He liked fast and loose—she was sweet and innocent.

Firefighter Brice Lancaster lived his life by a set of rules: No commitments, no attachments, no promises. Three rules that were easy to follow—rules that kept his heart safe, rules that should’ve kept his best friend’s cousin out of his bed.
So what was it about Quinn that made him lose his mind? Maybe it was her shiny midnight hair that made him forget he hated attachments. Or her emerald eyes that made him want to promise her the world. Or her sexy smile that made him insane with lust and the need to claim her innocence and keep her.

Quinn Walker didn’t believe in boundaries—never had. She’d spent her life bouncing from one thing to the next—the wild child of the group. So when Quinn moves in next door to the man she’s crushed on for years, she knew she was in trouble. Big, strong, tatted, sexy firefighter trouble. Or maybe it was Brice that was in trouble because Quinn wasn’t going to let this golden opportunity slip through her fingers. No wasn't an option.

It was supposed to be just fun.
They’d agreed on no strings.
Blinded by lust, they both gave in.
Brice broke his rules. Quinn let herself fall in love.

Then, in a cruel twist of fate, everything went up in smoke. Will one of them be strong enough to be honest—or was it all just a game?

Hot firefighter romance!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 🖤💙❤️💜💚
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍
Character development: 😚☹️😉🥰
Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Quinn Walker - she lives in an apartment next door to Brice Lancaster, the hot firefighter that she has had a crush on for years. Brice works with Quinn’s best friend Jackson which made her off-limits for him. Quinn has a desk job, which she hated. But she liked her apartment, and she liked to eat, so she accepted the job that her father got her at Triple Canopy.

The Hero: Brice Lancaster - he is a firefighter and a player. He has an intense fear of commitment and doesn’t plan on ever having a lasting relationship. He had a messed-up family, including an uncle with a string of wives. Quinn Walker was #1 on his list of women to avoid, since he never planned on having sex with her and didn’t want to get into anything deeper with any woman.

The Story: One day when Brice came home after spending hours in the emergency room with a burn on his arm, he found himself at Quinn’s place sharing a meal with her. In the next few weeks, they crossed paths more often than ever before and Brice could not deny his attraction to Quinn. He couldn’t have her and tried to make her hate him, though he can’t seem to stay away from her.

I kind of liked the fact that though Brice was known as a playboy and he admitted that he had been with many women, he hadn’t been with any in the six months since Quinn moved in next door to him. Also, I liked the fact that he appreciated what a special person Quinn was and thought that she was too good for him, which he told her is why he stayed away from her. He treated her so good when he was with her.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Devon Grace and Troy Duran. Troy is one of my favorite male narrators. I just love his deep and sexy voice. He is a terrific narrator as well and does different voices for different characters. Devon has a clear feminine voice that sounded age appropriate for the heroine. She also has a good voice for a quirky character like Quinn. These two have narrated a bunch of books together and do an excellent job.

Well I am going to begin my review by saying that I have read all of the Next Generation books and Quinn and Brice's story is a great addition to the series! Quinn Walker has been a favorite character of mine since I read about her as the best friend of Jackson in Claiming Tuesday. She's her father's daughter and a force to be reckoned with! Brice has taken notice of Quinn from the moment he met her through his friend and coworker Jackson. Not only had Jackson warned him away from making any moves on Quinn but Brice has his own issues and doesn't feel he is worthy of Quinn no matter how much he is drawn to her. Well Quinn being the determined Walker that she is plans to get her man! Quinn's plate becomes impossibly full between keeping her relationship with Brice secret from her family as well as witnessing a murder. Keeping Quinn was a great romantic suspense story that was full of family, love, lust, action and triumph. It was told from dual POV and I cannot wait to read about what comes next in the Next Generation series!

