it works for ME. I just need to get others to believe me when I say "I'm the greatest person this country needs." (And kiss up to the money to back me up.)
And this book enforced my understanding of "Conformational Bias". We highlight the narratives that confirm what we WANT to believe. It matters little if those stories are true or not. And we OMIT details and opposing stories that run counter to our beliefs. They shout in the loudest voice possible how "they" are your enemies, don't listen to "them" as "I am right and they are wrong". We ignore the larger picture as it runs counter to our prejudices and biases.
Go find you next GoodReads and while you are at it, try researching beyond your "Conformational Bias" and come to your own conclusions for a change.

I’ve had enough I was only 42% of the way into the novel but I can’t finish it I’m just gonna mark read just so I can be done with it.
To constantly reference an author, as your source for what you’re writing when the author in question wrote the book, the holocaust is a hoax. Hundreds of Roger Stone footnotes. This is ridiculous. The beginning was solid, but it just went way downhill from there.

Reading America Hijacked opened my eyes to the corruption and deception that have shaped the world, especially the United States, over the past 80 years. This book digs deep into political history, covering everything from the Vietnam and Korean wars to more recent conflicts in the Middle East. It also sheds light on the influence of political families like the Bushes, Clintons, and Bidens, showing how they have profited while the average American struggled.
The author doesn't hold back, revealing how political moves, like the Green New Deal and reactions to Trump’s re-election, have impacted the country. It also touches on current events, like the 2022 war in Ukraine, and examines the fallout from the Biden administration’s choices.
What really struck me was how clear and straightforward the book is. It’s written in a way that anyone can understand, making it easy to see how political decisions have shaped our present and future. This book made me think differently about the government and the hidden agendas that often go unnoticed.
If you're curious about the truth behind political power and want a fresh perspective on American history, America Hijacked is worth the read. It’s available in paperback, hardcover, eBook, and on Audible. I definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to understand the real story behind the headlines.

Very interesting narrative on power hungry politicians and how our enemies use that against American citizens
Review tile pretty much conveys my impressions of the book. That an excellent set of references to consider!
