One, two, learning what’s new.
Three, four, it’s time to set the score.
Five, six, things just might get nixed.
Seven, eight, there is so much hate.
Nine, ten, it’s time to live again.
Dark days filled with pain are still present in Paige’s life. If it wasn’t for her men, she would have given up a while ago. Even with the looming visit to the council, who she’s sure want to see her destroyed, she can easily take them on because she has her guys at her side.
And as long as they aren’t harmed, then she won’t have to kill anyone.
For now.

This book was barely held together by plot. It was just sex scene after sex scene. I have no trouble reading erotica, but I have trouble reading erotica masquerading as a story. On top of that, I often found the erotica just wasn't sexy. Paige and her mates are constantly horny - even in the middle of life and death situations. They had to keep telling each other to cool off or they would get each other killed - that level of stupidity and horniness is just not sexy to me. I also find the incredible possessiveness - I'm going to kill you for even looking at my mate level possessiveness - a bit of a turn-off as well. I know it is explained by their animals, etc., but these are grown adults that do control themselves in some situations, so I would have liked more control across the board. Moreover, their thought processes were all the same. Aside from Nate being grumpy and Alex being the 'feminine' man that was treated as a delicate flower by the other men (gotta love that lack of balance and respect in how they treated each other that was called love), there wasn't much to distinguish them, especially between their POV chapters. I usually couldn't tell whose POV I was reading unless they specifically mentioned the other men or I flipped back to the beginning of the chapter to see whose name was written. Each character should have a distinct voice that makes it obvious whose thoughts you are reading, but that was certainly not the case here (for me).

Basically, this book felt incredibly repetitive, and I was bored and annoyed. I kept looking back down at the % complete to see how much closer I was to the end, because it just felt interminable. That's not the feeling you want while reading a book. I saw in another review that the book got better as it went on, so I held on, but that just wasn't my experience. I thought the actual ending was too rushed, too. Oh, and the 'twist' at the end. Overall, I just found it obvious and contrived, and I did not enjoy this last book of the series.

I am literally devastated because this series ended. I could have continued reading about Paige and her men until the end of time. Paige is such a kick ass heroine. The possessiveness she shows over her men was super hot and better yet scary. She will rip the head off anyone who even looks at them wrong lol. I mean not to give anything away but she does rip the balls off of a demon, bottom line, don't F* with her. I really just loved the overall concept of the story and all the different races of supernaturals. The Devil also made a huge impact on this story and while I never thought I'd say this, in the book at least I flipping love him. Even being the Devil doesn't stop Paige from giving her a piece of her mind, the banter between them is epic. I'm glad they won in the end and took down the corrupt people in power who were literally using people in more ways than one. The epilogue was just amazing and I mean should the author come out with a spin off, I'm all for it :)

Five mates just weren't enough, so let's throw in an Elf as well. Realy?
All the preparation for the final battle that, in the end, didn't actually happen because the Devil took care of it as he could have in the beginning. Ridiculous!

Book 3 in the reverse harem series, sees Ghoul Queen Paige and her mates try to make further alliances in order to successfully go up against the council leading to her , as they fight against more than one assassination attempt. In between that there are plenty of moments of steam. In this book the confrontation between Paige and her mates and the corrupt and evil Council finally occurs - and by the time the Council realise

The start of this had me thinking oh shit this was going to be a big dud, luckily as things progressed it did get better - that being said it wasn't the fab read/third book I was hoping for, and finished thinking things could have been better. I liked the ending although I knew it was coming from what was and wasn't said earlier in the book.

4.5 stars. Sad to see that this is over.. I wasn't sure if this was going to wrap up in 3 small books but the author really pulled it off. Yes the climactic finish did come off abrupt but the Epic factor was definitely triggered. Rip roaring good time to say the least. This whole series was super fun and brought so much focus on "love who you want."

A couple things that really surprised me in this was that Paige wasn't done collecting mates in books one and 2.. greedy wench. Yea she goes and does the unthinkable and keeps adding to her collection like a dang hoarder. Also the fact that this 3rd book moved so fast from start to finish and yet I don't honestly feel unsatisfied by its movement. I was just down for the ride.

I think its save to say that this author's journey onto the paranormal side was a huge hit for me and I really hope to see more work from her over on the dark side. That being said I definitely need to go back and check out some of her contemporary stuff and see how much I like it. I hope to see more from this author or maybe even from this world in the future!

I absolutely have no words for how I'm going to miss these characters. I'm a little sad now hoping and praying that I find another book and or series that will either meet or exceed my expectations as this book has.

I loved everything about this trilogy and that's it! If you come across this trilogy and you read the blurb and it somehow intrigues you then all I can say is read it because you won't be disappointed, well at least I wasn't. I wish it was just a bit longer..ughhhh, frustrated now!

Overall rating:

5* ~ An Awesome Read/Entire Trilogy!

Well, well.. I've made it to the end of the Trilogy.

A Final Paige was a bit predictable. Just like the previous books, this one went by pretty quickly. It's a bit annoying when everyone just can't be happy and in love.. but I guess it's bound to happen. I honestly loved all of the "I love you's" that were spoken throughout this book. It just made the bond between the harem a bit stronger and who couldn't love that?

