Camden "Cam" Stone had a long past and a hard life. For the past ten years he'd kept up the facade of a businessman, running the only bar in Arrowtown. The hours were long, but the people were friendly and if he didn't share much about himself, no one seemed to care. But all that changed when a new baker came to town - a baker with a flippant personality and skills the whole town were soon talking about. Nobody could be that perfect, could they?
"Fabulous" Fergus Ferdinand was a bull shifter, and yes, his momma did have a sense of humor, once. Having been away from his fold for years, he'd come to the shifter town, in the hopes of building a business that would be good enough to convince his momma to come and live with him. From the moment he opened his bakery doors, people flocked to buy from him, eager for the new sweet sensations his business offered. So, it was understandable, when the gruff bar owner seemed immune to his sweet things and his sunny personality, that Fergus was a bit surprised.
Unfortunately, Cam's suspicious nature, and his subsequent investigation into Fergus creates a whole stack of problems for the unlikely pair. Throw in a pair of pink unicorn pants, a momma in desperate need of saving, and a wolf with an eclair addiction and the couple are kept busy twenty-four seven. Just when they get to the point where the two men can take a breath, Fergus gets sick... and a whole stack of new challenges crop up.
This is an MM Mpreg Fated Mates story. Although, it can be read as a standalone, reading the previous books will give you more understanding of the secondary characters. There is snarky humor, some violence, and a lot of sweet treats. As this book is intended for adults only, please store your ebooks responsibly.

Rating: 4 stars I really enjoyed this book. I loved both of the MCs, especially Fabulous Fergus. It was great visiting with many of the cast of characters from the Arrowtown series. I think my biggest complaint is Ms. Oliver’s need to preach some sort of message in each book. Still, I enjoyed this book and thought it fit in well with the rest of the series. I definitely look forward to future installments.
Cam has always been a man of mystery and the veil has been lifted. It's great that he is of strong character and his mate, Fergus is an absolute delight.
His cheerful disposition, love and caring for others and outlook on life is amazing thanks to his mother. He is able to understand and accept that there are things in the world that he can do nothing about even when directly impacted and unable to change but he is able to let it go as the burdens are sometimes exponential and therefore too much to bear.
I love the story of their mating and how they overcome the challenges in their path and that they have the support of Arrowtown, as in our own lives we can't do it all without help from others on occasion especially with the despair, negativity and hatred in the world.
I enjoyed Cam’s story. Cam has been a background character in all the previous books and it was nice seeing him get his HEA. I think I spend a lot of time trying to work out their animal spirits before they are announced, and I was no where near with Cam. I liked how protective he was of Fergus but at the same time didn’t stifle him.
I loved Fergus, he was just so happy and nice. He was a great partner for Cam as he forced them to communicate and so their issues were resolved very quickly and not left to fester.
It felt like here was a fair bit going on in this one, but it moved along nicely. I really can’t wait for Brutus’s story, I think he needs a mate badly.
Just when I thought Lisa Oliver had outdone herself in the previous book, with Doc's unique animal form, she goes and out does herself once again! I loved this story about Cam, the stoic bar owner, and Fergus, the fabulous new baker in town. Fergus's perpetually upbeat, sunny disposition is utterly enchanting and he's the sweetest counterpoint to Cam's stern, militarism. Oh, and there are super secret new shifter forms, but I'm not going to spoil the surprise of what they are! The whole town of Arrowtown just gets better and better. The sense of community and belonging is so strong it makes me wish I could visit. The entire series is such an amazing ride and I'm eagerly waiting for each new story. Love this series so much!
I fully loved this story. Getting to know Cam better and finding out about his past was so good. He was always there in the background helping and watching and supporting his friends that it was nice to see him get his forever. It was especially gratifying to see him matched with such a sweet and fabulous guy. I loved Fergus he was very easy to like and I enjoyed seeing him get Cam to relax. Their story is not all sunshine and rainbows but it becomes clear that with each other and the friends they have both made in town they can overcome anything out before them.
I knew they were gonna be problems when Cam and Fergus mated, but I was expecting it to come from cams side was a surprise that it was from Fergus side, actually the shifter council against Fergus, family. Cam went to rescue Fergus, mother when the shifter council attacked the fold. Fergus‘s mother was the only one that survived that breach of the compound . Surprisingly Fergus, rescued cam, and his mother from the council and the Doc in Arrowtown saved her life, but not her legs . The book and shortly after the first of their baby.
Loved this book, in some ways the characters are very different one is this big tough guy who has seen bad things and had to Do some things to help people even as he keeps a distance. Then you have the other who has also had bad things happen but is so happy and almost shiny if that makes sense they are so good together and it is good seeing how they work love this town and the quirky people in it can’t wait for more .
