18+ for language and sexual situations. Rabbit She’s out of my league and I’m low on the list of her trusted allies, but when she’s caught in the crossfire of a conflict with a rival club, I don’t want anyone else watching her back. Even if I have to shackle her to my f***ing bed. Parker He’s the man I never knew I wanted, but he’s made it clear I'm not enough for him, so when he tries to use his beautiful mind to hack into my secrets, I’m left confused and defragmented.
New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author Piper Davenport writes from a place of passion and intrigue, combining elements of romance and suspense with strong modern-day heroes and heroines.
She currently resides in the Pacific Northwest with her author husband, Jack Davenport, and an obnoxious YorkiePoo named Pepper who may or may not be an international spy.
This was a cute story as the story had a great cast of characters that were funny and engaging and a whole lot of fun.
The story was a bit emotional and it had several things going on all at once and it also had one whopping surprise we did not see coming. The main characters had some major chemistry and their sexual encounters were hot.
We loved Rabbit he was a whole lot of fun he was bossy and dominated and a bit over protective but, one thing for sure is that he loved Parker with everything he had and she was the love of his life and something to be protected at all times.
"He was my favorite !"
Parker was a character I had to warm up to as she wasn't the kind that you love instantly at least for me and I am not sure why that is but, I think that for such as savvy business owner she acted childish most times and it just pissed me off because her future was right in front of her and she kept trying to sabotage it and there was no doubt she and Rabbit belonged together.
Overall is was a good story but, I just felt something was missing. The story left us with a lot of unanswered questions like who and why and why is the club being targeted but, the story was also fun and those old ladies definitely made it so.I have to say that we really loved the ending after so much emotional turmoil for this couple it was the perfect ending for them.
We are so loving this series with these characters and we loved that they grace the pages with each and every new story. It hard not to love these bunch of bikers as their women are the reason for living and their all about protecting them and loving them fiercely and we just love that.
While I enjoyed this book and really liked Rabbit, I was a little disappointed in Parker. The story was great, some very interesting twists and great characters. Parker just seemed extraordinarily needy, clingy, and easily frightened considering the life her man was in. But as I said, I did enjoy the book.
I've read the others in the series but since I have long, short, and I forgot what I'm walking into this room for memory loss, the beginning of this book confused me. I don't like hero's who push the girl away because he was hurt and he didn't want her to see him like that. Why didn't he bend over backwards, profess his love and beg for forgiveness for being an arse? Did he do this and I missed it? They weren't together for two years after the accident? And it seems people are saying well it's because of you girl? I'm confused, he pushed her away. It's his job to win her back, I just didn't see or hear that happening. Did something happen and I missed it.... How they are together at the very beginning at her flower shop (how she practically demands that she give him a bj) and then he's like, now we're getting hitched... What in the world did I miss?? I just could not get with this story. I think it made me cranky about the rest of the story so I will stop complaining now.
Triggers, she has two miscarriages
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
To me the blurb doesn't really describe the book properly.
Yes, Parker does find herself in the middle of something but she's not to sole focus of the trouble.
What I like is that this couple has history. They know each other from the MC and the fact that her two besties are hooked up with two of Rabbit's MC brothers. In the prologue we learn that Rabbit is hurt and it shakes Parker into admitting her love for him.....yet....
A quick wedding to get things settled once and for all! In other books this would feel rushed but you get their backstory so it seems long overdue.
Now there is trouble for the MC but that's not the focus here or at least not the complete focus. Parker gets herself into a situation that could have ended sooo badly. And Rabbit gets kidnapped and given a really really out of left field, I never saw THIS coming proposal.
It was an enjoyable read. I got into the story and felt myself getting mad and sad when they did. When you start back talking to some of them you know it's a good story. Can't wait for the next in this series.
Finally getting Parker and Rabbit’s story! After her friends found their HEA with the MC, I was so impatient to get her story and who she ends up with. Rabbit pushed Parker away years ago after his accident, and since then they’ve played back and forth with each other trying to make the other jealous and wanting each other back. Everything comes to a head when someone threatens the MC through Parker and attacks her, and Rabbit decides finally to just give into his feelings and claim her. As they go back and forth, fighting their relationship every which way while also trying to figure out who is coming after the club, I couldn’t wait to see how they made it out the other side. My heart hurt for Parker and her struggles, and I fell more in love with this couple. Their love for each other really came through in this book and made it that much more enjoyable. Love this series and can’t wait for the next installment! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
After Rabbit was injured in an explosion Parker realised that she can't hide from her feelings for him. But yet another two years go past before they actually get their act together. Now everything should be smooth sailing, right... But No... Enemy comes out of the woodworks and goes through Parker to get to the Dogs of Fire. Now its trying to keep the enemy from their families and trying to sort out their relationship. I have to say that what Parker was going through, my heart was really sore. It was a lot. But the fact that Rabbit stood by her side was the happily ever after we wanted. Suspense and Drama is what this story is based on. But also having a happily ever after and finding their peace with each other. What more do you want from an MC Story. And the ending, lets just say there is going to be more fireworks coming that we wont see coming.
