Okay
Biginning a bit off in the last of book 2 Kane and briar seemed closer to each other and he couldn't wait to start his life with her but now start of book 3 and they are avoiding each other which I think is kinda strange I would think that he would be trying to see her more and it also said in second book that they would be leaving to otherside of the under world within a day or two but they way briar talks like it may have been more then a couple days because of her nightmares or it may feel like that because she doesn't sleep well so that was a little off for me and not 100 percent sure why the heck Lilith is lurking around the halls. but she is and I'm not sure I liked the way the writing went when Kane got possesed by the death before him it just felt rushed but it still had a whole lot of action and hard to get romance that is still worth the read if you read the two before it

Excellent continuation leaving you at the edge of your seat and desperate for more. With every twist and turn their is another fork you never see coming and no matter how far in the story you get your thirst is never quenched. You always NEED more. I was thoroughly entertained from beginning to end and the only other series I fell in love with this much was Amelia Hutchins Fae Chronicles Series. Such a unique perspective a very different outlook on lore contained in its own universe it can only keep me guessing at best to find out through it all I have learned nothing.

Good gripping read !
Loving this series...Kane, Briar and his second in command Willam go on travels to find a crown of the last king of the Underworld. Kane a Briar fight a battle of lust for each other along the way. Briar is fighting against her guilt and feelings for Kane knowing she cant go through with her promise that she made to her father to kill Kane!
Kane seems to realise more and more each day that Briar is for him , he wants her but holds back as he knows that Briar is still hiding something from him. All his thoughts are on Briar and retrieving the Crown...but will any good come of it?

Briar needs to woman up!
Briar’s emotional and timid state I think is what frustrates me the most. After all she has been through and all she continues to go through I feel she should be stronger or at least use her emotions to make her stronger. I think emotions and feelings then fully make a person stronger especially in self and yet it seems that hers only bring her back down. I wish to have more confidence in her but the way she lets things consume her and not for the better is maddening. Hopefully she is better in the next book. If not I’m not sure I could continue with the series.

Each book in this series I have not managed to put down, this one is definitely no exception.

Briar and Kane are still fighting their bond. Willem is still being an antagonist to the truth degree. They are traveling across deadly lands to recover a crown that Kane wants. Briar doesn’t know what’s going on but the bad feeling won’t stop. There’s a lot of anxiety inducing moments. Fast paced and attention gripping keeps you on the edge of the seat as they fight their way to their treasure. The narrator does wonderfully, giving all the characters such personality! It’s getting good y’all!

I was gifted with an ARC of this book and I was NOT disappointed. I am on this journey till the end! So many questions answered just to raise more questions. Bailey loves to keep us on our toes and this third installment is no exception. One moment you think you have the characters nailed down and then Bailey Dark (most likely laughs maniacally) makes you’re head spin and your asking What? How? When? I’m so unsure who to trust! And I love it!!!

January 27, 2020Another fascinating installment to this series! As we continue Briar and Kane's love story you can't help but sizzle with all the Sparks flying. Even as Briar follows Kane down his path of self destruction that seems obvious to everyone but Kane, you feel for her as she stresses over her confusion to kill Kane or finally give in to her lustful fantasy. I cannot wait for Book 4!

All of the books in the series thus far have kept me riveted at the edge of my seat, and this was no exception.
I love the dark fantasy setting and lore of these books... they're so much more than "a romance series." The storytelling and mythos hold their own, and the romance just adds that extra little sauce that makes them all the more irresistible.
We're starting to discover more about Briar in this novel... turns out, she's not such a puny mortal after all. There's something truly powerful within her, and she's turning out to be quite the match for Kane.
I've become so invested in the characters and their relationships with each other. The dynamics are on fire! And the epic adventure keeps the ride going. I can't wait for the next book.

ehh..
I feel like this was rushed. The misspellings and the half sentences are really disappointing. This isn’t a large book. So I don’t know if it’s just lack of proofreading or what. But alas I will continue on with the series because despite the grammatical errors, there is a good story here.

Keeps getting better
The quest for the crown continues. More battles with dark creatures. Briar is coming into her own powers. Kane realizes he cannot live without her. And then things go terribly wrong. Evil is unleashed and a plan must be made to destroy it.
A page turner full of action, mystery and romance. Can’t wait to keep reading this series!

Interesting read different from what I usually read
These books are so much different from what I normally read. And some of it is a little boring and other parts I wished would get more attention. ;)
This book series could have been so much more than it is. But I still haven’t put it down.

Wonderful, spellbinding!!!!
This series as I said before is just perfection. I don't want the stories to end. Ms Dark's work is so uniquely creative and captivating. Trust me once you read her books she will become an instant favorite.

Good storytelling
The story is interesting throughout the entire book. There is a depth to each MC and also supporting characters. Ends in suspense.

I didn't realize I was reading Bailey Dark series and wish I did. Didn't even finish this 3rd installment. The emotional disjointed roller coaster just makes me mad.

The plot thicks
I'm officially sucked into this glacial burn fantasy romance. The writing is improving in this one. A lot less lip licking. Spice level 1🌶/5.

I really liked how much closer Briar and Kane seem to be getting. They still have their moments where they butt heads and drift apart again, though.
I do like the alternating POVs and the added pov towards the end from Drogaem was a nice touch.
My predictions about Willem and Aiden were right and it was interesting to see how Briar handled everything. It has been nice to see Briar's growth and change throughout this series.
The pacing was good, as was the world building.
I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this series as it seems to get better with each book.