Honestly, y'all, I have a love-hate relationship with Grammarly. I love Grammarly for helping me with my darn comma splices, passive voice, and over-use of the same word (hello Synonym.Com). However, this review is the second one I have typed to have it disappear into the vast black-hole that is the ether. I don't know, what I had typed could have been mind-blowingly awesome, but I will never know because it is gone gone gone. And now, I am sitting here trying to remember everything I said about Quinn. So here goes:

I just shut my Kindle. I am now staring blankly ahead as the months loom before I get my next book involving this bunch of people that I love. I have been with this group of people from the 707 series with Shane and Lily (Carter and Ethan's parents), Jasper and Emily (Jason, Delaney, Quinn, Hadley, and Adalyn's parents), Levi and Blake (Liberty's parents), and Nolan and Reagan (Nick and Jackson's parents). I've seen their children grow, and now they are marrying and having children. I enjoy each book more as I watch these families grow and change seasons of life. I am not ready for these people to go, and thankfully I don't believe Riley is prepared for them to end either. You know, Riley, we could even venture into another generation if we wanted to. Just sayin'.

I honestly started laughing early in this book. Quinn is a charming and endearing character. She's full of sass, personality, and humor. Poor Brice had no chance; she's that cute. On top of that, she has a hilarious crew of girls, Bridgette and Paula, who shouldn't get out in public together. I just about peed myself laughing at the antics of these three. As I said, Brice had no chance. Quinn is the type of girl you would want as your friend; better yet, I would love her as a BFF for my daughters. Brice and his walls and reasons didn't stand a chance. I've liked female characters in the past, a lot of them, but Quinn is in the top 5 of all time. She's just all that.

Riley manages to balance that sunny disposition with a solid story with some suspense that sneaks up on you. I mean, you're reading thinking things are moving along just like they're supposed to and then WHAMMO! She throws in a plot twist that leaves you shaken and in tears. It adds to the overarching story that has threaded through all the books since the 707 Series began, and she weaves all of it lovingly. This book is another in the long line of superb stories that I have become to equate with Riley Edwards. Whether it is the Red Team, Gold Team, Gemini Group, or this saga that encompasses the 707 Series and the Next Generation excellent writing and imagination and lovingly drawn characters inhabit each and every one. I know it's not over, but here I sit, waiting for the next one. It didn't help that Riley left us with a delectable cliffhanger for the next book. So, deep breath, stare at my Kindle waiting, waiting, waiting.

Every time I pick up one of Riley Edwards’ books it feels like coming home to reconnect with old friends. Her writing style pulls you in, has you invested in the characters and in their happiness, and keeps you engaged in the story from beginning to end. Her fun, sassy, strong ladies and her gruff, overbearing, alpha men will hold you in suspense until they get what they want the way they want it.

I am not sure what I can say about this book that has not already been mentioned in other reviews. So, I will just say that I loved this book! I smiled, I laughed, and yes, I ugly cried. Under a dim light, curled up in my comfy chair with a cup of tea and my kindle after the house had gone to sleep, I grabbed a box of tissue and dove into Brice and Quinn’s beautifully written journey filled with fun, laughter, light-hearted conversations, hilarious outings with friends, gripping drama and emotional turmoil, trepidation and bravery, weakness and strength, unwavering bonds of brotherhood and family, determination, and most importantly a love that knows no bounds, that runs deep and strong and that will last forever.

This book has everything you could hope for and more contained within its’ pages to make a fantastic, heart-wrenching story with charming, engaging characters and a gripping storyline that will knock your socks off. Prepare to settle in and grab a box of tissues and get ready for an amazing story. Brice and Quinn fight hard for their happy ending and with what all they go through, they definitely deserve it. And from the snippet shared at the end of their story, I cannot wait to get my hands on Taking Liberty.

These two start off as neighbors.. then Friends with benefits... then more.

Brice is Jackson's best friend and a firefighter. He's known as a player... never wanting to get in a commitment. Quinn is Jason's younger sister.

