Dr. Berg completed his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1998 at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa and is a board-certified chiropractor in three states. In his earlier years, Dr. Berg completed 2 years of undergraduate pre-med studies at University of Wisconsin Parkside and trained as an X-Ray technician in the Army Reserves. He spent 29 years as a full-time practitioner in Alexandria, Virginia.

Dr. Berg no longer practices, but currently does full-time education sharing vital knowledge about the human body and health through social media, videos, and conventions.

Dr. Berg's book does a good job of explaining the problems faced by those with insulin resistance, a primary cause of weight gain and other health issues as we age. One of his principles is that the best diet and exercise program for an individual is dependent upon their body type, which he breaks into 4 categories. Although I went through his test to determine my body type, I felt the test was inconclusive for me, which largely reduces the usefulness of the book. Also, I found the meal plan to be something I'd have a very hard time adhering to for an extended period. However, there were some concepts I strongly agree with such as the notion of intermittent fasting to reduce insulin resistance. Overall, I felt the book was helpful in identifying the problems we all face, but not necessarily (for me) a practical solution.

Do you have health conditions?
Do you struggle with weight?
Do you struggle with Insulin Resistance and Diabetes?
Do you struggle with pain and inflammation?
Do you struggle with skin conditions?
Digestion issues?
Do you have belly fat? If so you have Insulin issues from eating to many carbohydrates and consuming sugar.

Did you know high Insulin levels is what leads to health conditions? Thyroid issues , liver issues, the list goes on!

I HIGHLY recommend this book. It will teach you everything you need to know. This is by far the best health advice! Its not your typical fad keto diet!!

Its based on whole food nutrient dense foods. Moderate protein amounts and healthy fats. The carbs you eat should be from vegetables and nuts/ seeds etc. You eat to nourish your body. Carbohydrates and sugar are not good for you and you will find out the science behind it. Myths regarding food will be explained.

You will find out what your body type is from reading this book and learn which foods to eat to fuel your body and you will also learn exactly what type of exercises to do to boost fat burning.

You will learn about hormones. You will learn about why its important to eat organic foods and why it’s important to only consume grass fed meats. You will learn why GMO foods are TOXIC for us.

Honestly the list goes on what you will learn by reading this book. Dr Berg is well educated and very informative. He has thousands of YouTube videos addressing anything related to health, nutrition. Etc.

For the first time in 14 years I learned to heal my body and lose weight thanks to this health advice. I tried for years to lose weight and failed over and over again! This book will help you heal your glands and get your hormones in check. You will focus on healing everything that harmful foods destroyed in your body and by healing your body is how you will lose weight and help to reverse health conditions.

Eat the foods nature provided not all the man made junk that big corporations profit off of keeping you sick and fat 🖤

Great health advice, but the diet part is US-centric. The content is not organised properly, but 4 stars for being accurate!
