As the title says, everything disgusting and yucky imaginable. Organs, bodies, burial rites, fungi, maggots, worms and other creepy crawlies, creepy cuisine, grossest scenes in films. I absolutely liked the illustrations and tables in the book. Nothing for the faint hearted. Highly recommended.
I was just reminded of this book and how utterly obsessed I was with it as a kid- there are so many things about it that are seared into my brain. It gets a nostalgic 5 stars
I'm so glad I finally remembered this book because I used to be obsessed with it in grade school. It's funny how many details in this book stuck with me over the years and flipping through it again was an absolute delight. My one disappointment is that I remembered it being a lot longer than 80 pages, but that could also be the side effect of things just feeling bigger in your childhood.
Also shout-out to Ren and Stimpy, Itchy and Scratchy, and Beavis and Butthead being listed as the three grossest cartoons. Ah, the days before South Park were so blissful...
My little sister got this from the book order in grade school. I read it when I was like 10 or so. It was pretty gross. I have serious doubts about the validity of much of the research that went into this book. All the same, I probably read it a ton of times when I was little.
