The boat’s leaving the dock—get Savage Coast and join the pulse-pounding ride now…
Jack Hardin currently lives in Arlington, TX, with his stunning wife and five kids. He grew up in an Army family and spent half his childhood living in Germany, traveling all over Europe prior to the fall of the Iron Curtain. At nine years old he walked through Checkpoint Charlie and into East Berlin just one year before the Berlin Wall came down. He holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo, is proficient with bo staff and nunchucks, and has taught women's self-defense.
Those alone do not make him awesome, but it all sounds really cool.
You’ll find Jack’s books to be in the same vein as Wayne Stinnett, Dawn Lee McKenna, and Randy Wayne White. In other words...dig in...you’re about to be seriously entertained.
Jack is driven by grace, the bedrock of his Christian faith. Shoot him an email and let him know what you think of his books. Or to give him your opinion of the moon landing, or whether or not you think it's a sin to squeeze the toothpaste tube from the middle.

Books 1-4 in the Pine Island Coast Suspense Series form one larger story arc, with everything tied up in Book 4. Books 5+ will all be standalone installments.
An entertaining, fun read, with humorous banter between the main characters, suspense, action and a surprising twist at the end. Another story about being careful who trust. And most of the action takes place in the Florida Keys. I’m a sucker for Florida books, starting way back with John D. MacDonald's Travis McGee series. (I used to do some work in Bahia Mar Marina back in the '70s. If you don’t know the reference, you should really read the series. You won’t regret it.) Well-written start to a new series. I’ve already downloaded book #2 from Kindle Unlimited. From the book and experience: "There was something about walking into an island bar that causes all your worries to slip from your shoulders.” That and a grouper sandwich will do it every time.
This books definitely hit the mark! Great character development, suspense, comedy, action, surprise - all neatly wrapped up in a 3 hour read. You won’t want to put this down. I’m excited to see what Savage’s next adventure will be!
An awesome and fun read! Ryan Savage deals out justice with an iron hand and a steady aim. Jack Hardin and Jason Briggs together have a great new series!
This book is in my wheelhouse. It is the genre that I like, and the author(s) did a really good job of telling and developing this story. It is not long, 212 pages, so it took me about 3 hours to finish, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Ryan, Brad, Roscoe, Amy, Kathleen, and the others were the kind of characters that you like in this kind of story. The plot twisted together like strands in a rope, and when you realize what and why it is happening, you think ... I should have seen that. If you like the action adventure type of books, particularly those that are set in the Florida Keys, you will love this book. I recommend it.
The action doesn’t stop and the cases are always evolving. The characters and their dynamics are fun. I love how the book opened with a major scene and then backtracked…it made me all upset as we got to know the characters and I fell in love with their work and friendship chemistries. Great dialogue and vivid descriptions. This was a fun book full of crime solving, intrigue, betrayal and action. Ryan is a cocky but sweet character with some baggage and one heck of a job. This seems like a good series and I look forward to more of his and Brads cases and friendship, hopefully more of RC and the bar, Amy and the beautiful descriptions of the keys and boats!
Picked this one to read because Jack Hardin is listed as co-author. In reality he just added his name to a re-release of a book written by Jason Briggs. This is all laid out in the "Forward" of the novel. At just over 200 pages it's almost a novella rather than novel. Quick read.
Pretty standard Florida Keys thriller. Ryan Savage works as an investigator for an off shoot of Homeland Security. As the reader learns early on, he doesn't follow the usual law enforcement rules of arrest.
Not as well written as Hardin's other work, Ellie O'Connor thrillers, but it will keep your attention if this genre is in your wheel house. As it's part of Amazon's Unlimited library, it's free to read. Part of a series, but with recurring characters, not a continuing story.
Most definitely a "who dunnit" series of ongoing adventures that you will enjoy following!
Definitely five stars worthy from beginning to end! The Author's uncanny descriptiveness of each and every exciting episode will certainly appease your innermost expectations! No slow downs throughout this compelling series of realistically motivated investigative reporting that successfully depicts how crooked some good guys can become, when money is involved! Mr. Hardin is unsurpassed in his descriptive storylines that successfully maintains your undivided attention immediately, and never falters throughout this compelling series of realistically motivated investigative techniques! Too, the character selections were outstandingly portrayed from beginning to end! Their actions will appease your innermost expectations cover to cover! I am a western folklore follower, but will enjoy an exceptionally outstanding mystery ever once in a while. I have read some of Savage's other stories, but apparently bypassed this one for some reason! Do yourselves a favor and enjoy this compelling series of unending investigative techniques, as I assure you to be completely entertained throughout the entire series of unending investigative techniques!!!😃
Ryan Savage is an investigator for a Homeland Security agency, whose base of operations is Southern Florida and the Caribbean. Fast paced with great descriptions of the locale. Interesting characters involved in preventing a timely threat to the American heartland. Can’t wait for book #2 of this series.
Savage Coast was a fun read. The action was non-stop, the characters believable, and the plot held my interest from beginning to end. I liked the setting in Key Largo and the Keys in Florida. Ryan and Brad, his partner, catch international bad guys. I'll read more by Jack Hardin.
An excellent book! Plenty of adventure and intrigue, good guys and bad guys, with lots of interesting twists to the plot. This could be made into a really good movie!
Loved the characters and storyline. I c an see so many ways you can take ryan and brad on adventures main land keys Caribbean looking forward to there next adventure also for me your book was a page Turner already downloaded book 2
A very good read on a rainy afternoon. The characters are well developed and the plot has a number of twists and turns. The accuracy of the Florida setting adds to the credibility.