“Never loved another woman, Jasper. Never not once have I felt anything close to what I feel for Quinn. Never thought about taking a wife. Never thought about having kids. But when I look at her, I know she’s it for me. Every time I see her smile, I know with absolute certainty I’m waking up to that smile every morning for the rest of my life. And when she turns those eyes my way, and she stares at me like she’s seeing me for the first time, it hits me so hard I have to fight to keep standing because I want to fall to my knees and beg her to never stop loving me.” Brice 🥰

Another absolutely fabulous story by Ms. Edwards. Her creations are absolutely awe inspiring, you, as the reader, are right there IN the story that she writes. You are part of the family. Brice has been living the high life as a firefighter, women come to him, he doesn't even have to work at it, it's the flavour of the week. He's got a new neighbour, Quinn Walker, his best friend's best friend. He's been warned off by Jackson, and he's doing his best, but Quinn has other ideas, she literally snags him as he's walking by her apartment door, and then the sparks fly. They are under everyone's radar for a while, but then one dinner with her parents, and it all starts to unravel. It's explosive and jaw dropping. The way Brice supports Quinn and stands up for Quinn, to everyone including her father, it's sweet, emotional and inspirational. If every guy could be like Brice, the world would be a better place. The end of the book is so very emotional and its a definite page turner. I highly recommend this book, this series and this author. I am so grateful that I am part of this ARC team as it makes me try to be a better person due to Ms. Riley's vision for all her characters.

Either it’s Suspense Romance or Contemporary Romance, Riley Edwards always nails it!!
With every book I read by Riley, I say that it’s my new favorite. This book had all the feels.
I’ve laughed, swooned and yes, I’ve cried.
I hope Riley never stop writing and that this series never ever ends.

Love Quinn!! Liked her as Jackson best friend in Claiming Tuesday and fell in love with her in this book.
She’s strong, sassy, sweet and loves her family very much.
Quinn is attracted to Brice Lancaster for a long time. He’s best friend of her best friend.

Brice..swooonnn..love him so much!!
Brice was alpha, protective, sexy and a wonderful man.
He always was attracted to Quinn.
But doesn’t think he us worthy of her and he doesn’t believe in relationships.

What I most love about this series is the love of the family. You feel like they are your family too. So protective of each other.
Different from all of Riley’s other books, this was more contemporary with a little suspense.
It was perfect.
I’ll be counting the days for the next book.

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ STARS!!

Every once in a while you come across a book that is so exceptionally written that you imagine yourself being right there with the characters....celebrating their triumphs, feeling their pain, and crying right along with them. Keeping Quinn was THAT book for me. Quinn and Brice have been fighting their attraction to one another for a long time, but when they finally get together...nuclear explosion🔥🔥🔥You get all the feels in this book with some serious twists and turns that have you sitting on the edge of your seat and unable to turn the pages fast enough. The secondary characters were written beautifully and you see the true meaning of family through to the end. And what an ending! I cannot wait to read the next one. You made me cry ugly tears, Riley Edwards...but this book was worth every single one❤️❤️❤️

I was elated to read this newest book in the Next Generation series. The characters are dynamic, interesting, complex and extremely likeable. They meld effortlessly into intriguing, dramatic and emotionally charged storyline. Riley Edwards did a phenomenal job of illustrating what a violent crime witness feels and thinks in the aftermath. The toll it takes on the witness and their loved ones as they navigate the legal system minefields. You might need a tissue or ten as events play out.

Quinn Walker is beautiful, sassy and finally finding her place oin the world. Brice Lancaster is a good man, dedicted firefighter and a self described player. These two have been eying each other since their teens. Finally giving into their attraction they begin a no strings friends with benefits relationship. Only one problem, both quickly develop feelings but don't know how to act on them. It takes some sage advice and a lot of hard work on Brice's part to finally convince Quinn they're the real deal.

