Good volume, not as much scenes/chapters with loads of fanservice but there was plenty of advancing relationships (one scene/chapter at the end had a depiction of Toru naked in the bath so that was an amazing end scene). Sometimes I think there’s not much going on though, I wish there could almost be more overarching story that is being progressed towards or mentioned more; but it is slice of life so 🤷♂️
This is such a cute series, and a little but naughty, too!
Ah, Miss Kobiyashi, you are surrounded by dragons disguised as (very) busty and cute girls. Your maid really loves you. As ABBA famously sang, "Take a chance on me". I think you might find you already love her more than you realize, and she's just what you've been longing for - undying, devoted, unending love. She loves ya, girl. I had forgotten about this series, I'm glad I jumped back into it. I look forward to the next volume.
More of a 3.5 star rating; I really like that this volume showed a bit more of Telne and Azad since I was worried those newer side characters would be left behind in the story, but I was glad to see more of them interacting with the different more main characters. My favorite chapters in this volume focuses on Tohru and Kobyashi spending the day together, Saiwaka and Kanna meddling with Ilulu and Take over their future/potential love, and Tohru getting an inverted scale. Also, is it just me or did the last chapter imply that Elam has more romantic feelings for Tohru?
I really think once this volume gets animated Azad and Georgie will be the new couple everyone will be shipping. They are adorable together and its very amusing to the two of them interact. Also, it would appear as if Miss Kobayashi has something else about her no one was aware of. What could it be? It's pretty obvious if you have been paying close attention but still its going to be very entertaining when its finally revealed.
Love seeing the friendship between Tohru and Selma and the fact that Tohru notices Selma’s loneliness, a tad sad. Overall, another fine volume with a bit of a mystery towards the end. Looking forward to the next volume!
An average volume for this series. A little magic lore, a tiny bit of combat and Lucoa being gross. Telne was the standout character in this entry. A neat detail that was almost a throw away line is the fact that mages aren't technically human.
