There are some good recipes in here that I return to again and again. But
there were also a number that were mediocre and a few that were huge disappointments.

I found that most of the recipes call for too many heavily processed ingredients. A lot of the recipes also seem fairly involved. I was hoping for something that would be a little more friendly to beginners (not that I'm a beginner when it comes to vegetarian and vegan cooking, but I do lead a busy life and don't want to be washing piles of dishes all the time).

I keep it around mostly for the golden noodle soup and a couple of the cookie recipes.

Some good surprises in here (like the mock chicken salad!). Nothing AMAZING, but a good book none-the-less!
