I've read this in English but it was a very nice look at the culture clash of a young white boy growing up in India and then moving to the US.

More appropriate as YA for YA readers interested in eastern philosophy than as an adult novel. That said, this is a reissue of a book that's been around for a long time so it's obviously hit a chord with some readers. It's a quick read if you're an adult. Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

It was nice reading it again after so much years. With what I know now, no longer a young adult, it is a simple story but I can live with my memory of it.
