Fun for my niece and nephew, ages 2 & 4, but they did keep laughing that everything smells like shampoo! 🤣

It’s a wonderful continuation of the original Hungry Caterpillar, and it’s another good board book to teach colors to toddlers.

Really cute board book! One of my daughter’s favorite bedtime books to read.

Garden Picnic is a book that tells the story of how the hungry caterpillar was still hungry, so he ate different types of food that he likes. One by one. Beautiful illustrations complete the whole. It is like a continuation of the book about The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Fantastic book!

You might call this a color book. It features red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and pink foods, all displayed on one spread on the last page. The scratch-and-sniff didn't hold up to four years of library use. I couldn't smell anything.

Good garden illustrations for the Hungry caterpillar to find more food in the garden. However a scratch and sniff title perhaps doesn’t belong in a circulating library as after six years there was only library odor, no fruit odors. Copyrighted 2020.

Now I want to go on a picnic. I’ll have to settle for an indoor one since the weather is nasty.

Can you go wrong with a The Hungry Little Caterpillar book? This is is just basically a simple rhyme that is the vehicle for six itch-and-stink spots - but only one or two of them smell as they are supposed to.

A quick book that talks about some different fruits and snacks you may have at a picnic. I liked pointing out the ones I knew.