Finally we are getting Rabbit and Parker’s story!! Their story is fun and entertaining with a little bit of tears. And I was so excited to see former characters make an appearance in this book and they allude to characters from different series this author and her husband write. Rabbit pushes Parker away after an incident with the club almost 2 years prior. But when Parker’s life is in danger Rabbit is the first one there to protect and claim her. They have some push and pull in the beginning of the relationship but when everything is finally smooth out it’s not smooth sailing from there but they encounter a few bumps along the way but they ultimately persevere. My heart absolutely broke for Parker with her struggles but Rabbit was right by her side through it all. Will they get their ultimate HEA or will Parker’s issues tear her and Rabbit a part? I can’t wait for the next installment of the series!!
Parker (aka Pebbles) & Rabbit!!! Ahhhh!!! Idk how long we've been waiting for this story, but it's SO GOOD! Steamy (seriously, bring a fan while you're reading because these two are H O T!) & SWEET & fun & bantery. There also might be some tears, so maybe grab a tissue or two. And the mysteries or ... suspense elements - really well done.
I love the EPICness of this series - really, of all the series in this "world" created by not just Piper, but her husband & their friend, Harley Stone. The way everything connects is just SO. MUCH. FUN.
Highly recommend this story, but I would also highly encourage you to read the whole series, because the richness of the relationships is worth it! : )
Finally Rabbit gets his story and it was so worth the wait!!! Rabbit knows that Parker is the one for him, but Parker keeps him at arm's length not committing to more than friends with benefits. Rabbit won't accepting anything less than making her his permanently and will do what ever it takes to convince her of that and show her that she wants this as much as he does. Once Parker finally realizes that Rabbit is her forever, Rabbit wastes no time making this official. Their story was hot, passionate, sweet, full of action, and funny....everything that I love about a Piper Davenport story. I was hooked from beginning to end and hated to see it end. I loved everything about their book and highly recommend it to all. I can't wait to read what is next from this talented author. Well done!!!!
This book was everything I've come to love about Piper Davenport. I love a good MC story. This goes beyond good to great. I love getting lost in these characters. I love getting to follow up with our characters from past books. But most of all I love getting to know more about Parker and Rabbit.
These two had amazing chemistry, even when Rabbit is doing his best to push Parker away. I love getting lost with these two. I love watching this relationship become more. I loved watching Rabbit support Parker. I loved watching Parker fight for Rabbit.
This story was everything. I'm so excited to fall in love with two more characters in this amazing series. I can't wait to see what's to come. Please check out this amazing book.
I absolutely LOVE Piper Davenport and this series and I've been waiting patiently...NOT...for Rabbit and Parker's story...wow, was it worth the wait! Rabbit is precious, love this guy and he's perfect for Parker. Their story leading up to this book was so up and down and you just wanted them to figure it out and get together, thank goodness they did. This book is filled with Piper Davenport goodness...sexy, sweet, funny and exciting. We also got to visit old friends and I swear I saw a ton of openings for new couples...heaven. Thanks so much Ms. Davenport for sharing your incredibly vivid imagination with us, can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Rabbit can hop into my life any day. He might be a biker but he is also a doting loving partner, and protective brother. His decisions aren't always the best. But he does what he thinks is right.
Two years ago he pushed Parker away not wanting her to watch him in pain. He didn't want to see the agony or pity on her face. He didn't want to make her life difficult as he recovered from severe burns. His decision took away two years of loving. His decision took away two years of being together. He didn't give her a choice.
He doesn't give her a choice on the day she is attacked either. She is his, like it or not. He will protect her at all costs. He will make her his forever.
Hacking the Biker's Code is for the most part a love story. Two years apart is bound to create tensions. Two years apart is bound to cause conflicts. Two years apart makes one wonder if they can even make it work.
There is a Biker's Code that adds to their challenges. When he gets in to trouble she demands to know everything. Code says she needs to know nothing. Whenever he goes off grid she instists on knowing what is happening. Code demands she be kept in the dark. The Code will save them or tear them apart.
Parker was so concerned about Rabbit's safety she forgot about her own. When Parker disappears will the Code save her or will she be lost forever?
Rabbit and Parker's love story has been a long time coming since they have been back and forth with their relationship for years and on top of that, Parker had to endure two years of heartbreak after Rabbit pushed her away when he found himself severely injured during an explosion. Now they have finally got it together but threats from hidden enemies and enduring heartbreak means that Rabbit and Parker still have to fight for each other and the love they've found. This was another great MC romance from Piper Davenport to add to the series. I did feel that parts felt slightly rushed but I still greatly enjoyed this story!
After years of saying no, Parker finally gets out of her own way and finally decides to go all in with Rabbit. That's not to say their road is smooth, as always, there are obstacles that, on more than one front, but what kind of Dogs story would it be if there wasn't a bit of turmoil. Rabbit is juggling his responsibilities with the club and his new wife, but Parker's transition isn't as easy, she kind of goes off the rails and turns a bit clingy. I'm curious to see where the club's new found 'partnership' is going and am looking forward to seeing snippets of it in the other series' as well.
