3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK decent reads. ====================== What happened to the hero's parents? What happened to the pregnant fiancee? What happened to the impeding wedding? Everything was unsolved and nothing else was said. I wanted to see them pay for everything.
This story just irritated the hell out of me left & right. All the "Kittens", all the "Daddies", the weak-a** miscommunications between multiple characters, the lack of resolution for Mia & Nik, the "fragile Nevaeh" complex everyone had, the overreactions... GAH! Heck, I'm not even 100% behind Braxton & Nevaeh as a couple yet. She just came across as so very young & honestly... it kinda gave me the heebie-jeebies at times.
Oh, well... Not every book &/or couple in a series can be a winner for everyone, I guess. *shrugs* VERY much looking forward to Luca & Violet's story though! Twins can always stir up some angsty sh*t!! #YouGotThisViolet
No me serán encantando estos del Legado porque deja sin información de los pers5secundarios, aparecen echan una bomba y ya, no pasan Ada después. Qué paso con el Papa de Em, qué pasó con el Papá de Braxton, no pueden dejar esto así nomas
OK..I loved the book and the love between Braxton & Nevaeh. We knew they had the chemistry it was just a matter of time. Time that Braxton was waiting to tick away but Nevaeh didn't understand why. I felt theirs was an innocent love a pure love. I loved how it was referred to as the love like her parents. Now for what I didn't like. The whole thing with Braxton's parents and announcing his marriage and pregnancy was floated out there and then just dropped like it never happened yet it was the root of the problem between Nevaeh & Braxton. I felt that too much time was spent with Nevaeh finding out that Drake was so sick and Mia being pregnant. I felt it was given too much story and it took away from Braxton & Nevaeh. In the end I got the Drake part because it played into Nevaeh forgiving Braxton after speaking to her father. I understand announcing Mia was pregnant but that should have been enough. The book was not long enough for the amount of time spent on those. All in all it was a great book just my opinion.
Nevaeh moves in with her cousin Mia and her boyfriend Barrick, along with Barrick’s cousin Braxton....oh boy I’m off to an alliterating start😁
The minute they saw each other the wanted the other, but unfortunately due to age Braxton held off. Now Nevaeh is about to turn eighteen and he’s ready to make his move when his parents start causing problems😢
I really enjoyed this story as it was emotional at times (keep some tissues handy), had me anxious in a few spots and had me laughing out loud a handful of times too❣️ The ending was wonderful but I feel as though we didn’t get a resolution with regards Braxton’s parents....I know I’m being greedy but I would’ve liked to know the outcome there and who and what was said🤷♀️ Super excited for more of this series and thinking I’m going to have to read the first gen stories to find out more about the parents of each child getting their HEA now😍
I had high hopes. This wasn't a bad read but once again it was okay. It was just to fast I did hate the two year fast forward. This book should have been longer to fit in all the side drama of the ex- girlfriend and Braxon's family. They could have also had the whole emotional moments with her dad Shane. Once again they could have filled in a bit of the gap instead of having Nevaeh moving in then two years later 'I'm moving on because you don't feel the same and I cant take it'. I really hope 'Loving Violet' is longer.

Needing Nevaeh was the second book in the Rockers Legacy series by Terri Anne Browning. It was a spinoff from the original Rockers series.
Neveah Stevenson was the sixteen year old daughter of Drake and Lana Stevenson (book three, original Rockers series.) She was a genius and at age sixteen was now a freshman in college.
Braxton was the brother to Barrick (Holding Mia, book one). He was former military, had lost his leg in an IUD accident and was still searching for his new normal. Then he met Neveah and he knew he had found his new purpose in life.
Although the story began when Neveah was underage (as friends), Browning quickly brought us to Neveah’s eighteenth birthday for the full storyline to begin. She then navigated us through a couple twists and turns for plot depth. I enjoyed the story but felt one of the major conflicts needed fleshing out more - the mystery was solved but there was no closure and it ended without addressing how it was resolved. I would have enjoyed a longer book for filling in the gaps.
Otherwise, it was a quick and entertaining read. I continued to enjoy the entire Demon’s Wings family and can’t wait to continue the series. I had already read book three, Saving Mila, as part of Browning’s cross over with her Angel’s Halo MC Next Gen series, so up next for me is book four, Loving Violent - the long awaited story between Luca and Violet and I can’t wait!
This is probably my least favorite of any of the Terri Anne Browning books I've read so far, and I've read nearly all of them.
