Apple is teased by the kids at school because her mother is a witch, so, one day, to teach mean spirited Barnaby a lesson, Apple attempts to use a tiny spell she really does not know and quickly finds herself in serious trouble due to the results.
My daughter really enjoyed this book, she is 4 and for a few days really started to wonder if I could be a witch, she tried out a few "spell" while out on walks. I always judge a good book based on whether I see it coming to life in play, and this was a good book.
A funny, sweet, suspenseful story of a girl whose mother is a witch and who is impatient to try out some magic herself. If only she could cast just one little spell, just once--what could go wrong?