..and now it is almost 3 am. The Arrow town series is awesome, I enjoy every book and look forward to the next. I loved how Fergus blasted through every stereotype of a shifter pairing becoming a rock and support for Cam when he didn't realise he needed it. Flamboyant without being weak, cheerful without being childish, gentle without being delicate. Nicely done Lisa.
Fergus is now one of my favourites in this series (Darwin and Seth are the other ones) and he's just as fabulous as his nickname indicates. He's just a rainbows and swee9kind of guy and I can see why the Fates thought he was perfect for Cam.
Another great couple and another great book. This time there's pastries secret government branches and some new kind of shifters that's in the spotlight.
I’m giving this one 4 stars because it’s my favorite of the series. There wasn’t a lot of miscommunication and the characters actually talked to each other instead of getting angry at one another whenever they made a mistake. Plus this one had a few moments that made me cry. And that conversation between the main characters about anger and hate, props to the author for that. Really enjoyed that discussion. I could def learn a thing or two from Fergus and his attitude towards life 💕
I truly love how quirky the characters are with this author, I am waiting for Baby’s story in the Gods made me do it series. I am hoping; the characters Newton and Tron in the Northern States pack series may be mates, will wait and see but I love how each character is different.
I have enjoyed all your books, I have read all your different series and have never been disappointed. Your books pull me in from beginning to end and I have re-read all of them multiple times. Really hate when story ends as I always want more. I watch at least once a week to see if you have a new book. Thank you for the many hours of enjoyment.
I'm not good at writing reviews so I don't usually but This writer is one of the few I feel puts her heart into it . Cam and the Fabulous Fergus are polar opposites but you can feel the love grow. They balance each other perfectly. As always kudos to Mrs. Oliver and her over worked muse! 😊
Another great book in this series and of course five stars. I love the paranormal books and the skills that Lisa Oliver use to weave fascinating stories every time in each of her books and is such an awesome talented writer. Highly recommended Ms. Oliver books, you will not be disappointed. Good reading!
Always enjoy Lisa Oliver's writing for its speaking to our lives with characters and settings so very different but so similar to our own. This Story was woven around Cam and Fergus who had life attitudes that became a fabric that Lisa wove an incredible and thought provoking story on . An entertaining tale and one I shall remember.
As usual Lisa Oliver never disappoints and has me falling in love again
Love thar Cam got his HEA.. And the Fabulous Fergus is just the mate for the honey badger...I love the fates..they know how to make people perfect for each other ...And this is another win for Lisa Oliver...Thank you
Another fabulous addition to the series. A power hungry alpha who controls his people through fear and intimidation, a couple of unaccountable council guards, a laid back bar owner with a dark past, and one sweet little Baker who just wants everything to be a ray of sunshine. How's this all fold together you say? Grab this one now and find out.
Another great addition to the Arrowtown series. I'm so happy for Cam. Fergus is a dream! If only we could all harness his outlook on life... the world would be a much better place. Thanks Lisa for another great read. I just wished it was longer, but that just because I didn't want it to end.
Ok so I'm 5 books into this series and at this point I'm questioning the effectiveness of this paranormal council. They're barely any help in each book. The 2 council guards that are in this were ridiculously inept. Like how did these guys manage to even get their jobs? Is there no screening process for such an important position? Anyway this couple was way better matched than the previous ones. There wasn't any miscommunication or angst. Which is a little break in the formula of this series. But still as usual the bad guys were over the top and quickly defeated.
A grumpy ex-black ops operative and a sunshine and rainbows baker don’t have much in common unless they are fated mates, that is. They each also have people in their backgrounds who are quite happy to bite them in the figurative bum. These pair have a very interesting journey on their way to a HEA. I greatly enjoyed sharing it with them.
Oh this was such a lovely book! I loved getting to meet Can and his fabulous mate!! Super sweet couple, even if Cam's not always a happy guy :) ! Getting to see the others was great as well ! Awesome awesome book!!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Amazing storytelling! Love this town and it's residents. Two near complete opposites attract and make the perfect tree. Exciting, thrilling, danger ans lots od yummy eclairs, I mean love!
I just loved reading about Cam and Fergus. All that Fergus went thru in his life wouldn’t be easy and I’m glad he and his momma are good in spite of the horrid man. Thank you Lisa for writing such a good book.
I loved this story and you are so right about trying to have a positive attitude about life thank you so very much for the reminder. Can't wait for the next book!!!
I like the characters in this story. The story is well written and funny. There are some serious concerns and conversations between the characters that are well written and explained. I’ve enjoyed every book that I’ve read and look forward to reading the next book,
Another great story to this series. Lisa oliver, continues to surprise me with the most unusual shifters. I'm not going to say what Cam is. But I will say that I had to Google his, other half. I just needed to see what it looked like. Can't wait for the next book.
Fergus is officially my favorite character. So sweet with a sense of innocence about him. And we finally get a story for Cam! He has been hiding in the shadows of the previous books for way too long!