Even though it was predictable, I will admit that when Paige added more mates to her little harem.. it surprised me. Usually you know who is in it right from the very beginning, which we did in a way. Yet, with each book, there seemed to be a new addition or whatever. Not that I'm complaining or anything because I loved all the action and love between everyone. It's like everyone was claiming each other as mates and that made me super happy.

In the end, I definitely called how it was going to end.. but like 15% into the book. A little earlier than expected but eh, I still thought about it.

DNF

The whole bit with the sister being bitten and transforming into a Vampire out of the blue, and her and her husband suddenly sharing a mate.
Ew.
No thank you.
I wouldn't have cared if they'd all just met, but they were HAPPILY married (so much so it was so cute) and have children, so it's just cringy for me. It feels unconfortable.
So uncomfortable that I dropped the book asap.

Epic finish

An epic finish to a fantastic series! I really enjoyed this book. The plot was fast-moving and the steamy scenes were so hot!! I'm a little sad to say goodbye to the characters, though.

I skimmed a lot... literally scrolled past pages and pages of porn. 2 stars because I finished it, but it was forced and easy to put down.

I'm kind of sad this is over. These are fun books and I love the connection the group has, not just revolving around Paige, the guys love each other too. There was a surprise in this one that I didn't expect and at first I wasn't sure how to feel but it ended up being for the best.

The pacing in this one felt a bit off, some part played out slowly then others flew by. I did like seeing the other groups of paranormals and there were lots of steamy scenes to enjoy as well. Alex is my favorite of the guys and we learned a bit more about him, as well as saw the other guys care for him and it made my heart happy.

Cute ending and wrap up. I wish there was another book to see how the family is getting along in the future, maybe someday!

Cute ending

This had a cute HEA after doing everything that Paige had set out to do to the council. This was a good story once I went with the flow and stopped thinking about believing the impossible.

Such a great book

This book was more than I could have ever expected. This book took me for such a ride. So many emotions were spiraling through my mind reading this book.
The love of Paige and her men, and the devotion to give everyone a better life was amazing to read. That ending had my heart exploding. I wish there was more!

What a way to end this trilogy.

I initially intended on stopping the series after the first book, and I feel like it would have been a better idea than pushing through the last two.

I skimmed some of the end of this book because it just didn't interest me. The plot is kind of thrown together, it feels like a erotica book that was just given random ideas in order to prolong it. In addition to that, the amount of men she suddenly bonds with feels a bit too much (I was fine with the 4 in book one, but by the third book there were 6 guys total)

Also the canine/canine smut scene was a no for me. Just not my thing. I love animals but there comes a point where it's crossing the line.

The ending was cute though. I kind of wish there was more of that but I know some people aren't into reading about that topic in books so I can see why it did stop there. Unfortunately for me, I actually would have looked forward to it.

Try this if you like reverse harems and supernatural beings (vampires, mages, ghouls, werewolves, etc), but don't go in for the plot, go for the smut.

Amazing ending for the trilogy. I once again loved it. I also forgot how much I adored Xi, Lucifer and Ezra. They are my babies. Although, Alex and all of Paige guys have a special place in my lil heart.

Sad to say goodbye to these characters but this was a pretty good wrap-up to the overall storyline. (Of course, I ALWAYS think there's room for more story when it comes to paranormal reverse harems!)

Loved the addition of Cedrick & what he did for Paige! I only wish we got to see what happened with what he "gifted" her at the end!! Can someone say, **bonus novella**, please?!!

Side Note: Why did Paige's nephew's name change from Oscar to Oliver in this book? He was Oscar for the first two...

Great ending!

I feel like the plot really came together for this one. The characters were really fleshed out and the world building feels much better established. The ending was fantastic and can I just say that unicorn Azrael is bae. And Cedrick I love me a Fae prince 😂 I kind want another kino story based on the epilogue tho just because I think it would be HILARIOUS.

This was a fun series to read. I was satisfied with how Paige and her men's story ended.

I liked a lot of the side characters and if there ever was a spinoff series, I would definitely revisit this world.

An amazing and fast paced ending to the trilogy.

Saying goodbye to a beloved series is always hard, but at least the ghoul queen and her harem got the best send off possible 🥰

A Final Paige

Heartwarming and highly entertaining! I thoroughly enjoyed the conclusion it was full of ups and downs but mostly it was full of sweet sexy love. All of Paige’s mates were amazing although Alex holds a special place in my heart, he’s just too darn cute! It touched my heart and I highly recommend this series. I also wanted to mention that the cover is stunning and portrays the characters well.

Great story! Horrible sex scenes!!

I honestly loved the story. Which is why I kept ready till the end. But I'm not a fan of hearing about men sucking each other off and sticking their cocks into each other's bum holes. That was too much for me. I don't judge people who are gay or bisexual, I just don't want to read about their sexual acts. Other than that it was a great story.

Good points: Paige is what you want in a fl she's strong, funny and loving. Her harem is a great mix of all the broody, sexy, strong, loving, sweet characters that are happy to please her. The story was a great build up with great twists and spice.
Not so good: don't get me wrong I liked the story but it was anticlimactic in the end, there was such a build up for this massive fight and then poof it was done. Boo