I absolutely loved this book! I laughed and cried and totally enjoyed it. It is full of humor, drama, suspense and love. Quinn has had a crush on Brice forever. She knows he is a manwhore and decides she wants him and she’ll take him on his terms...sex only. Sexy fireman Brice has secretly wanted Quinn since he met her at a family gathering he attended with his best friend Jackson. He can’t resist Quinn’s proposal and after spending time with her he finds himself wanting more than sex from her. They have kept the affair a secret because Jackson is Quinn’s best friend also and her cousin. He has also declared her off limits as far as Brice is concerned. Quinn and Brice face loosing Jackson’s friendship and their relationship and Quinn witnesses a crime that puts her life in danger. This is a great addition to the Next Generation Series.

WOW! I was a little scepticle going in to reading this book as Ms. Edwrds had warned that it was the action packed, suspense story that she usually writes, due to the characters being a little uncooperative. BUT I have to say the "action" isn't missed, Quinn and Brice are fantastic characters that pull the reader into the story immediately. Quinn is sneaky at getting her way in a sweet and straight forward way that makes you chuckle when you realise what she's actually done! Love this book, can't wait for the next one. Love the way the the older generation is involved, wish my Dad was a Jasper. Big thumbs up!!

I loved Carter and Delaney as a couple and I didn’t think that book could be topped. Brice and Quinn are one of my favorites.
They start out as friends and a hook up , and can I say Damn, the sex is hot and you know while reading they have a connection.
I was a roller coaster of emotions with this book and Yes, I did the ugly cry with Carter’s book , but Nope this book and I
Had the ugly cry together as well. I didn’t know at first if I liked Brice , he was so darn moody but I ended up loving the big ole alpha male. Quinn is definitely a spitfire and some of the lines to her dad I had to laugh. If you loved previous books you will fall in love with this one. I read what the next book will be about and Oh my .....I can’t wait

Quinn is a sassy, beautiful woman. She was attracted to Brice from the first time she saw him. The attraction was mutual but Brice knew she was relationship material and he didn't do relationships. They come to an arrangement of sorts and from there their relationship grows .
I liked the bar scene with Brice was out with Quinn and her girlfriends. He was richly enlightened to what women talk about.
Once again you felt the love from the whole family when tragedy strikes. It can make a person envious for wishing they had the same in their lives.
You know a book is good when it engages several different emotions.Which it did for me.

I'm not always a big fan of the redeemed man-whore trope, this one was good. I really didn't expect what happened to Quinn to happen. It seemed to really make Brice pull his head out of his ass and let Quinn know for sure he was all in and for Brice to let Quinn's family, mainly her father he was all in. It was great that Quinn had that support because she needed it, especially later on. Things ended for this couple in a great way, them ready to face the world together, their families by their side.

So glad Brice got his crap sorted even if he still managed to hurt Quinn in the process they eventually got together the right way.
Quinn is strong and quiet and I love how she found a way to get her man even knowing it wasn’t truly right for her but if she got Brice anyway i she could then she believed it would work out eventually.

I am loving the second generation books! And getting to see the 707 men as parents is so awesome.

Brice and Quinn have an instant attraction that can only be fought for so long.. Their chemistry is stellar!
Brice is a firefighter with a jaded outlook on love, Quinn is just wanting any bit of Brice she can get..
What happens when they give into the attraction??

I loved Brice. I usually don't like much books where the characters start as "flings" I am totally forgiving this book because they got over that phase quickly and Brice loved Quinn so fiercely I actually swooned. oh and I actually wanted to kill Jackson at one point.

Keeping Quinn is an emotional roller coaster that left me in pieces on the floor. Gutted me, ripped out my insides, threw them on the ground, and stomped on them until there was nothing left except for the pieces on the floor. All in the best way possible. There are books that grab you from the beginning and pull on your heartstrings and won’t let go till there is nothing left, and this is one of those books. I ugly cried through this whole book and loved every minute of it. Brice and Quinn are two strong people with a lot of chemistry and together there is nothing that they cannot handle or overcome.

