Rylan is already annoyed and alittle bitter that his coworkers have found their mates and not him.. and he is getting alittle testy lol and for a split second he smells his mates scent and off he goes... and ends up SMACKED WITH A MACK TRUCK!! now if he wasn't a shifter he would be dead.. but he is in pain and coma-ish based.. and along comes Doctor Mila who has a need to be around him.. but she is alittle freaked out when this not injured firefighter keeps telling her shes his mate.. tiny TINY are you crazy from Mila.. but she gives in since the connection is so strong..

Very sweet and cute.. now we have one more Shifter and some unfinished business with a Dragon.

No ow/om drama, no cheating, Tiny Drama, slight secondary chara, sexy times, both virgins

A little bit scary

This one has such a severe accident,that it’s a bit scary. Rylan finally finds his mate in Mila. Rylan is distracted and has a horrible accident. Mila is a doctor and instantly is attracted to him. Nice little story follows along to their HEA.

I'm surprised that this one was a hit for me. I liked the characters together and was invested since Rylan landed in the hospital trying to get to his mate. Now I have one more book in the series, but I'm contemplating reading it because the reviews aren't the best.

This is a shifter romance standalone that is also part of the Alphas In Heat series.
In this book, we get Rylan and Mila.
Rylan is a very alpha, sexy, grizzly bear shifter fireman who is going crazy waiting for his mate. So when he finally finds sweet doctor Mila, he almost died!
Quite literally.

Being in a terrible accident that almost took his life, he stays hospitalized, but not even coma could weaken the pull they had between each other. Mates are stronger than that.

Mila and Rylan take care of each other, each one in their own way, and that left them in an more even ground than the previous books, I loved that.

As usual, considering mating and all, it was an insta-love and insta-lust book, and it was really sexy, sweet and adorable.

The fourth entry in the Alphas in Heat series, this one features Rylan who is pining for a mate that he hasn't found yet, poor grizzly. When he catches a whiff of his mate's scent while helping out with a car accident, the shifter basically loses his mind and recklessly chases after the scent resulting in an accident requiring hospitalization. Lucky for him, his mate is a doctor at the hospital that he is sent to. Mila, the heroine, is drawn to Rylan; so drawn that she feels compelled to check on him even though he is not her patient. From there it is a whirlwind romance with very little angst (especially considering what has happened in prior books in the series).

All in all, I found the story ok. I loved Rylan, but didn't connect with Mila as much as I thought I would. I did love that she was an independent woman in a highly respected profession, but she just didn't seem to carry herself as such. Although this wasn't my favorite of the series, I still enjoyed it.

Rylan is the next to last grizzly shifter that hasn’t found his mate within his group of friends/coworkers at the fire department. He is getting tired and frustrated at seeing his friends all happy and in love with their mates, he just wants to focus on the call that came in. When they arrive on the scene, Rylan is told to direct traffic. As he doing so, his grizzly starts to go insane, when he catches a glimpse of blonde hair and her scent...all bets go out the window, he found his mate. But when she gets away, Rylan is only thinking of one thing - finding and claiming her. Unfortunately, he ends up extremely hurt from an accident.

Mila is making her rounds at the hospital when she is drawn to the room of the firefighter that was brought in. She doesn’t understand why, but she has to be close to him and when she sees him (even battered, broken, and bruised) she thinks he is the most handsome man ever. But when he wakes and informs her that she is his mate - will she believe him?

I loved this story by Olivia! She nailed it again with this addition to her shifter series. I loved Rylan and Mila’s chemistry. Mila is smart, beautiful, and compassionate. Rylan is the perfect alpha protector. Together they are perfection. Olivia wrote this story at a fantastic pace and all the steam she could muster. I can’t wait to read about Blake!

Rylan is down in the dumps in this read, everyone is finding their mares but him. At twenty eight years old he is lonely and his bear is going nuts lately.
He snaps at his firefighter brothers and their mates out of jealousy and frustration.
But when they respond to a motorcycle accident, he does not recognize the signs that his mate is near until it is to late. As he watches her drive away.
His bear panics and his brain short circuits. He is on auto pilot.
Taking off on the wrecked motorcycle he races to his mate in the two lane road.
Um eighteen wheeler and motorcycle, ouch.
Mila is feeling weird lately and she does not know why. She is feeling drawn to a hospital room and the patient in there. She is not his doctor but his recovery is imperative for some reason.
A beaten and broken Rylan is unrecognizable but still gorgeous to her.
But when the news that the hunky fireman is awake and asking for his mate her heart breaks but that does not stop her from taking one more look.
After that her life changed right before her eyes.
Steamy scenes, new friends made and a family created.
Blake should be up next, and we have yet to extinguish the red dragon that got away.

