(4.5 stars) - the amnesiac's version of groundhog day

Much as I've been enjoying this whole series, I think this one is my favorite of them all. Clara develops an odd sort of relationship with amnesiac movie star, Everett. With the way his memory is damaged, each day begins with very little memory of what passed the day before. And each day, Clara has to wait and see if Everett will recognize her as herself or mistake her yet again for the fictional heroine his own character loves from the movie he was working on when he got hurt.

It's an intriguing premise and a very entertaining story with lots of swoony moments. There a twist on a twist at the end that I had mixed feelings about because I felt like it was too unbelievable, but I do confess that it was amusing. The happily-ever-after was totally satisfying plus we get a little sneak peek at the next in the series.

*Clean romance level: passionate kisses

This is such an interesting series. I love the amnesia aspect and how different each case is from the others. Everett's story was so interesting and frustrating at times. I can't imagine being Claire and all she is going through. They are both wonderful people and I really enjoyed their story. There were plenty of sweet swoon worthy moments. I'm looking forward to the next book.

What I found interesting:

• Everett's accident on the movie set grabbed my interest right away and drew me into the story. Day dreaming can be very hazardous to one's health.
• I liked that Everett had a different type of amnesia than most stories use.
• Everett and Clara had amazing qualities and were very likeable characters.
• The minor characters were well developed and added depth to the story.
• The descriptions of locations and emotions were well done and I could easily visualize them.
• There were some twists and turns in the plot.
• The pacing of the story was neither too slow nor too fast and flowed smoothly.

I highly recommend this book to those readers who enjoy romance with a touch of the unknown. I received an advance copy of this story from the author. My review was voluntary and my opinions were my own.

Clara and Everett ❤️

Everett is a very famous actor who had an accident on the set and ends up with a mild case of amnesia. His agent, Marie, signs Clara up to be his caregiver during his recovery.

Clara had lost both her parents within a month of each other, and was facing eviction. That day, Marie called. Clara couldn't believe that on the same day she was worried about being homeless, she was on a jet headed to a Wyoming ranch to take care of an A-List movie star.

Marie added a very firm clause in her contract of no emotional connections, etc or she would lose all monetary provisions.

I loved the sweet romance that budded between Clara and Everett. I don't know why she never told him about the clause. Especially when she was on the jet with him to go back to work. But, it was a very sweet story! 💝

Wow, 5 stars does not come close to how I feel about this book.

This was such a lovely, sweet love story, I barely know where to start to express how I feel.

Just when I thought no book in this series would take the place of Her Dream Cowboy, I was wrong. This is my favourite by far and I’m not even into Christmas themed stories.

There are a whole load of emotions locked into this book. Heartache, grief and a bit of suspense, to keep us on our toes. And a whole load of winter fun to smooth it all out 😍

A really enjoy the amnesia genre and I love the way this series has a small overlapping part to tie them altogether.

I received this as a complimentary copy and I am giving my honest review voluntarily

Clara's dreams of becoming a nurse have been torn away with the loss of her parents and funds to complete her schooling. Everett has nearly completed his next big production when he is injured and loses his memory. His short term memory is affected as is his being able to sort out real life and movie characters. Clara comes to care for him and looks so much like the character in his movie that he struggles to be sure what is real. This brings a nice extra twist to the amnesia story and helps to highlight how important it is to know what is real in our personal lives. So many times we play a different role for different people. Bein our true self is what will bring the greatest joys and the most peace. I love seeing the growth in Clara and Everett.

I have loved this whole series on Amnesia. Lawrence is an actor who gets knocked off a hate stack and ends up with Amnesia. His manager hires Clara as a nurse to help him. Lawrence with his poor memory confuses Clara with the female character in his movie. Everyday, Lawrence wakes up with no memory from the day before. Clara helps him with a way to remember to retrain his brain. In the course of their time together, they develop feelings for each other. Her Famous Cowboy has enjoyable characters and moves along great.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Her Famous Cowboy. I liked both main characters, and loved the cook. I found the type of amnesia that the actor had to be much more interesting than just remembering nothing. I loved that even in his confused state, Everett tried to protect Clara. The plot had twists--what's real, what's not. Danae Little has a smooth writing style that's a pleasure to read. I definitely plan to read more of this author's work. I recommend this book, especially for readers of clean/wholesome romance. I obtained a copy through KU.

This was a sweet amnesia romance. Everett confuses his nurse Clara for the actress in the movie he is currently working on. Despite her feelings for him, she is reluctant to act on them because of that and and she doesn’t want to break the contract she signed when she was hired. I loved their Wyoming cabin hideaway, that he helped her develop of love of horseback riding, and didn’t hold her back from finishing her nursing degree. The epilogue has a hook for the next book in the series, which I’m looking forward to reading.

Her Famous Cowboy

Everett was a movie star that got injured during a scene in the movie he was acting in. He ended up with amnesia and had a hard time getting facts straight. Clara was a paramedic who was going through nursing school to become an R.N. Her mother was suffering from cancer and she left school to take care of her. Maria Everett's agent contacted Clara to be his nurse while he recovered from his accident. This is my review of a good book on how love can overcome many obstacles. Norma Gorrill

Her Famous Cowboy

Clara and Everett have a really sweet story. Everett is a movie star who has been injured on set. He lost his memory as a result of the injury. Clara had to leave nursing school before finishing up her degree to return home. Just when she is at her lowest, she receives a call from Everett’s agent offering her a job nursing Everett. Clara isn’t told of the possible danger of the situation; is the danger real or imagined?

Well done

An interesting book that includes aspects of amnesia not usually discussed. It also deals with loss and uncertainty. The characters were believable and warm. The storyline was interesting with the added tension of the contract and the threat. It was well done, with a satisfying ending that wasn't just " the usual".

Love this book

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I spent my Christmas Day reading it. The one thing I really loved about this book was that you extended it to include their lives a few years later. I won’ give anything away about the story, but highly recommend this book. Thank you for an excellent read.

A nice addition to the Unforgettable Cowboy series. it's a ever day person meets a famous person and they fall in love type of story. Personally, I had a hard time connecting with the characters but the overall story flowed well and was entertaining. I did get into the ending, which had an unexpected twist!

Great book

Everett and Clara's story is very interesting and suspenseful. There comes a time in the story where you are not sure if his loss of memory is based on his acting career or from his past. It is very interesting to try to figure this story out.

Healing

Clara is hired to help Everett a famous star heal after his tragic head injury. He believes for the longest while she is his and not his nurse. He also believes they are in danger. Can Clara conveince him she is his nurse? Will they stay safe? Will they fall in love?

Clare and Everett

Wow life can change in a blink of an eye. This is what happened to Everett. They were both brave and stubborn. Enjoy reading. I had a hard time putting it down when I needed too.

An interesting spin on amnesia, where the injured hero can’t retain his short term memory.

Good Clean Read

This book has great characters and twisting story. It even has a evil witch ( not really) just a bad woman. It was fun to read so give it a try.

This entire series focuses on men and women suffering from amnesia. Each book is outstanding, and I always feel the current book is the best so far. In this installment, the author has cleverly woven Everett's profession, his confusion and a likely scenario into a suspenseful tale that has even Claire scrambling for clarity. The only negative I saw was a scene toward the end of the book that stretched plausibility too far for me. The entire book, however, was an entertaining clean romance. I recommend it. I received an advance reader copy of this book and this is my honest opinion.
