Meet Sloth! He believes that relaxing is an art form, that slippers are an underrated fashion accessory, and that there's nothing better than a nap except for two naps. Or five. Sloth's favorite things: Ice cream flavor: Cookies & Dream, Book: Harry Pillow and the Half-Asleep Prince, Holiday: Hanukkah (he can wear his pajamakkahs).
Sloth loves relaxing, lounging, and most importantly, napping. Filled with sloth jokes reminiscent of one-panel comics and bright, colorful illustrations that will appeal to emergent, sloth-loving youth readers.
Fun, but quick read. No story, just an assortment of sloth jokes and puns. Similar style to I Am Pusheen the Cat comic.
Sloth loves everything related to sleeping and sleeps everywhere he can. It's not really a chapter book or graphic novel, just showing how Sloth spends his days. A very easy quick read, similar to Grumpy Unicorn.
This book has such cute pictures and was easy to read. There where a lot of funny things found in the pictures. This book was so hilarious. I would recommend this to young readers and anyone wanting a laugh.
Kids will love this fun and whimsical book. It's not a story though. It's more tidbits of information about how Sloth is so sleepy. It's cute, but it's not my favorite kids book out there right now.
I love how young this is for a first chapter. It's like a hybrid between a picture book, beginning reader, and first chapter. And the main character is perfect in every way.
Publication Date: 2020 Format: Emerging reader Elements: Limited text with vivid illustrations; not quite a chapter book nor a graphic novel--a unique combination Connection/Topics: Sloths, wordplay