It was fine, though it could have been better. When the book started and he got into an accident chasing his mate down I thought maybe, just for a tiny moment that it would be a slow burn for a change but nope. He's conveniently recovering in the hospital where she works and instead of it being a slow recovery and maybe something along the lines of her talking to him while he's in a coma and seeing her take care of him that way for a little while before he wakes up it's literally a day at best and then the whole can't wait another minute for sex to happen starts. It just takes me out of the book sometimes. Yes, I enjoy shifter books and all but I just wish sometimes there was a bit of difference with Olivia's books.

Also find it funny that even the hospital knows about shifters and instead of actually treating them, they just give them some weird plasma to help their shifter healing and are on their merry way after. It was also shocking that there's even interviews on tv shows where people are talking about finding their mate. I don't know what world building this is but it's ridiculous when you get right down to it. I don't remember any of her other books/series being this open about shifters and it's a bit stupid if you ask me.

Brilliant read

Another brilliant book in this series. Rylan has been waiting forever to meet his mate and while directing traffic away from a motorcycle accident he gets a smell of her going past in a car he doesn’t even think about it he takes the motorcycle from the accident and speeds up to catch up to her when he reaches her
that is when the accident happens. Mila is drawn to the man in the other room even though he is not her patient she still has to go in. Mila sees him lying there with four burly firemen in the room who tell her he is a shifter that is why he has survived the accident. Rylan wakes up to the smell of his mate and even though not healed he has to go find her when he does he passes out again as he hits the floor. Next time Rylan is awake and talks to Mila he explains she is his mate Mila doesn’t believe him at first but after their first date she is fully on board with it.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the fourth book in the Alphas in Heat series. In this book, Rylan is a grizzly bear shifter and a firefighter. One day while responding to an accident, Rylan sees his mate driving by, so he chases after her, but gets into an accident himself and is sent to the hospital. Rylan is determined to find his mate, but is surprised to learn she is a doctor at the hospital. Mila is a 27 year old virgin who never dated because she was busy becoming a doctor, but she is drawn to Rylan. When Rylan starts to talk about his mate, Mila thinks he is mated to someone, but Rylan means her. Rylan has to convince Mila he is serious about her and he wants a chance to prove it. Mila agrees to a date with Rylan and admits there is something between them. I love this series. I really liked Rylan, he was so determined to be with Mila. I love how he was hurt but still only cared about her. Another great one in this series.

Rylan is a bit jealous about his team members finding mates and being around them makes it even harder for him because now he knows exactly what he is missing and yearning for.

He sees Mila, his mate, when she is driving away from a site that they are working at, and in the craze of the moment, with his bear pushing to come out, he chases after her on a motorcycle, so distracted by her that he has a head-on collision with a Mack truck. Ouch!

But as fate would have had it... Mila is the doctor where he is admitted!... Rylan cannot believe his luck and now will claim her.
But Mila is a pragmatic, believes in science, and cannot understand the pull she has. How can he fall in love with her after only seeing her!

Its an insta love and insta lust, topped with possessive and crazy man/bear who will do everything to love, cherish, protect and own his mate!

First things first; I love the cover of this book!
Mated to the alpha is book four in the alphas in heat series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. After watching his friends find their mates, Rylan is desperate to find his own. Because of his impatience, he fails to scent his mate near and ends up in an accident. Mila is a doctor that is drawn to a patient that isn’t hers.
The chemistry between Rylan and Mila is clear to see and I loved them as a couple. They made a cute couple.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I hope that there are more books to come from this series.

I enjoyed this book, as well as all the other books from the series. The only reason I didn't give this book or any in the series 5 starts is because the main female characters weren't my favorite. There wasn't anything wrong with them specifically, they were smart and funny. However, with the exception of the last two books, all the female leads were kind of messes. It's not that they were bad they just were young, had menial jobs, or there lives were a struggle or an combination of those, until the men came along. Don't get me wrong I love a good alpha man who wants to take care of a protect his 'mate' but I would have LOVED not just liked this series if the women were more self reliant and weren't in an automatic state of needing saving. If those alphas had to work a little hard to get their women I would have loved that. Not sure why the women in these books need to be so helpless.

