Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I really enjoyed this one.
Jake and Teagan met nine months ago, they had a one night stand. Since that night Jake has been searching for Teagan, she disappeared that night. Jake heads to Teagan's hometown and watches for her when he sees her in the local paper with a newborn baby. Jake brings Teagan their son Nathan and Teagan's fiancée to his parents house for Christmas so that his parents can met their grandson. Jake can tell that Teagan is tired and soon finds out her fiancé Chris doesn't help her out. Jake tries to help Teagan as much as he can with their son, and his mother helps too. Every night Teagan's fiancé goes out and he tells her he's meeting clients. When Jake and his brother Josh go out to caught up they find Teagan's fiancé, Chris there with another woman. When Teagan's fiancé kisses the woman, Jake goes to his table and asks him what he's doing, when he tells him he's just having some fun. Jake punches Chris and it takes his brother Josh and the bar owner to pull Jake off of Chris. Jake tells the bar owner to make Chris leave, and tells him he needs to go and tell Teagan what he's been doing. When Teagan's fiancé Chris comes home he tells her he wants to head to their house. When Teagan sees the cuts and bruises on Chris's face she asks him what happened and he tells her that Jake did it because he's jealous. Teagan agrees to go home, but then she notices something is off and she can smell a woman's perfume on him. Teagan and Chris start to pack their things and get everything into the car, Jake comes home and finds out Chris didn't tell Teagan what happened. Jake tries to tell Teagan what Chris was doing at the bar. Teagan has to ask Jake's brother Josh what happened, when he tells her she tells both of them she's headed home by herself. Jake begs Teagan not to leave but she just wants to be alone. The next day is Christmas and Jake doesn't want to get out of bed, but he does, he has a wonderful meal and wonders what Teagan is having. Jake soon asks his mother if he can have some containers and takes a meal to Teagan. Teagan tells Jake she's been up all night thinking she was with Chris for all the wrong reasons. Teagan tells Jake the night she spend with him was the happiest she's ever been. Jake tells Teagan he felt it too, he loves her. Teagan asks Jake if they can take things slow. Two weeks later, Teagan is with Jake living in his parent's home. Teagan is enjoying the extra help she gets from both Jake and his parents with their son Nathan. Teagan checks on her son and soon Jake comes to check also, she asks him if his parents are out. Teagan pulls Jake to her and kisses her, then she tells him she wants to go to his room, he picks her up and carries her to his room. Jake pleasures Teagan then they make love. One year later, Jake, Teagan and Nathan are back at his parents for Christmas. Jake's brother Josh is there with Jo as well. Jake and Teagan moved out of his parents six months ago and have their own place. Both Jake and Josh stand and tell everyone they have an announcement. Josh tells Jake he can go first, Jake announces that he and Teagan are getting married. Then Josh tells everyone that him and Jo are getting married. Everyone congratulations each other, a double wedding!

Jake spent an amazing three days and one night with Teagan about a year ago but she left without giving him her number. He tried to find her but it was not until about a week ago that he finally discovered where she was and then that she had a baby which was his. Add to the surprise that she is engaged to Chris who is her high school sweetheart. Now they are all at Jake's parents home for the holidays................nothing complicated at all her folks!!!
Jake would love nothing more than to have Teagan and Nathan all for himself. But Teagan is attached to Chris, even though he does not give her any help and leaves her alone all day and most evenings. So Jake is trying to be there for her and help her the best he is able to and that she will allow him to.
But on Christmas Eve something happens that may just get Jake his Christmas wish or it could be his worst nightmare. When things don't quite go his way Jake realizes that he will have to make his wish come true by going after it.
This is a sweet and lovely short story which is completely engaging. The story-line is nice draws you in from the first page to the last while you read this in one sitting. Plus there is a bit of sizzle added in, just enough to melt some snow and hearts with. I would recommend this to everyone. Make sure you also read His Curvy Christmas Treat first.

Teagan and Jake shared an amazing time together but after three days she vanished on him. When Teagan learns that she's pregnant she goes back to her hometown to settle down. Jake never gave up hope at finding her when he runs into her again he finds out about their child and that she's engaged to another man. Chris is the safe stable choice so Teagan stays with him but decides to take the baby to meet its grandparents and Jake. When Chris bails on supposed business no one really believes it but they want to get to know Teagan so they say nothing. That is until Jake and his family go out for a drink and catch Chris in his lie. Will Teagan believe Jake when he tells her what they saw? Will she give Jake a chance to be a family?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first page on. The chemistry between them is sizzling hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

His Curvy Christmas Obsession penned by Sadie King chronicles the romantic journey of Teagan and Jake. Jake was mentioned briefly in the first book about his brother Josh. Jake and Teagan meet through a modeling agency and had a one-night stand that was unforgettable. It left Teagan pregnant and believing that a relationship with Jake would not last. She returns to an ex-boyfriend, Chris. However, Jake never forgot her. He searched for her, found her, and sought her out. Learning he fathered her son, he wants to be involved in the child’s life. His primary objective is to reconnect her. Can he? You must read this book to see what unfolds. I enjoy Ms. King’s writing style. Her dialog is outstanding. Her characters are multi-dimensional and quite likeable which contributes to the reader cheering this couple on. I appreciate the manner in which this story is told through a dual POV. The descriptive scenes help to capture readers’ attention. Well done, Ms. King.

