I love to read MC romances. I’ve just always enjoyed reading about the tightness of the MC brothers and the way they love their women. I love it so much that I have always wanted to write one. However, being a short story romance author, it seemed impossible to build an in-depth storyline like most MC romance series, but I wanted to give it a try. Therefore, I present to you my version of an MC romance. I’m borrowing the term MC Lite from Frankie Love. It is heavy on the motorcycle club sense of family, it has lots of alpha men and the curvy women that love them. However, it is a little lite on the drama and most violence is handled off-page. I sincerely hope you like it.

Zoey has been asked to help Rancher out with his physiotherapy. When they meet sparks fly but she knows she shouldn't get involved with her patient. Hot and steamy. No virgins, no cheating, nice epilogue!

Rancher was injured in that bar fight now he has a bum leg and already cranky since he can't ride, work on his farm do normalish things, so the guys get him a therapist Nova already love or lust at first site. But Rancher pulls away few times do to pride, but that doesn't stop Nova from poking the bear.
Prettyy short and relationships drama (his pride about his limp) beside that it was quick pace.. we are getting smokey story next....
Also to the author the blurb says Zoey but the girl is named Nova? Might wanna change that.

Rancher is pissed at the world right now and feels like everything he holds near and deer to his heart is gone. Having been stabbed in the leg riding his hog and his horses is out, walking with crutches is in and he doesn't want to do physical therapy. When his club hires Zoey to help with his rehab, he is smitten and can't help but want more but will she find him worthy?
This was fun, I liked Rancher he is a huge grump but it works for his character. Zoey was like a breath of fresh air to surly Rancher. Entertaining quickie.

Yes, I know this might be technically considered cheating, but I've read the series earlier this year and even though I'm only now catching up on my reviews - yes, shame on me, you're completely right - I didn't want to overlook it, therefore I decided to write at least a couple of lines.
So, if you see me using the same words to describe the majority of the books, you know the reason.
I loved all of these books and what I wrote at the time, for "Sniper" (book 1), applies to the entire collection: they books are short, sweet, sexy and steamy - "the perfect choice to add a little bit of steamy goodness and badassery to your day."
My favorites are "Rider" and this one.
There's no cliffhangers and all of they can be read as standalones, but they're a little bit like chips: there's no way you can stop at one.

Plot: Rancher was injured in the bar fight from the previous book (Brick) and he needs some physiotherapy. The guys arrange for someone to come out to his ranch - Zoey. Rancher's a hard case but for Zoey, he'll do anything.
Commentary: Typical male patient - doesn't want to look weak. People sometimes complain about physical therapy, but I had it several years ago when I broke my wrist, and I have to say that those days were the best part of my week. Someone made me exercise (I mean, just my arms/hands/wrist, but still) and then spoiled me by icing it all down and telling me what a good job I was doing. My idea of heaven! This has nothing to do with the book though. Anyways, this was a sort of forced proximity (she could have left anytime but had a job to do and was a professional) and ultimately, they were perfect for each other, which led to a sweet HEA.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.
Rancher meet Zoey when he gets hurt. Zoey is a physical therapist and is going to work with Rancher after he was stabbed in a bar fight. Rancher protest but she assures the guys she can handle him. Rancher protest and tells her he doesn’t need her help. Zoey tells him she can have him walking in six to eight weeks without a limp. Rancher early wakes the next day and watches the guys around his ranch. After a rough start to their morning, they get started. As Zoey works on his leg she notices a bulge in his shorts, she is shocked when she see it. Rancher tells her it’s her with her hands on him, he tried to stop but nothing worked. After the session Rancher returns to his room and before the door is closed his boxers are down around his ankles. Afterwards Rancher walks out to the barn and keeps himself busy of the rest of the day. Zoey goes to find him and tell him dinner is waiting for him, he tells her he’s not hungry. Zoey tells him she’ll order another therapist for him and be gone in the morning. He tells her he doesn’t want her to leave, but doesn’t want her to be uncomfortable. As they eat he tells her he wants her but she tells him she can’t he’s her patient, she could lose her job. Zoey stays awake most of the night trying to come up with a solution, she feels the same as Rancher. She tells him the next morning she’s going to stay she took two weeks time off, so they can get to know each other and she hired someone else to work with him. He tells her to go to his bedroom and that’s where she’ll be staying. The next day Rancher sleeps in really late, he’s new therapist will be here soon. Zoey hires a man to become his new therapist, and she gets a shower while they work. Two weeks later, she asks him if he’ll take her out, she notices he doesn’t go out much not even to the grocery store. They go to the clubhouse where she dances with Avery and Madison. When Rancher notices someone approached her he cuts them off, she asks him to dance with her so he does. Someone runs through and knocks them both down and Zoey has a big knot on her head but she is more worried about him and he is more worried about her. When they get back to the ranch he tells her he can’t protect her, and she should leave in the morning. She sits on the couch and tries to figure out what went wrong. She goes to his bedroom, undresses and climbs in to bed. He asks her what she is doing and she tells him she’s not leaving him, she loves him. Rancher tells her he loves her too but she deserves a better man, but she tells him there’s no better man for her. Three years later they are headed out of town, the days after he woke from telling her he loved her he work hard. Twelve weeks after meeting each other they were married, one year later they had their son, MJ, Michael Junior, who’s almost one. They head out of town for a little alone time together.