Ryali está desesperado al ver que cada uno de sus compañeros bomberos van encontrado a sus mates y el y su oso no pueden estar más molestos y celosos por ello.

Pero tras atender un accidente y percibir el olor de su mate predestinada, no lo piensa dos veces tomando la moto del accidente sigue el carro de ella, es tanta su concentración que no se da cuenta de que estampara contra un camión.

Mila no puede dejar de ir a ver al pobre muchacho que tiene quebrado todos los huesos y no sabe que poder la invade a ir si no es su paciente.

Tras descubrir que es un cambiaformas y que por eso se está curando tan rápido, pero cuando entre sueños el llama a su mate y ella al saber que esas relaciones son fuertes no quiere meterse aunque la atrae poderosamente. Que sorpresa se lleva al descubrír que ella es esa mate que el llama entre sueños.

Teniendo en cuenta que son cambiaformas su poder y/o tiempo de recuperacion despues de un accidente donde tu cuerpo queda destrozado es mas rapido. Ahora entiendo porque son bomberos todos....
Este es la historia de Rylan CF de oso y B O M B E RO va a un llamado de incendio con sus amigos y esta encargado del trafico pero no se da cuenta que un camion de 18 ruedas se acerca rapidamente a 80 kmxh a su bello cuerpo y lo arropella destrozandolo pero recuerda... es cambiaformas !!! Lo llevan al hospital despues de que tratan de organizarlo como un puzzle y alla conoce a la Doc. Mila quien es su mate y solo por ella acelera su recuperacion.
Le comenta que es CF y ella poco le cree entonces si se deja hacer otra resonancia saldria con el....ese es el trato.... en el encuentro el le comenta como se recupero y la conquista.

Rylan is a 28 year old grizzly bear shifter and fireman. He has been desperately waiting for his mate. One day while heading to an accident with his crew, he and his grizzly smell their mate, which drives him to insanity and he literally hits a mack truck chasing her vehicle down.

Mila is a 27 year old doctor. From the minute Rylan was admitted to her hospital, she is immediately drawn to him. She goes to his room, once he is awake he tells her she is his mate and there is instant chemistry between the two. Will she accept that she is his mate and let him & his grizzly mark her?

This was a sweet short read - love seeing the others from this series make an appearance.

This fourth installment in the series features firefighter, bear shifter Rylan who meets his mate after being run over by a Mack truck (literally). She's a doctor in the ER when he is admitted and while she doesn't know he's her mate, she feels a draw to him. If you're looking for PNR smut that has that super growly possessive hero this is it! I really enjoyed this one since I love a good fated mates withe the OTT hero.

He gets a whiff, but in his haste to get to her, tragedy strikes. Luckily, Olivia T. Turner had him rushed to the hospital where his mate works as a doctor.

She's not his doctor, but she can still read his chart. (I was a little confused as to why she used her stethoscope to hear his heart and was surprised it was pounding even though he was hooked up to one of those beeping things...? Disclaimer: I am not a medical professional.)

I liked this book more than I thought I would. OTT's bear shifter series isn't my favorite of hers, but this one was just ridiculous enough for me. Also, double virgin alert! 4 stars.

Mated to Alpha is Rylan's story. He finally finds his mate but not until after he suffers a few broken bones. Mila is his angel of mercy. Now all he needs to do is to convince her. I love hot, muscular, OTT Rylan's romantic side. I would love to be called "Beautiful. Breathtaking. Dazzling. Lovely. Magnificent. Superb." by a super hot firefighter ! Let's not forget the sexiness that we get in a Olivia T Turner book. I always look forward to the HEA and her next book.

this one was meh. We got more information about the world we're in. Everyone knows about shifters, there are even tv shows about them and mates. But our heroine is still clueless even though she said she watches the shows and she knows that shifters have crazy healing abilities. But she's also a doctor and even when the mmc is healed after his accident she was like "IMPOSSIBLE!" but you just said.. you literally, like last chapter, mentioned shifter healing was incredible.

Idk the inconsistencies were annoying and took me out.