Missed it’s mark
I read one of Sadie King’s stories in a collection along with another author I really like. I actually spent the last few days reading all of her books. They’re fun short reads and I’ve enjoyed all of them until this one. Teagan was an awful character and I know they had a kid together but you don’t need to be with someone to be a parent. She truly was unlikeable and didn’t match the other women from the rest of Sadie’s books. This book unlike the others felt disjointed and for a short read, that’s not good. I would also recommend better proofreading, there were some issues throughout all of the books while minor they can be a distraction. Proper word usage is extremely important.

After reading the first book in this series, Josh and Jo’s story, I couldn’t wait to immediately dive into Jake and Teagan’s story in book 2. And just like book 1, I didn’t want it to end. This was a short, holiday, second chance romance with a very happy ending!
The only thing I didn’t like, was how Teagan had no intention of telling Jake about his son. I don’t like that and had a hard time liking Teagan. Then when everything with her current fiancé went down she was going to just up and leave without even telling Jake. I always have a hard time liking a heroine who does that because the child’s not only hers, and Jake was such a stand up guy who did way more for her than her fiancé did.

Teagan had Jake's baby, but just got around to telling him. She's engaged Chris now, her hometown boyfriend, because he's the safe choice. Teagan, Chris and the baby are spending Christmas with Jake's parents so they can get to know the baby. Chris is spending all of his time out with clients. Really? Does anybody believe this? Will Jake have a chance to make a family with Teagan and their son? This is a really nice Christmas story. Teagan could be any of us - overwhelmed at the loss of career and the addition of a baby.

You should read book books to get the complete stories of both men in this family. Jake and Teagan met a year ago. They had several beautiful days together and then she was gone. Jake looked for her all that time because he fell in love with her. He found her in her hometown, living and engaged to her old high school boyfriend. Jake also found out he had a son. He had to find a way to get her and his son back. Read what they go through. You'll also find out how Josh and Jo are doing. I really enjoyed this book and hope you will as well. Written by Cindy :)

A baby for Christmas - Jake tracked Teagan back to her hometown. One night will never be enough for him. When he finds out he's a daddy, he couldn't be happier. But she has a fiance so they are a no-go. No matter. He'll have them all over for Christmas, a gift of baby love to his parents. Plus he'll be able to look after Teagan, an area in which Chris is slacking. Only when Chris's true colors are unearthed will she allow herself room to fall for Jake. An awkward introduction to the family but it all works out in the end. And she couldn't do better than Jake, who looks after her welfare in all ways. A little steamy when she finally gets more than two winks of sleep.

Brilliant read
Loved this one following Jake and how he finds the model Teagarden he spent three nights with but she has a fiancé and a Baby big surprise the baby is his. Jake can sense Teagan isn’t happy also she isn’t getting any help with Nathan his son so he stays around but then offers for Teagan come to his parents over Christmas with her fiancé Chris and obviously Nathan. Jake is devastated that Teagan is in a relationship but a trip to the pub with his brother reveals what Chris has been upto when he is meant to be meeting his clients which he does every night.

Jake never gave up hope of finding Teagan after the 3 wonderful days they spent together. She sure surprised him when he saw the baby with her. He knows the baby is his. He just has to figure out how to convince her to let him back i to their lives.

An interesting and entertaining quick read that is emotionally deep guaranteed to tug on your heartstrings. Strong characters; the chemistry between them is intense. This book is well written and the drama and ups and downs make it quite the page turner. Definitely recommended.

Yes! Now this one did it for me! I didn’t care for book one as much but this one I really enjoyed! Even for being a short story it was paced great! Not rushed. Not cringy insta. It was just right. It had a great story line. I enjoyed all the characters in this one, except for Chris of course. Super cute little Christmas read. Definitely Hallmark worth!

Instalove. Quick Christmas love story. As I said, in my last review of book 1, I didn’t like the virtual audio. I feel like it would’ve been better with a real person reading the story. I did kind of like this story more than I liked story number one. I don’t know if I’ll continue the Instalove stories though.

This is a sequel in the series that give the POV from Jake, Josh’s brother, and Teagan, Josh’s love interest. There wasn’t really a direct explanation early on of the characters until their roles were finally stated later on.
This sequel was not as good as the first but was still a predictable HEA.

Some good parts, some not so good
I was intrigued by this book after the ending in the previous story. I think parts worked well (I loved how caring the MMC was). But the FMC was all over the place, and I really struggled with the idea that she was keeping the pregnancy/child secret from him.
Still, the end was satisfying.

Soooo cute!
This is the second book, so read the other one first. I thought this book was wonderful! Teagan has just had a baby and her fiancee doesn't get how she's feeling. Make on the other hand just wants to love her. Loved the ending!!!

I have so many thoughts that I can't say because. . Spoilers 🤦♀️... but i enjoyed this quick, Christmasy read. After reading Josh and Jo's story, I needed to know what happened with Jake, and things were not what I expected. All the emojis.. 🤯😍😠🥹🫠🤬🤣😥😍🥵.