Riley Edwards has outdone herself again! I know I've probably said that before but this time I mean it! Well...I'm not saying I didn't mean it before just that this time...you get what I'm saying!

For those who are following along, this is book 6 in the Next Generation book series and it's Quinn's story. First, let's recap: The Next Generation books are the kiddos from the 707 guys (haven't read that series? SHAME ON YOU!). Quinn is Jasper's daughter. His second-born (daughter). His wild-child. I'm not saying his favorite buutttt.....

Brice doesn't do love. Pretty much one and done is his motto. He has his reasons but this doesn't help his reputation. He is also best friends with Jackson (Nolan & Regan's son) who is ALSO best friends with Quinnie. I know, confusing but just stay with me. Jackson and Quinn are also cousins. So it stands to reason that Jack doesn't want his BFF/cousin anywhere near playboy Brice.

So, those are the two main characters in Keeping Quinn. Now the story...it's a tad off from Riley's usual books but not in a bad way. From the very beginning of the book, the tone is different. Think of when you walk in your house and smell your favorite meal cooking but there's something "different" about the smell you can't put your finger on. You still get your romance. You still get your steamy scenes (and BOY HOWDY Riley does these WELL). But what you don't get is suspense. Riley makes up for it with lots of angst and tears (dang you Riley) and the sweetest storyline. We get to catch up with the guys from 707 and their families. Meaning this story has ALL the feels. So by the end of the book, you feel like you just had the best well-rounded meal EVER. The flavors were a little different but the food was JUST as good!

So that's my review. I loved Keeping Quinn. I loved the characters, the storyline, the whole shebang. Am I gushing? Forgive me (NOT). Riley Edwards continues to deliver outstanding books to her readers time after time. Each book is new and fresh with fabulous characters and well-developed stories. How she is able to turn these out such greatness and keep the quality and depth to each book is a wonder to me. BRAVO Riley Edwards. BRAVO.

Fabulous read. I am reading all of these out of order... and I don't care!!! I haven't even read the prequels... I am such a rebel!

I had reservations about Brice... I don't like self-proclaimed man-whores, there is something that leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth with them. Saving grace with him for me was that he didn't take home that woman. I would've definitely DNF'd it at that then.

But I liked Quinn very much... she knew what she was doing.

Am wandering off to read some more of Riley Edwards' books!

27/01/21 Re-read-athon time. I cried sooo much. I really do like this. I felt way warmer towards Brice on this read... Jackson? Not so much. Self-centered and selfish... what a brat.

This entire book reminded me so much of a Kristen Ashley novel, which only made me love it that much more. Its taken me years to find another author who can do what she does, but by God, this author has done it. Even though the writing is distinctly her own, she has the same cadence and style that makes me fall in love with the characters and story like KA does.

I started backwards and read Haley's series first. So, I had an idea of what was going to happen. Yet, even knowing, it didn't prepare me from this perspective. I loved Quinn, and moreover, I loved Bryce. These two worked so well together. I loved seeing Harper and his connection with Quinn, and his acceptance of the relationship. This book was one of my favorites.

3.25 "my woman" stars

This is my first time reading this author, and I delved into it knowing this is the sixth book in a "next-gen" series spin off from a previous serious series, 707 Freedom, and the heroine is the daughter of the hero from Freeing Jasper, in that series. Both series are full of alpha military and service men who are protectors (😃), who find their loves through found-family connections, danger, and fierce choices in life.

