This is a lively story linked with lots of f un picture puzzles, ideal for a young child to come back to time after time. The detailed colour illustrations are packe d with things to spot. '
This is a fun book for people of any age who like visual puzzles. The author drew complex pictures and the reader is expected to find several items on each page. It's a cute book, easier than the "Where's Waldo?" books and more enjoyable!
Puzzle Ocean contains large colour pictures with lots of things to find on each page. At the beginning we are given a list of treasure items to find, and other creatures to keep an eye out for.
The story follows Rosie and her friend Milly through the ocean to get the King's Crown back from a thief.
The puzzles were fairly easy for a young child, but sometimes the items were hidden a little too well and after looking at the answers we could still only see them a little bit. I would say that Puzzle Ocean isn't one of the best Usborne Puzzle Books.
My oldest daughter loves the Usborne Puzzle books. The intricate drawings on each page are accompanied with some type of puzzle - a maze, an "I Spy" game, etc. We have fun doing the puzzles together, then she can look at the book herself and enjoy the pictures that go to the story. So far, we only own 2, but we have plans for future purchases.
This is a fun book of puzzles, similar to Where's Waldo, but with more things to find, count, and various puzzles to solve. There's a decent storyline and our girls had a lot of fun poring over each page to find the items.