This book was def a quick read. The romance scenes in it were great. The story line was kinda all over the place, like the author couldnt figure out what she really wanted the book to be about. The beginning was kinda confusing because she was putting all these characters in there and it was kinda hard to keep up. Than she decided to have one of the characters all of a sudden be 8 mos pregnant and there was never any mention of that in the earlier chapters when the character was missing. It just seemed all over the place. Ohhh and I forgot to mention that Parker was getting on my nerves... with all her questioning and worrying and babysitting and calling him honey.
I have been waiting for Rabbit and Parker's story and this didn't disappoint, there is the usual fun banter and I could picture the scenes in my mind. After Rabbit was hurt he pushed Parker away but then he came to his senses and they become a couple, there are a few kidnappings and not to give too much away, make sure to have some tissues handy as there are a few emotional scenes, I loved this page turning read and devoured it in one sitting.
I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion
Rabbit and Parker finally get their story!! I have been waiting for Parker to get her story since the beginning of the series and I wasn’t disappointed. Parker and Rabbit had a rough road. Parker’s insecurity over being older, Rabbits injury from a bomb, as well as everything the club has been through has kept them from being together, but when they finally get together, wow! I loved Rabbit and Parker, especially go supportive and protective Rabbit is toward Parker. I can’t wait to read what comes next for the Dogs!
I absolutely loved this book! It has everything you could want in an MC romance! It’s a sexy, steamy romance with action, suspense, drama, intrigue, humor and many twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat! I couldn’t put it down! I loved Rabbit and Parker! They finally get their story. They have loved each other forever and when trouble comes her way Rabbit is going to do everything he can to protect her. Piper has written another fantastic story in the Dogs of Fire: Savannah Chapter series! I look forward to reading the next book from Piper!
Holy Smokes! I've been waiting patiently for this story since they first popped into the Dogs series! I knew there was something more going on with all the jealousy that seemed to be brewing in the other stories and I knew when it finally came to a head there would be fireworks everywhere! This book didn't disappoint me and I was so happy to finally understand what was going on with this awesome couple in the background of the other books that Piper hadn't let us witness before!
Oh Piper, what a great read! Rabbit and Parker's story was just amazing. There were parts that hit home and had me tearing up. I did not see the twist coming with Lila and that made me love it more. Put me on the edge of my seat. Once again you gave us another story that I could not put down till I finished. It was also great revisiting other characters I love. Brava!!
I could not wait for Rabbit and Parkers story! They have had chemistry since day one that they were introduced. This book was worth the wait! Events that kept them apart have come to a head when Parker is in trouble. Nothing will keep Rabbit away now! Parker is a sassy heroine and the perfect match for alpha Rabbit. This book has all the things you love about a great MC book, steamy romance, suspense, action and humor. This is another amazing book in this series!
Rabbit’s story has been a long time coming! What an exciting read. Parker and Rabbit were explosive!
There was a lot going on in this book. Just when I hoped we’d get some answers to one issue another issue popped up. Through it all were Parker and Rabbit. This book takes you on a journey thru all the ups and downs of a relationship, but in the end, everyone lives HEA.
But I still wanna know...who is after the club? Are we closer to an answer? Come on, Piper! Send us the next book quick!
Dogs of Fire Savannah Chapter book 6. Parker gets her man. Parker is sweet but don't let it fool you. Its always the quoet ones you gotta waych. Rabbit is a tech savvy alpha. And he loves Parker above everything. The road to that love is filled with trials and tribulations. Lots of good stuff in this book with today's issue but never preachy. I laughed and cussed out my kindle several times. Love this series
Another great read in the Dogs of Fire series, totally loving this series. I absolutely loved Rabbit and Pebble’s story ❤️❤️❤️ there’s always a bit of drama and danger lurking around. A touch of crazy. After feeling two losses they finally got there dream. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤
Happy freaking birthday to me!! Pebbles and Rabbit finally got their story. I was definitely getting upset with Parker and wanted to shake her a bit; however, she finally came to her sense and claimed the man she loves! Thank you for such an awesome birthday gift. Highly recommended along with the rest of the Dogs of Fire: Savannah series!
Piper never disappoints me. I loved Rabbit and Parker. As always her books go by way to fast for me. I liked that things seemed (for me anyway) easy. Yes they have their trials and tribulations however you always know that they love each other and are meant for each other. Also enjoy the relationship between the brothers and even their old ladies.
I love Rabbit and Parker! they are rapidly becoming my favorite couple and that's hard for me to say!! Alamo and Hatch are my favorites!!! Piper Davenport's writing has gotten better with each book! I can't wait to see what she has instore for us next! Rabbit and Parker have been through alot! I love how they evolved together!!
Parker and Rabbit had a thing going until Rabbit git hurt. Parker freaked out. They have seen each other for awhile. Rabbit comes back into her life and practically demands she marry him. Can they make a relationship work this time? Will Parker find something to freak out about? Will they get the family they want?
Another good read in the series and omg I do love rabbit. He’s just perfection and yet I’m not sure his tolerance with pebbles constant arguing or asking what he was doing 24/7 could have been sustained by the other bikers. I liked her but she annoyed the heck out of me too. Good read. Hope taxi gets a story of his own too.