In this book, Brice is Quinn's cousin's best friend. He also works beside Quinn's cousin as a firefighter. Quinn has had her eyes on him but sees that he is a ladies man and shies away from commitment. Yet, when Brice lets it loose that he is very attracted, shows a thirst for her, Quinn shoots her shot.
No Strings Attached -
Little does she know, though Brice agrees, he is also the one who decides swiftly that he wants to go way beyond Quinn's "no strings" friends-with-benefits proposal.
Theo James Pictures From Divergent | POPSUGAR Entertainment
Brice and Quinn's relationship runs hot. Then it runs into family entanglement and an outside threat. During this, Brice contends with proving he's there for "his woman," loves "his woman," humbles himself and will walk through fire for "his woman."
Lick My Lips Thinking About It GIF - Lick My Lips Thinking About It - Discover & Share GIFs
3 stars for a decent non-suspenseful, non "OM or OW," adult drama that has the villains and douches getting their comeuppances and the protector heroes going gaga when they fall in love.

Decent, but little depth in relationship building, almost insta-love, and very procedural, as this book gives a peak into the next, which has one of the OG alpha male heroes' daughter becoming a PoW and needing rescue.

Happy reading

The 6th book into this second generation series and Riley Edwards just keeps getting better. It took me 4 days to finish reading this book, not because it was badly written infact it was just the opposite. 25% in, I knew this book would eviscerate me and I got scared. So I put the book down and read other books (I picked up N0S4R2 by Joe Hill, yes, it's a horror but I'm weird that way LOL) and early this morning, I picked up Keeping Quinn determined to finished it.

Hours later after missing breakfast and a load wad of tissues to wipe my tears, I'm finally done reading. Oh mighty Thoth, I need a breather and another wad of tissues because Riley Edwards raised the bar yet again with Keeping Quinn. I followed this series since the 707 days and I get to see how much my favourite OG characters has developed. It reminded me how much entrenched I am in this world that Riley Edwards created.

Each scene was so vividly written that it played like movie reels in my head as I was reading them. I didn't find any throwaway sentence or passage written just for word-count-sake. Quinn is firmly in my top heroines for this new generation, this daughter of Jasper (one of my fav 707 heroes) is sassy and have no qualms to go after what she wants. She loved hugely and at times can be reckless but that's why I really love her. She is 110% perfect for Brice, our hero who passed off as a lothario but with so much torture in his soul that he felt he's not good enough for the perfect dark haired beauty. When Brice finally gotten his act together and is all in, he is ALL IN and I love how he takes care of Quinn and fought to keep her by his side.

I cried pretty much 50% of this book but I cried snot-ugly tears during one scene as I felt the pain of the two characters, it was so painful and I had to stop (again) to collect my breathe . I also laughed quite a bit especially at the antics of Quinn's two girlfriends. I'm also very much interested to know more about Brice's 2 brothers and I dearly hope his older brother will get his own story and HEA.

This book ends with quite a cliffhanger and I cannot wait till April for "Taking Liberty". While waiting, I'll be re-reading the 707 series.

Quinn the wild child
Well this started out differently...simple friends, simple Friday night, simple neighbours. Then Quinn makes a move
And its... Game On!!!!
I admire her innocence mixed with courage and her unruly nature as it sets up her character and surroundings brilliantly. Her occupation slips me into that warm cosy blanket shared by none other than family as the amazing dads and mums do their sharing and supporting stuff through this journey.
When we focus on Brice, we see the usual stubborn alpha that needs some woman pointers, painful truths and 1 big reality check. And to think his revelations start with hot, hot scenes between them In the first part of the book. And so the "Dawning of Brice." begins where we're taken on a trip, watching him stumble, discover, relent, check his self esteem and finally come to his senses. But not without heartache, pain and emotion in the process.
The story rolls along and there was a moment i felt annoyed when 3 alphas excluded a situation where everyone should have been included, and I wondered why Riley wrote that take. Then I realised realused the character she was trying to portray, still is a little protected, sensitive and fairly naive about reality.
The relationship between her and Brice is almost a 'coming of age' for Quinn along with new love.
Quinns dilemma added an angsty twist to the back half of the novel and once again the plotline drew me in to 'no sleep' gotta know....and I fist pumped when Riley's trope re: family, gathered and rallied.
This novel of Riley's is one of her more easy reading kind, being structured around a push pull, its complicated relationship and of course family. There's no military missions but there's humour in girl talk moments and girly asserted hookups.
Overall the 'new Quinn ' just unfurls in the story right along with the 'new Brice.'
Out of tragedy comes revelation and beginnings.
Narrator's...As Always...superb. Troy (sigh) your gravelly voice gives me goosebumps. Devon was not as hushed or breathy In this story like she normally is. Quinns character is a tad unruly so I feel she needed a bit of an edge which is how Devon started, but as the uncertainties crept into the character, the narration changed to account for the emotions at play within Quinn. Well done.