Braxton couldn't keep a promise five minutes after making it, and Nevaeh was so delicate and sensitive that everyone who knew her was afraid that more than one stressful situation at a time would break her. And they were right! She was a blubbering, crying mess through most of the book. She was catatonic one moment, screeching in anger the next, and even fainted from the stress once.
Plus, there was no satisfying outcome to that whole situation with Braxton's toxic parents and whacked-out ex. Braxton decided to wash his hands of the entire thing, and that was just it! It wasn't mentioned again.
Even without all of that, it was just so damn depressing. The two of them establishing a relationship (even just as friends) mostly happened off-page in the two years that passed between the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next. There was way more drama than any resolution to it.
Couldn't put down!! I'm never truly disappointed with any of Terri's books. My only wish was that the book was longer and there was some clarification about one part of the story line. I would have liked more detail but it didn't take away from the story itself.
Needing Nevaeh is book two in the rocker’s legacy series. I have been eager to read this book since meeting the characters in book one. I devoured this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Braxton has felt a connection to Nevaeh since he first saw her. As she wasn’t yet sixteen, he had years to wait. Being incredibly smart, Nevaeh is in college two years early. She lives with Braxton and loves him but will he make a move as soon as she hits eighteen. Without giving away any spoilers, this book made me cry. My heart ached for Nevaeh and everyone. The chemistry between Nevaeh and Braxton is clear to see and I loved them together. That being said, I wanted to shout at Braxton to be more open. That being said, I really enjoyed this story. I cannot wait for more books from this series. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.
I was pulled into this book right from the get go and that's where I stayed until I had read every single word that was written. All the while I was watching it play out in my had wih my little mini movie. Twists, turns and surprises await you within the pages of this book. Some of the surprises you might not see coming, but some you might. Some of the surprises are large and others are small. Some may pull on your heartstrings and other might hit you slap bang in the face, but each and everyone of them holds equal importance within the story. The emotions that each of the characters can be felt. Infact I went through them along with the character. I cried more though. Loved yhis book. I highly recommend Terri Anne Browning as an author and her books.
Needing Nevaeh begins strong and with each passing page, the story just gets better and better. It never loses momentum and you just want to drag it out because you don't want the book to end. Only problem was some things didn't get resolved. Questions left unanswered.
Angsty, delightful, and will give you all the feels!

Braxton loves Nevaeh, he has from moment one. She is HIS, and soon she, and everyone else will know that beyond the shadow of a doubt! Then past mistakes, present betrayals, and nefarious individuals conspiring to ruin their future surface! If you are looking for a brilliantly written, gloriously narrated, hawt as hades, angst filled, make you rage, make you laugh, make you cry listen, look no further, THIS IS IT! I felt everything there was to feel with this one! I wanted it to end because I wanted to KNOW the answers, yet I didn’t want it to end because it was just so good! I wanted to up the speed to get there faster, but that might mean missing something. I was soooo torn! Finally, I grabbed a stress ball, the tissues and just let it play out! I am so glad I did! No spoilers, just five angsty, teary, joy filled stars! I loved it!
Sadly this book was just okay. I hated the miscommunication - it has been done and honestly I’m bored with this device.
Nevaeh meets Braxton when she is 16 and instantly they both know that they are meant for each other. Braxton knows that he has to wait for Nevaeh to be of age in order to do anything about his love so there is a time jump in the book. When Nevaeh is finally 18, Braxton has to convince her that he has been in love with her all along.
The immediate attraction was kind of a complete ick to me. I will also say that the book is just full of drama, not emotion but like a soap opera. I love a wounded hero, and Braxton is a former Marine and an amputee. However, it just seemed like so much of the conflict could have been avoided and then a large portion of the conflict was never addressed. I found this really frustrating and I wanted more from this story.
I don’t recommend this book and I wouldn’t read it again.
4 stelle
This series is not turning out to be the most liked by this author for me. The problem with this book 2 in the series is it fully ignores the two things that were so stressed upon in book 1 for the H and h. The previous book where the H was introduced as a war veteran with issues being an amputee and the h being too smart and out-spoken for her own good. Both things were majorly ignored to give a very meh story line. Just the captivating writing takes the book to 3 5 stars. Sorry not sorry.
Slow burn to full fire. I needed a bit more. Like how was the "problem" dealt with? The pet name didn't work very well for me either. I did enjoy the writing and will read more of the series.
