Like all of these books, this one includes everything I could want it to. It's a great book for a caregiver to read with a child to try to get them past this worrisome childhood practice.

I grew up on these books and absolutely love them! The Help Me Be Good books are great for young children. My children also loved them when they were young.

I've been the victim of theft more times than I've had hot baths, or so it seems. Obviously, none of the people who stole from me read this book and, even if they did, they really wouldn't care.

I guess this is aimed at rich kids who never had to steal to survive ... or even thought about stealing, except as something new and exciting to do.

The book also calls taking something by accident, or borrowing something and forgetting to return it, as forms of theft. Now, I'm no saint, but I think that's a little harsh.

The book advises any kid who steals to return all stolen items or pay for what was stolen.

Yeah, like that's ever gonna happen in the real world.

The art was much better than the text.

Such a great book for kids and adults to read together!! Joy Berry has a wonderful way of bringing things to a kids level to help them understand things better. Sometimes as an adult we forget kids see and process the world differently than us.

This series is wonderful for any home or classroom! I want them for he community center where I work!!

Love this

I am reading this to my sons so that can visually see and understand that stealing is wrong. I used to have the cartoons on vhs that covered this book series and I loved them as a child.

I used to use these books in my preschool rooms to discuss behavior and how to act. I like the way they present things to children, but they're maybe a bit too old school and not really about self-management. I prefer different books now.