Brice and Quinn

This was a great addition to the Next Generation series. It had a little bit of a different tone in that Jasper, Quinn’s dad, played a larger role in both Quinn and Brice’s character development. It had all the romance and suspense I’ve come to expect from Riley Edwards and it was surprisingly emotional.

Brice, firefighter and self proclaimed playboy, knew Quinn was different from the moment he met her, so he kept his distance. That all changes when Quinn moves in next door and she becomes more than his best friend’s cousin and female best friend. Quinn and Brice start their relationship as “just sex” but that quickly turns into more even though that “more” is not vocalized. Brice goes to his brother’s to get some distance and sort his feelings out but when he returns, Quinn is facing a nightmare neither of them expected. Brice suddenly has to fight to not only win Quinn’s heart but to keep her safe.

There were several moments in this book that stood out to me. Brice’s conversation with Quinn at the police station, Jasper’s conversations with Brice, and Brice’s confessions to Quinn, both explaining why he held himself back and revealing the misplaced guilt he felt after Quinn’s near death experience. The one thing I hated about this book was Jackson. He was a character I adored in Claiming Tuesday, but the way he reacted to Brice and Quinn was unacceptable. I could understand being disappointed your friends kept something from you, but when Quinn needed him he was absent from her life. To hold a grudge against your best friends in a time where there are more important things at stake didn’t sit well with me.

Overall this was a great book. I loved Quinn and Brice. I loved Jasper’s role in their relationship and his acceptance of Brice as Quinn’s partner. Brice went through a shift in his beliefs about relationships and love and I’m glad it wasn’t drawn out. Once he realized what he had he was all in and wasn’t going to let Quinn push him out.

Heartstrings on Fire: A Riveting Tale of Love and Loss
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Heat Level: 🔥🔥🔥

Keeping Quinn by Riley Edwards is the sixth installment in The Next Generation series, and it left me utterly captivated from start to finish. Once again, Edwards proves her prowess in crafting emotionally charged narratives that resonate deeply with readers.

From the very first page, I was swept away by the tumultuous journey of Brice Lancaster and Quinn Walker. Theirs is a story of conflicting desires and undeniable chemistry, set against the backdrop of fire and passion. As a firefighter, Brice lives by a strict code, but Quinn's presence challenges every rule he's ever known. The intensity of their connection is palpable, drawing readers into a whirlwind of emotion.

Edwards skillfully weaves together elements of mystery, romance, and heartache, creating a narrative that keeps you guessing until the very end. The dual POVs provide insight into the inner workings of both protagonists, allowing us to empathize with their struggles and root for their happiness.

What sets Keeping Quinn apart is its ability to evoke raw emotion. I found myself laughing, crying, and experiencing every heart-wrenching moment alongside the characters. Edwards doesn't shy away from exploring the complexities of love and loss, delivering a narrative that is as poignant as it is powerful.

Furthermore, the addition of audio narration adds another layer of depth to the story, enhancing the overall experience for readers. It's a testament to Edwards' dedication to her craft and her commitment to delivering a truly immersive reading experience.

In conclusion, Keeping Quinn is a gripping tale that will tug at your heartstrings and leave you breathless. With its unforgettable characters and riveting plot, it's no wonder that this book has earned its place as one of my favorites in the series. If you're looking for a romance that will keep you on the edge of your seat, look no further than Keeping Quinn.