Meh again.
Tricked me in the beginning, talking about zoey being there for 6 weeks, and she wouldn't do anything to jeopardise her work, but... NOPE 1 DAY 1 FREAKIN DAY, and she gives in to the asshole just because he got aroused while she was helping him with physical therapy.. COME THE F ON.
this could have been perfect angst for 6 weeks, then once all cleared he could, oh, i dont know, date her. Or 6 weeks of him flirty and trying to charm her.
And what was with the line "zoey that's a unique name" ahhh no, it's not its pretty common actually.
And we are back to self-centred men naming their kid after themselves. Why does every couple have boys? Does the author literally hate girls that these men can't have baby girls.
Anyway, literally nothing happened in this story. Zero drama, angst, tension, jealousy, charm, literally nothing.
Just another insta lust that they believe is love.

What happens when a tough, rough and gruff MC road captain lands himself a injury that keeps him off Hog and Horse?? He turns into a major grump a** that's what.
Rancher has given up, he's gonna have to quit them MC and give up his ranch thanks to his bum leg. Luckily for him his brothers have his back..the get him a Physical Therapist.
Being the total guy that he is Rancher doesn't want a woman to see him weak so he makes Nova's job difficult...but there is definitely chemistry between them as well.
I loved that Nova was so strong and held her own against Rancher, every good MC guy needs a strong woman no pushover!
I also really enjoyed that Hope used Rancher to show the internal struggle a hard as nails man has admitting he needs help and allowing a woman to help / see his weakness. Leaning on your partner doesn't make you weak it actually shows your strength as a team IMO

Rancher is book three in the ‘’exiled guardians’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. When Rancher is injured, he can’t ride his bike or tend to his ranch. Zoey’s job is healing people. As a physiotherapist, she isn’t allowed to be involved with her patients. When she develops feelings for Rancher, will she risk everything for him?
The chemistry between Rancher and Zoey is clear to see and I loved them as a couple. They’re perfect for one another.
I really liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Rancher is trying his hardest to keep his hands off Zoey, but its so hard he cant stop thinking for her. He knows she is there to help him, but he doesnt know how long he can fight this strong attraction to her.
Zoey makes the decision that she cant be his physicist when she want him so bad, she doesnt want to loose her job. So instead she has someone else to help him while she takes 2 weeks off of work but stays with Rancher.

Usually I like Hope Ford's short romances, but for me, Rancher was a huge fail. The insta-love felt forced, the severity of Rancher's injury felt like it was blown way out of proportion, and in this case Ford stepped over the line from sexy alpha male and into the "red alert potentially dangerous relationship" male. The end result was a story that made my stomach churn more with each scene.
Rancher didn't turn me off Hope Ford books, but it has convinced me to stay away from the other books in this series.

Zoey and Michael
Michael, AKA Rancher was still reeling from the knife wound in his leg. He and his club brothers were jumped by a rival club and he got the worse of it. In clutches, he can barely walk and he feels defeated. His brother takes things into their own hands and brings out a physical therapist that promises him he will be walking without a limp in a matter of weeks. The fact that she is beautiful makes his heart drum in his chest every time he looks at her has nothing to do with his quiescent. Highly recommended

Fast paced insta-love
Rancher is still recovering from a knife wound to his leg. His brothers hire a live in physical therapist. Nova is the perfect curvy girl for him and the sparks fly. I only gave it a 4 star because some of the conversations sounded like two middle schoolers talking.

He needed help to get his leg back in shape after being jumped a few weeks earlier with 3 other brothers. The guys brings a therapists to his place. They talk and she makes some calls and another therapist shows up and she had 2 week vacation. Now they're able to get to know one another

Good book
Another good book. Enjoyed reading Rancher and Zoey's story. Coming back from any injury is rough but they made it. I personally loved this subject matter because if it wasn't for good physical therapist, I wouldn't be up and about. Thanks for this story. Written by Cindy :)

loved!!!
Poor rancher! I totally get the hurt pride thing. No one likes to have to depend on others especially when you are so independent. He is the epitome of alpha and all man but has been hurt and his pride took a hit as well. Loved Zoey and their instant connection. Hilarious moments. Steamy moments. You get it all. Can’t wait for Smokey.

Rancher gets more than he bargains for after his accident. His injuries need to heal but he is hiding himself away, so the brothers take things into their own hands and get him help.
The chemistry between Rancher and Zoey is obvious from the get-go!! But he is stubborn and she is trying to be professional!

Another great story

Great Quick Read.
Great book. Insta romance. Internal struggles between characters if they should be together, she's worried about her job,he's worried about his injury and having a limp. Rancher is very prideful, and his pride is injured.

Injured during a bar fight, Rancher is forced to have physical therapy despite him feeling sorry for himself. Zoey is the physical therapist who changes his mind. She’s exactly what he needs and more as they find forever together! Hot stuff!

Like the series
Like like the MC stories. This one was rushed. Yes they are short , but this one had a 1-2-3 approach to it that sounded forced. Hopefully it won't be for the rest of them.

Me gusta que las heroínas están siendo distintas. En este caso, Nova es quien ayuda a Rancher, el personaje masculino, a superar una situación que lo dejó necesitando una fisioterapeuta.
Me gustó que la autora retratara a Rancher con su debilidad.
